Hello Readers, I chaperoned my grandchildren to Sector 19 for a School function K-6 and it was full of Students and adults. The Staff was very organized form checking in the students and even name tags for the adults. Sector 19 was closed for the general public for this event, They catered the event with Pizza's and Healthy fresh fruits along with chips, salsa and a warm cheese sauce that was very flavorful. The Restaurant was open for menu items and adult beverages. What stood out to me was those fresh homemade tortilla chips, I've been in many restaurants that have tortilla chips and I thought Los Compadres had the best in Bay Area until I tried Sector 19's chips they were over the top excellent with those air pockets in the chips that's unique to Los Compadres but I think these are slightly better. Please check for yourself. Also the food items being delivered to the tables looked great and plentiful as far as portions. The entire staff mostly young where TOP NOTCH ON POINT. I spoke to a few staff members and they were helpful, knowledgeable and going to College as well. I will Definitely be back and I'm bringing two friends to challenge my challenge for Best Chips. Wow! I had an amazing experience here. My 10-year-old's birthday party with about 15 kids and adults. The staff was so polite, enthusiastic and easy to work with. We felt very welcomed and in a safe environment for the kids to let loose and have a good time. The laser tag set up is also really great, with a seemingly endless array or obstacles and features and the equipment worked very well, and the referee did a great job explaining everything and running the games. The Vr setup is fun, and there's a nice (but smallish) selection of arcade games, along with surprisingly good prizes that can be redeemed with points from the games. The food was...well it was about what I expected, and just fine for a kids party, with generous portions and fast service. There's a decent beer, wine and soju selections so the grown-ups can decompress a bit. I'd very strongly recommend this clean and family owned business over one of the big chain places. Final note--yes, it is very fun to shoot your spouse and children playing laser tag. read more

We had a blast celebrating my son's 8th birthday last Saturday. I had 50 guests so they allowed me to have both party rooms at the back. I booked the laser tag party and then gave each kid $10 game card for the arcades. You also get the room for the whole 2 hours and because I had themed decorations they allowed us to decorate 30 minutes before our time slot. The staff are very helpful and attentive. We decided to venture out and try outdoor dining tonight and stumbled upon this hidden gem in downtown Hayward. They just recently opened the indoor dining portion, everything was very cleaned and very spaced out due to the COVID guidelines. Once you walk in they take your temperature and you have to sanitize your hand. We ordered the Ginger Ahi tuna salad, which was amazing!! All the flavors were on point and very refreshing. We also order the lemon pepper wings & Mac & cheese gratin with shrimp so delicious! To top it off my husband and I had there cocktails, good & refreshing. As food critics, this place did not disappoint us and we will definitely come back. After Dinner we enjoyed the laser tag and arcade area, They have an employee walking around constantly wiping down all the machines between uses. We felt very safe and had tons of fun. read more

