I think Secrets is under Hyatt name and food is bad. DID not like like it. THIS is Secrets and I was so disappointed,no pasta stafion ,no grill chicken,dlfish. POOR SELECTION. So disappointed
So this is a five star experience. But it isn't yet perfect. Just really fantastic. The location, the decor, the food, the beach are all world class. The service is a work in progress with some hot or miss. The small footprint makes a prime pool/beach chair tricky. But seriously it's a work around with a little cash thrown at the problem. Love the preferred amenities. And that view- I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
Came here in May for a weeklong stay. I spent 3 days in a regular room and then upgraded to the preferred club for the last 4 days. The upgrade is well worth doing! We went up by 7 floors and had access to the preferred lounge (snacks throughout the day), premium drinks, a 25min sample massage (did scalp and foot) for 2, amongst many other perks. Access to the pool on 12th as well as the Olio restaurant for breakfast and lunch were also great perks of the preferred club. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant (Nebbiolo) most for dinner. Sea salt grill was the fave for lunch. Their buffet is also quite solid. Service was super warm and friendly! The e-team was great - especially Charly, Eduardo, Itzel, Aisha, and Jonathon. Fave shows were the tropical night (Sun night) and boy band (Mon night). The live music in different areas is a super nice touch. Went to the spa for 2 deep tissue massages and the hydrotherapy during my time here - definitely recommend! The hydrotherapy circuit is shorter than some of the other Secrets resorts. They have complimentary wine tastings 1-2 times a day and some paid ones as well. Would highly recommend checking out the complimentary one first and then paying the $35 for the upgrade if you like - I did the Mexican one and it was fantastic. Tried 5 wines from Baja CA / Mexico and then had some savory bites along with the wines, and then some Mexican candies along with the wines to learn about how the flavors changed with different pairings. Their photographer on site, Laura, is wonderful. I booked a complimentary 30min shoot and ended up purchasing a few pics ($35 each if you buy less than 10, then lower cost per pic if you buy more). Housekeeping was solid.
We had a great stay at secrets the vine Cancún in early December! Staff was kind and helpful, resort was clean and well maintained. Activities staff was great- wish the schedule was better communicated as the app was often wrong. Wait times for restaurants could be better- and the app was unreliable for telling you when your table was ready. Staff was often upselling wine to get you a table- pushy and frustrating. Resort needs more pool and beach chairs for the number of guests- real estate was often claimed by 8am by belongings with no people. Still a great stay for a very reasonable price. Espresso martini and soft pretzel every afternoon was a highlight.

Hotel overall is clean and the restaurants are a lot better than many other resorts I have been to in the Caribbean. The rooms are a very decent size while sometimes, if someone orders room service you can hear the cart rolling throughout the hallways. I think the biggest thing that takes away from it being a good 4 star is the fact that it is indeed a smaller resort. While, you should know this prior to going as well as to many vlogs and information on the net, it is still surprising when you can finish exploring said resort in an hour or two. Services were pretty good overall, and activities can be potentially lacking as there are shows....but more like mini concerts and activities around the Lobby area as opposed to a massive display with acrobatics or singing at a main stage. Overall, a good experience, but probably not a resort I would go back to. Please take my review with a grain of salt as I am not a full resort person and my personal opinion could be skewed. For a couple I think this would be a relatively nice getaway. For a group of friends, I think there are better.
This is a picture of room service we ordered after an hour after we woke up to have something to eat we found all ants all over our food. Very disappointed I advised the manager he said that's basically what happens after an hour or so of food,.. I gave them the benefit of about to make this right and he refused..... over all horrible food very disappointed will never return to this resort. Save your money go elsewhere.
