The bustling, cavernous dining room with its classic wooden accents and lively atmosphere creates an unforgettable setting for a classic seafood feast. The service was remarkably polished and attentive, carrying on decades of legendary hospitality. The food exceeded every expectation: the iconic Crab Claws were sweet, succulent, and perfectly chilled, while the decadent Lobster Mac offered ultimate rich comfort. Surprisingly, their classic Fried Chicken delivered a golden, perfectly crispy bite, and the Creamed Spinach rounded out the meal as an ideal, savory side dish.

Walking in you get that old school feel with the staff dressed to the tee and very friendly. They had a special pre fixe menu that was fairly priced which allowed me to try a lot of the menu instead of having to order a la carte. Our server was professional and terse but in a way that I didn't mind and he even scolded some other busboys for taking too long to clear our table which I found funny but appreciated too. I started with the Stuffies which were amazing! The baked clams were dressed up nicely and these were very tasty. The stone crabs were delicious and I loved the dipping sauce it came with. Granted we visited outside of stone crab season and so I'd love to come back when the crabs are more fresh and in season. It also came with sides of hash browns, creamed spinach, and a grilled tomato. While I appreciate the quantity and variety they gave, these sides were a miss for me. The pre fixe concluded with my choice of the Key Lime Pie which was a nice ending for the meal. Nicely balanced between tart and sweetness. My only note would be for the crust layer to be bigger since it would help balance out the pie portion a bit better. We also got the fried chicken which is a steal for only $9. Excellent and crispy skin and very moist! The only dry piece was the breast unfortunately, but otherwise it's hard to find a better fried chicken at this price.

This is a true workingman's kind of place, affordable, unpretentious, and focused on what matters most: fresh seafood done right. It smells like a fish market when you walk in, which honestly just tells you everything is fresh. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and you will not leave hungry. It's the kind of place where the food speaks for itself, no gimmicks, just solid, satisfying meals at a great price. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If you want real seafood that fills you up and keeps you coming back, this is the spot.

It is a seafood market on the front that you walk through to the back patio where the dining is. We were greeted by our server. I wish I could remember his name but he was funny. Great with suggestions. We were trying to decide from garlic sauce, to creole to blackened, etc. He was super helpful. He also kept stopping by and chatting with us from time to time. he noticed we had an MSC Cruise tag on our luggage and mentioned he used to work for them. Small world. My husband ended up getting the conch (he had it 3 different ways in the Bahamas and wanted to try it here) and shrimp in the creole sauce with fried rice and botanas. I got the lobster and shrimp in the scampi sauce with the fried rice and black beans. PLUS our server threw in a side salad for free. I will say this is a TON of food. I couldn't finish it all and it made me sad because we had to go to the airport right afterwards so I couldn't take the leftovers with me. The lobster was cooked well and the shrimp were huge. Love the scampi sauce. if you like garlic, this is for you. The fried rice is seafood fried rice. It has shrimp, scallops and maybe other seafood in it and it is a large portion. I liked the black beans as well. Just too much food. Great place though. I so would go back and eat here again. Maybe next time just get the shrimp for a smaller portion.

I get on the highway to drop them off and when I get to the school I got two flat tires on the driver's side. I called AAA to get my car towed to my neighborhood tire place called Mr. Colombia. While I was waiting, I got very hungry. I forgot that there was a seafood restaurant across the street. I said I might as well go eat while my car was getting serviced. I walked down the street I can smell the fish frying. A little info about this place, I frequented this location back 20 years ago, when my friend use to stay around the corner. We used to order minutas for those unfamiliar with the terminology it's a Spanish fried, boneless snapper sandwich. It's on a Cuban type burger roll, with onions and ketchup. I had them to add some lettuce and tomatoes. This sandwich is only $4 and with fries for $5.50, not a bad deal for something that is freshly cooked to order. I also ordered a Coca-Cola. When I bit, into my sandwich, can I say I was salivating, it was so perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The filet was very moist, adding the French fries completing the meal to a perfection. About this whole in the wall, it's been at this location for over thirty years. It's open everyday, except Sundays. On the weekends they sell a seafood type paella which literally sells out, so I recommend you come early. They also sell fresh seafood, (fish, shrimp, lobster, etc.) Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 8am-3pm My favorites and highly recommended, Minuta sandwich fully loaded with fries and fish soup with either noodles or rice. Don't knock it, till you try it.