Yummy! Please try this place. I was searching for outdoor dining and found this spot. I am looking forward to trying all the items on the menu. We had the sticky ribs and the ahi tuna salad with ginger. We shared and had more then enough to eat...easy enough to finish it all as it was so satisfying. Everything was fresh and made with care. Service was on point and they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our visit. Albeit with the limits in place by covid 19. Can't say enough about this gem. Yelpers: help keep them going as the timing of their opening coincided with the shut down. When things get back to "normal" they can open the arcade and laser tag portion of the business. Hosted my kid's 14th birthday here today. The place was clean and organized. Food was really good for a kid birthday place (we would order the pizza even without the party - it was good). Party room was spacious and clean and came with plates and utensils and drinks. Arcade was fun for the kids and they all enjoyed the prizes. They LOVED the laser tag games. We hosted our 10 year old's Birthday party here. It was so worth it , we did the Leo's Ninja Pizza Party. We added wings platter ,fruit plater, and chips and dip. The food was delicious. The whole set up made hosting a party for a group of 10 kids so easy! If you're thinking of place for a party this is a must. The staff was so helpful, I literally just had to show up with a cake and guests. The kids had a blast and seeing everyone have so much fun made it all so worth it! Such a great place to take the kids! Took my son & family as a walk in. The manager & staff were super nice. Affordable, fun, and clean. It's super hard to find places in the Bay Area to take a small family in to play lazer tag. Most places stated there had to be a party of 8 or more which would also mean to purchase an expensive party package. I was able to speak to both managers Carlo & Nick about what's the best options to purchase. Nick helped me out so much! He gave me a tour of the whole place and that's what sold us on throwing my sons 12th bday there. We didn't buy a party bundle. We just showed up and purchased the games we all wanted to play and while we were waiting on laser tag we got to hang out in the restaurant side. Waiting on laser tag to be available isn't a long wait either maybe 10-15 minutes? Love that there were a restaurant attached that we didn't have to drive somewhere else to eat. The team patiently answered all emails by responding to different question I had over multiple days. At the event, the staff was very nice and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. This is my go to place for a good cheat meal. My fave is the grilled cheese pesto sandwich with avocado. My husband hasn't been disappointed with his choices either: ribs over mashed potatoes-not fall off the bone but the sauce was good, fish tacos and fries, and the chicken sandwich. The owner always comes out and checks in with guests. Super friendly guy. Can't wait til they open up the game room and laser tag area! We've come here twice to eat outside and ordered for delivery. Rude disrespectful staff!!! I booked a session for my two kids. 10 and 4. Signed the waiver and everything. No where online does it say 5 and up for the laser tag. It says ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!! I called to see bout the rest of the attractions there and the guy on the phone asked how old are my kids. I told him he said my 4 year old isn't allowed in the laser tag it's 5 and up. I say oh I didn't know because I doesn't state that on the website. He replied well it should. I said we'll since I had no idea can I request a refund. He told me there's no refunds. I explain to him why would I pay for something that my son cannot participate in and he said that's our policy I thank him hung up called my bank to dispute it. First time here. Brought my girls and they had a blast. I like that it has its own parking. When u enter, it's very clean and fresh smell. The layout is nice. At first we didn't get welcomed from beginning, there were a few guys hanging out in front but no one offered to help and wasn't sure who worked there or if they were customers. Finally one of the guys asked if I needed help. The girls and I played laser tag, which is 15 min long. Prices was $10/person. The space inside was a maze, clean and big enough, one story. After that we played some arcades. The $10 arcade cards ran out pretty quickly as each game takes about $2. After that we ate very tasty food there. Very kind and attentive staff there. Before we left the girls wanted to try out the VR, which was fun to watch as they played. Overall, I would come back and try it again. I believe they also have birthday parties there. read more