Secrets The Vine was a really great experience. The property is very clean and maintained well. The check-in process was easy and no one tried to sell us a time share!!! We upgraded to the junior suite and it was really big for the value. It had a massive balcony with a view to the left of the lagoon and to the right to the ocean. The only sad part about the view is looking straight out was another hotel. We were there in August so it was a little hot to hang out on the balcony. The resort is all inclusive and the food was really good. It is worth staying on property to eat. We did walk to our favorite restaurant which was perfectly located across the street and the hotel is in a great location in the hotel zone. The property felt very secure and safe. The drinks from the bar were really good as well except the Neon Lemonade...not a fan LOL. The buffet is really good except for the Fish Stew but mostly for the strong aroma while getting your food. I highly suggest this property.
Came here for my 55th birthday and it was well worth the trip! Had an awesome time here. They have numerous restaurants that are included in the all inclusive rate and the food choices are expansive and delicious. The room was spacious and beautiful with an awesome view of the ocean. They placed a birthday sash on my door and placed a lovely dessert in the room. Went to the spa and had a great massage which was preceded by a hydro therapy session. Highly recommend this adults only spot if you plan on visiting Cancun.
The ops manager /GM whoever runs this business should have a talk with him. Idk if it was because I'm Mexican but it definitely felt personal. He was rude and tried to leverage his power to dismiss providing us service. Never apologized for him and his team not providing us the room and upgrade we had asked for. If it wasn't for the GM or whoever the hell he was it would be better. Outside that hiccup and them messing up our room it's been a great experience. Resort is beautiful and food is great. The Asian spot is delicious. The steak house was amaizng as well sea salt was great for mariscos and fish. Haven't tried the Italian or olio the Mediterranean. I will definitely provide an update.
Just got back from our stay for our honeymoon at Secrets The Vine, that was from a Tuesday to Sunday from April 28 to May 3. This place was INCREDIBLE! I have nothing but good things to say about this place for a all inclusive, ADULTS ONLY resort. The resort it self was clean, modern and flawless. The service and people working there was top notch, everyone made us feel like royalty. The food was so good, obviously some spots weren't perfect but 90% of the time we LOVED what we ate. Was full inclusive so we ate a ton and drank a lot! The pools were beautiful and lots of options having 4. From Tuesday to Thursday it was so easy to get a spot at the pool or beach, would show up at 11am and find a two chairs and umbrella no problem. Friday/Saturday it was a bit harder since it's the weekend so the pool area was packed by 1pm but went to the beach and again found two spots with umbrella no problem. Beach was solid for hotel zone, this area of Cancun is known for having bad seaweed but the resort did its best to keep it cleaned up. Was able to get in the water some days and not see the seaweed everywhere. We did a preferred booking so got room on a higher floor, exclusive quick check in, access to roof top pool and restaurant. So if you don't care about those things just do a regular room but the upstairs pool was incredible. This place is definitely a relaxing resort, not a ton to do at night but that's what we wanted for our honeymoon. Pool can be somewhat lively during the day with music, and performances but at night it's just casual bars, restaurants and what not. Everything dies down before 12. Did a spa day too and it was great, had a couples massage, full body scrub, and hydrotherapy circuit for two that costs $398. I recommend booking it when you arrive as they may have deals. It was a great experience overall, we would for sure come back 100%!!! Every single worker there was so nice and helpful. Did not have a single bad experience with anyone that worked there.
Came here over the 4th July weekend and had a blast. This was my first time at this Secrets, as I have been to the other located in Puerto Vallarta and this was definitely a much better location. I have traveled to Cancun over the years and this resort is in that top notch of preference each time I do decide to go back. Our waiter Adrian was the best. Each morning for breakfast we would as for him and he would always have that same section reserved for us. The pools were fabulous you just have the be there very early to reserve a spot like all other resort where the perfect spot has to be close to the pool. The food was great from the first day we arrived and I must say the seafood by the pool was tasty. Seafood included Jumbo shrimp, grilled Octopus, and my favorite grilled mussels. (Yummy) As for our room, we were placed on the 18th floor with an Oceanview and a pool view. Room was very spacious and clean. Had no issue with the plumbing or any issue that would have made me reduce my ratings. But that evening sunset took my breath away as you can see in the pics that are here. Overall, I will suggest staying here, but the one item that still bothers me even when in Puerto Vallarta, was the massive amount of seaweed on the beach. Mexico needs to do a better job of curbing this. I do know what causing all this and they do too, but have done nothing to curtail the growth of this yearly issue. We were very bit happy with our stay. Great entertainment, great service, and great food and drinks. Arturo was our favorite waiter at the pool. He deserves a raise!
It was our first time in Mexico and we decided to choose adults only all inclusive hotel for my birthday and Secrets on the Vine looked perfect for us. Rooms were very new and spacious. We took deluxe king room with the sea view and the room didn't disappoint. However no privacy at the balcony is kind of an issue. You see your neighbors so you can't enjoy it so much. I loved amount of pools at this hotel. The food is available all the time at the lobby bar and beach bar during the day. I loved that there were a lot of seats, sofas, lounges to hang out at. Beach is right at the footsteps, it's so convenient however beach was not cleaned. There were a lot of seaweed in the water that irritated my skin because with strong waves it hits you everywhere. Gym was amazing, the views are very gorgeous, however didn't had air-conditioning and it was very difficult to do cardio. I end up doing pilates because it was too hot inside. Loved evening musicians at the lobby, piano players, guitar or just a simple jazz was very relaxing and it was every evening. Also later in the night was a lot of singers, some were very good some were OK. But it was always entertaining. We managed to see the turtles in the evening. They came on shore to lay there eggs and security of the hotel were guarding them so tourists wouldn't scare them. Some people were very rude they turned on flashlights trying to film/take a pic of the turtles and try to come from other side of the beach to come close to them. Please respect the nature and take the photos from the far without a flashlight! Food was ok, however portions were small in the restaurants. And sometimes I felt that food would be soggy and lack of texture that is specially at the buffet and lobby bar food & desserts. Also every restaurant "catch of the day" was branzino. Since I love fish and menus wasn't so big I was interested in fish and all restaurants had same branzino as a catch of the day for a week straight... The app that they told us to check for events and restaurants didn't work. It's was not clear to us what activities were offered and what evening shows would be. It was our first time at this hotel and we were confused. I wish they would explain more properly at the check in. Also activities often were cancelled and animation team wasn't present. I have been to all inclusive in Europe and they had much more interesting programs during the daytime. I loved the mojito class, however next day supposed to be margarita class I came there and it was cancelled. Also restaurant menu the app was not up to date or wasn't there at all and we had to ask front desk for the menu. Also it was not clear to us what was included and what was not because some restaurants were only for VIP package. What I didn't like that everywhere they try to push you into buying over $100 bottle of wine. Without that they didn't provide us a good table! At least 3 restaurants refused to give us a good table. They told us if we want window seat we have to purchase a wine bottle that starts at $100. Me and my husband don't drink much and we definitely don't need $100 wine bottle... Also many big groups take it to get a good table but It may not work for couples that just want to have a good table and romantic evening and they don't need a bottle. I think it's very unfair because I paid $600 a night and I don't want to pay more to get a good table specially at all inclusive restaurants that supposed to be part of our deal. I absolutely loved the evening circus show with water acrobats and they showed amazing balancing skills and everybody was just stunt from that show. It left many people speechless after the show. Overall we had a good 5 night stay. There can be a lot of improvements in cleaning and service in general. Also they didn't recognized my birthday. There was a bottle of wine in the room but we were not sure was it for us because there was no note or something.