5 stars for Karina our onsite host! We just celebrated our child's birthday a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing. Thanks to Karina! She was so warm, and so welcoming, and so absolutely attentive to us. The owners were great and very hospitable as well. Given that we spent over $1000 it was definitely a time well spent! Here's the downside, and it has nothing to do with the location, the amenities, or the facility. Unfortunately, during the logistical planning of my child's birthday, it went at first seemingly smooth. I was working with *Nick*, as much as it is disheartening for me to be transparent, I'm going to have to be because the way that I was treated by Nick in the latter process of planning my child's birthday was absolutely atrocious! in the beginning, Nick was very helpful and was actually very pleasant and sold me on the idea of having the birthday party at sector 19 however, there was a miscommunication was under the impression that we could bring outside food He confirmed that I could bring small appetizers like chips. However, five days before the scheduled date of the birthday party, I called to confirm the headcount and mentioned that we would be bringing light appetizers on top of the catering that we already ordered. to make a very long story short, Nick was extremely abrasive to me, I actually got hung up on which he claimed was because the phone died. He raised his voice and was speaking extremely aggressive to me, and on top of that, was speaking over me. I am an executive at a pharmaceutical company, and I would never dare speak to any of my colleagues, vendors, or anyone for that matter. he offered no type of solution kept consistently telling me that I was wrong and he was right, even basically offered to cancel the birthday party. After I told him how devastated I was that we couldn't bring the small appetizers rather than being solution. Nick was quick to tell me he had no problem, canceling my daughter's birthday and returning the deposit, how are you going to tell me that when we have at least 50 people coming? He was so rude and so defensive and kept on insisting that he was right and that he never miscommunicated anything to me. I kept telling him over and over to the point where I was crying that he was being extremely rude, and he was being extremely loud and yelling at me. It got so bad that I had to call my daughter's father to remedy the situation because I couldn't speak to him anymore. I was actually utilizing my daughter's birthday as a way to do a site survey of the location to possibly bring more revenue by hosting employee building activities at sector 19, which now I will never do. There is no way that I'm going to have any of my administrative assistance or colleagues for that matter try to schedule a teambuilding event with someone like Nick moderating the logistics. I would like to conclude that Nick incorrectly gave me the wrong phone number for the owner, so I couldn't call the owner before the date of the birthday party which I found coincidentally, ironic. Either way the party went without a hitch thanks to the owners and Karina. I found it amusing that Nick did not bother addressing me or my daughter's father. In fact, he must've known it was me when I arrived because he made sure to stay clear. I will say that I recommend this place for anyone's future events, but do not work with Nick!!!!!! read more

Let me start off by saying that all the times I drove by this area, I had no idea this wonderful place was here. I'm so glad I discovered my family's new hang out spot! I was able to call on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule a birthday get together for that Saturday and they were more than accommodating. My family enjoyed playing laser tag, virtual reality and the wide array of video games ( I loved the Walking Dead one!). The staff were super friendly and we enjoyed ourselves soooo much! Let me start by saying I thought the place was going to be good vibes, games, and food but unfortunately the food was not that great. Me and my family ordered a big amount of food and we had lots of issues and after looking at the pictures of the same food ours was clearly over cooked! We had two servers and one of them was very nice and helpful while the main server did not explain anything or made sure we had napkins, utensils, or water refills.. my main issue with our food was the fries being extremely crunchy and the churros were also way too crunchy. A last minute fun night out with the kids 2, 4, and 7. We had a blast! So glad we found something to do, with food, so close to home! The food was very good. The kids loved the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. I had the shrimp truck and it was delicious. There was no age limit for the laser tag (it was just us) and my 4 yo wanted to back out but they let us come in to watch and we were able to walk around as well so my son could see it wasn't scary. The vests were too heavy for my 2 yo so they gave him just the gun instead. It's nice they have accommodations like that so everyone can play. Now next time all five of us can do a family laser tag game because the 4 year old was talking about how cool it looked.The layout was impressive too! All the reviews rave about the Customer service and I can see why. After trying a couple of different places to book a birthday party for our 10 year-old, we happened upon Sector 19 by a random Google search. This was perhaps the happiest happenstance ever. Sector 19 IS AMAZING! First of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. From the booking manager to the front desk to the wait staff to the people in charge of the games - everyone checked on us and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Second, the laser tag and arcade were super fun for kids and grown-ups both - the virtual reality games were an added bonus that we didn't expect to use but enjoyed too. Third, the food was actually good - something that is unusual in kid birthday venues, but definitely appreciated. Fourth, they have grown-up drinks - a nice touch that helped the adults enjoy the party even more. 10/10. Can't wait to go again. read more

Just celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday here. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Very accommodating, friendly, fast, patient customer service. We had one person designated to our party and he was fantastic. He helped wipe down the VR equipment after each kids use and was very knowledgeable at explaining how the equipment works as well as how each and every game was played. Plus I did not have to think about how much food my party needed. Overall, an outstanding place to host a birthday party. Even the adults had fun on the VR and shooting pool in the party room. read more