Having gone through the facilities, restaurants and activities at Secrets The Vine, here are some things that we really loved about the resort. 1. No wrist bands. Unlike most all-inclusive resorts, you DONT HAVE TO WEAR A WRIST BAND at Secrets The Vine Cancun! Hooray! We've been to all-inclusive resorts that made us wear those naggy wrist bands and they were a pain! Firstly, it made us feel "imprisoned" and that is like the antithesis of the idea of a holiday! Secondly and more practically, the wrist band scratches and irritates you while you sleep, bathe or hold hands with your loved ones. So the no wrist bands policy at STV is definitely a huge plus for us! 2. Impeccable Service. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated to first class service. Our bags were taken, champagnes were served and the smell of the hotel lobby was reminiscence of high end hotels such as the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. At the pool, water was always served promptly (so that they remain ice cold) and the staff would always be on hand to ask if you needed another bottle of water, cocktail or an extra towel. Valerie (from the Entertainment team) also remembered us by name and even asked us for beach volleyball and water aerobics the next day. A nice personal touch for us. The no reservation policy for dinner was also a plus. Lastly, guests were always greeted with, "Welcome Home, Mr Lim" upon arrival and "When will you be back Mr. Lim?" upon departure. Small gesture that will definitely go a long way. 3. Relaxed Atmosphere. We would strongly recommend coming straight after breakfast to "chope" those beach facing seats. Sitting here, enjoying a cocktail and listening to the sound of the waves was oh so relaxing! Several times, we would just doze off, wake up, take a dip in the pool and repeat the whole cycle. Stayed here last summer in their presidential suite and it was amazing. From fresh daily fruit to the massive private terrace. Although I have a rule of not staying at the same place twice, I'm returning for the week of the 4th of July. Can't wait. My only complaint was the lack of outside guests. I had a massive room with a separate guest suite and couldn't invite people we were with staying at other hotels to hang out. Oh well :/ won't stop me from returning. read more

Very nice resort and rooms. The night entertainment is sorely lacking. The security is top notch and I felt very safe here. The food is great overall, but some things things were overly salty like the lobster soup. Would recommend this place but hope the food and night festivities improve. read more

Having stayed at the Secrets Akumal, I have something to compare the Vines too! We were welcomed with a glass of wine, we didn't have to wait till 3 to get our rooms. We got ocean view room which was nice. Naomi part of the entertainment crew was awesome. The staff was friendly and willing to help and always smiling. The reason I give it a 3 star is due to the fact the food not so great, rooms are noisy, no floaters by the pools, and the entertainment at night is really zero. Other than that the beach is ok full of seaweed which is not the hotels fault. Not to sure i would come back. Went to Tulum and our driver drove like a maniac cutting other cars off driving more than a 100m/ hr. All in all it's ok. read more

Luxury, clean, nice beach and good restaurants. We love the details and good in restaurants are mostly pretty good. Room is spacious and pretty. Good house keeping. Only down side are: spa was quite pricy, they up-sell a lot everywhere to ask you make reservation of restaurants and buy extra wine, the room service food was horrible, and long wait of dinner restaurants. Sport bar was the worst. Dragon restaurant breakfast was bad. read more

I came here earlier this month with my mom. It's more of a couples resort, but there were def families and we didn't feel like we were just surrounded by honeymooners. The experience we had was literally FLAWLESS. As soon as we got to the hotel, we were given towels to freshen up and as we neared the top of the stairs, we were greeted with two glasses of Champagne. Check in / Check out: Both processes were very easy. Check-in was a bit more time-consuming than check out since they had someone briefly show you around, explain the room, discuss the coupons you get Atmosphere: Everything about this place is gorgeous. It is literally only 2ish years old so its very modern and very new. Because it's so new (and my assumption is space was an issue) they don't have big, lavish, green landscaping in the front like you're used to for bigger resorts. But, as soon as you walk in the doors, you forget that. Everything about the resort screams gorgeous and relaxing! Rooms: We stayed in their basic suite - deluxe ocean view, which is still beyond wonderful. The great thing about secrets, is that even if you're not ocean front in their honeymoon suite, every room has a balcony and a view of the beautiful caribbean sea and lagoon. 2 Queen beds- super comfy. Large balcony with two comfy chairs and a table, huge amazing shower with a rain fall shower and a regular one, and 2 sinks. My only issue was the lack of outlets. There was one set of free outlets by 1 sink. So, my mom and I couldn't do our hair at the same time. There's one free outlet by the TV if you unplug the coffee machine to charge a phone, but other than that, that's it. Food/Restaurants: So, let me start by saying, if you're a vegetarian, you WILL get food - you'll get a LOT of food. They are SO accommodating, it's not even funny. We got to know a bunch of the waiters pretty well (and one of the Chefs) and they literally would make us meals during the buffets to ensure we got adequate veggie food. SHOUTOUT to Jorge who was at Market Cafe the first two days we were there then was moved over to Nebbiolo - he was AMAZING, so friendly and accommodating and already had talked to the chef before each time we got there to see what veggie-friendly food he could make us. Anywyas, we loved the food. The coffee shop has pastries in the AM, sandwiches in the afternoon and desserts at night and we loved it! We had food at the Half Time Bar, which is just a sports bar and loved their nachos. Mexican dinner at Market Cafe was good, but probably our least favorite. The breakfast/lunch there was great (buffet style). For lunch, barefoot grill would also have an outdoor buffet, which was good if you didn't want to dry off, put on your wrap and go inside to Market. We ate at the italian restaurant, Nebbiolo, twice and LOVED everything we ate (except my mom didn't really like the lasagna). We ate entirely too much but loved every second of it ;) Other restaurants they have include Olio (Mediterranean, Sea Side Grill (American - outdoor), Dragon (Asian), and a steakhouse I can't remember the name of. Beach/Pools - There are 3 regular pools and 1 preferred pool. The beach and pools are gorgeous. There was never an issue finding chairs or towels. On the beach, they are constantly going around putting up umbrellas so you just need to flag the guy down if you want one or tell the head beach/pool guy (that's the title I'm giving him...) at the top of the stairs. The ladies who bring you drinks are so friendly and are around often enough. People will be around to sell you things - not pushy if you say no. I bought a bracelet and 2 masks from 2 different guys. They will bargain, so bring your A game and talk the prices down. Entertainment crew - AMAZING!! Alejandro is WONDERFUL. Sunday, Kendall, and Heather are great too! There's ALWAYS something to do - beach volleyball, yoga, water aerobics, spanish lessons, bocce ball. etc etc. ETC. There were nightly activities as well - comedy show, magic show, casino night, newlywed game, fire show, etc to name some while we were there. We only attended water aerobics, casino night, and the comedy show. LOVED water aerobics with Alejandro. Spa - gorgeous spa with amazing employees (but seriously everyone who worked here was amazing). My mom and I both got swedish massages and loved both of our masseuse. I thought the process of being in the spa was weird - I don't know if it was just our lady, but she literally walked us through and said "ok now you can go to the sauna, ok now you can go in the hot tub... and so on" I kind of wish that was more of an independent thing like spas in the states. But overall, great! Staff- WONDERUL. Everyone responds to any thanks with "it's my pleasure" and it really is. SO kind, sincere, helpful! Our faves were Jorge, Chef Lucio, Alejandro, Juan Louis, Pablo, and Enid. Overall AMAZING experience and can't wait to go back with a future significant other!! HIGHLY recommend it!! read more

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at secrets the vine last November and we can't thank the staff enough for making us feel so special and loved! Secrets the vine is all inclusive (all you can eat and drink) adult resort in la zona hotelera in cancun México. First, we were greeted with a refreshing glass of champagne and a cold/wet hand towel, upon our arrival. After a whole night of traveling, that combination, was amazing! We were then taken to the 12th floor, as we were Vip guests, were we had a private check in and Um, more champagne!! Our room wasn't ready yet but the staff was kind enough to allow us to change and have a nice lunch while we waited for our room to be ready. We explored the hotel at that time and enjoyed the beach for a little bit. Throughout the week we spent at secrets the vine, my husband and I had no complaints! Room service worked fast, housekeeping kept the room clean, and concierge was there to assist in helping us book our romantic dinner by the beach and couples massage. Unfortunately, it rained on the night we were supposed to have our romantic dinner, but the staff was AMAZING at stil making the night memorable for my husband and I! The area is safe for all those travelers who worry about safety in Cancun. The red and white buses, ones who take you around town, are only a walking distance from the hotel. My husband and I used them plenty of times to get from point a to point b, especially at night when we explored the night life... trust me, they're safe! Lol and cheap! My husband and I planned a last minute 5 day trip to this resort and I would say this place far exceeded my expectations. The Vine is about 15/20 minutes from the airport. The front entrance is not grand, but once you step inside you won't remember the entrance at all. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the bellman and given bubbly and a cool towel. Then taken up to the 21st floor to check-in. The lobby is lovely and feels very peaceful and of course the view out to the ocean is gorgeous. The hotel is filled with a mix of guests - honeymooners, groups of friends, girlfriends, couples, and all different age groups. So truly, this place can appeal to everyone. The service provided by the entire staff was top notch! We had a Master King room on the 21st floor (Sandos side) and we are mixed on whether we found the Preferred Club to be worth it. The view was great and of course the room itself was awesome (2 bathrooms, huge balcony, dining table, two seating areas, lots of closet space). Since room was on the same floor as the Preferred Club Lounge and we loved being able to come off the beach and grab a drink (or a snack) and head right to our room without having to get back on the elevator. We also enjoyed the bathroom amenities that came with the PC, including the sunscreen (although unsure if they are the same in the standard rooms?). The PC pool was nice, but the lower pools are much better. More lively and just better pools overall. We liked the loungers at the PC pool, and the view, but the pool was lame. We never saw our Butler and I wasn't all that impressed with Housekeeping. The room was clean, but we had to call several times to get a variety of items (including trash can, hair dryer, face cloth towels...). We also didn't receive service on one day. The entire hotel does offer free wifi but we found it to be very spotty. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and loved that they didn't require reservations. Most of the restaurants require the men to wear pants, but unlike a lot of other resorts - jeans are okay. If you decide to dine after 8:30p, you'll definitely have to wait 45 minutes or so but most of the restaurants have a bar included so it's easy to pass the time by. As other reviews mention, the staff does ask about wine upgrades or special dinners, but we never felt pressured into anything. A simple "no thank you" and we never heard about it again. My favorite meal was at Olio, and Husband enjoyed Dragons but we really didn't have a bad meal during our stay. We didn't eat in the Sports Bar but we did frequent the bar to watch the Heat/Spurs game - great bar service and the food we saw looked good. We stopped at the coffee bar twice a day to get either a morning pick me up or an afternoon pick me up - we drink lots of coffee so we loved that there was a coffee bar (with snacks!). Oh the pretzels at the coffee bar are delish! We spent the majority of our time either on the beach or at the lower pool on the left (by the restaurant). We never had trouble find loungers and the drink servicers never missed a beat - we didn't miss having a swim up bar option. The entertainment staff does a great job with keeping it lively during the day, but aren't too pushy. The beach is gorgeous and again, plenty of loungers. The waves were rough, but super fun! The night entertainment was mixed - but we enjoyed the live music and the Piano bar best. We tried to join one wine tasting (offered every day at 1p, 3p and 5p), but they were running behind and we just didn't feel like waiting around for them to get going. Plus, we had a lot of rain during our trip so when the sun was out we wanted to be out lounging Other than a few minor mishaps, we truly loved this place and would happily return. read more

I don't care what other people say. I have been all over the world Europe, Asia, south America, UAE 'Dubai' Lad Vegas and many other, and I have to say this is one of the best hotel experience I have ever had. Entertainment team all are great specially. Silvia, Fredo, Christina, and of course Carlos ' carletoooo' . And don't forget our butler Arturo in the 22nd floor Prefered Quest floor. This hotel is not for partying . It is for relaxation and having a good time. Food is amazing, service is great, drinks are delicious. You name they have it, even if they don't have it the will bring it to you. Sea continue is soso. A lot of sea weed by you can swim in the oceam. This is the hotel belive me. read more

the hubs and I ended up here for our three year anniversary for five days and four nights. it was nothing short of awesome. it was the most modern and beautifully designed building on the strip according to my architect husband. though the entrance to the resort isn't the greatest, you forget about it the moment you step in. they greet you with warm smiles, champagne, and cold wet towels to cool yourself off. the check-in process was a little lengthy because it's an all inclusive resort... they had to explain all the perks and coupons which we appreciated. we were in a single bedroom room. it was beautiful and very updated. all the rooms have an ocean view. their bed was very comfy. housekeeping was very thorough and they checked in multiple times throughout the day to refill your mini bar and replenish anything that was used. the hotel has four gorgeous pools, bars by each pool, and is right on the beach. on the beach, they have jet skiing and parasailing. when we booked our appointment to jetski, we brought the workers beers and burgers and they let us jet ski for nearly 45 mins when we were booked for 30mins! awesome! the restaurant called nebbiolo was great. their lobster salad, seafood risotto, and veal were so so delicious! Jorge was our server and he was so accommodating! what was really awesome and convenient is that he allowed us to order food from blue water grill as well so we didn't have to move locations. thanks, Jorge! they also have a spa and it was amaaaaazing. the perfect end to the perfect vacation! we did the water lily body wrap and it was really soothing and healing for our sunburns. I can honestly say that every worker we've encountered were all so nice and so willing to help. that made our stay very pleasant. one complaint I have is that the room we checked into had a leaky shower... the water would leak out from the shower into the sink area to the WC. maintenance came on three separate occasions to seal the crack but it was never successful. we asked the first time if we can change rooms and they said no and that it'll be fixed. they finally upgraded us on our fourth day to the junior suite... wish they just changed our room in the beginning bc it was kind of annoying to pack our bags to change rooms just the day before we were supposed to leave anyway. but they also gave us a late check out so it worked out better with flight and we were able to enjoy our last day on the resort. other random things: their drinks are watered down, always ask for an extra shot on the side. their wifi is very spotty. tons of activities all day and night. this is an adult only resort. they really appreciate tips. the balconies on the 10th floor are way bigger but dirty because people may spit/spill/drip from above floors. this is a cool people resort. always book activities with a group for discounts, we asked a random couple. room service is awesome. can't take out food from restaurants. ps, they may ask you to join them for breakfast one morning as well as attend a presentation for timeshares. unless this is something you're contemplating and interested in, I would spare yourself the time and not go. it apparently took a lot longer than promised. read more

No, No! THE TRIP FROM HELL THAT KEEPS GIVING - DR. BILLS ! The hotel is very pretty. If you complain it's the last hot meal you will get! They do not have a filter on the HVAC so mold is circulating in the room. I'm allergic!!! They say all inclusive but pressure you for upgrades. When I complained about the room & smells, even tipping at 100.00 per day I was an outcast. I became afraid for my security. They refused to move us, didn't restock our bar and the last night someone put blood on our sheets. read more

I feel just like a king ..... As I should ! I would give this place 10s across the board however the food is dissatisfactory. I'm a big foodie and will the food is reminiscent of a long bad cruise. It's not horribly disgusting but it definitely isn't something to write grandma about. What makes this place is the beautiful views and the impeccable lounge and pool areas. This location was well planed and thought out and the architecture creates such a great flow. I could visit this place over and over again. The perfect little weekend getaway. For the price point everything was better than expected. The staff is extremely accommodating. read more

My friend and I stayed at Secrets the Vine from 12/05/14-12/08/14 on a girl's getaway. We both had an amazing time and we owe it all to the amazing staff at the hotel! A special thanks to Diego over at Manatee's Bar for his vast knowledge of drinks and his recommendations! He always had a smile on his face and was full of energy which made us feel like VIP's. I also have to recognize the amazing Entertainment Crew because it was thanks to them that we did not want to leave and are sure to come back as soon as possible. Stephanie our Spanish teacher and Salsa instructor, Sunday Funday with his awesome Cocktail Class, Silvia for getting us great seats at the Rodeo show and last but not least Victor and his Aqua Aerobics class (a must try!) and the most entartaining game of BINGO I ever played. These guys work very hard to make sure everyone is having a great time. They are very friendly, easygoing and make you want to participate in everything that is on schedule. The only thing I would change is the fact that there was no music at the pool areas, except during activities.
