I contacted Arthur with Secured via Thumbtack. I do not live in the FW area but needed to move my daughter from south FW to Las Colinas. Arthur was courteous and full of information on our first call so I felt comfortable checking around. I checked and for the price quoted and for what I needed to be moved, he was reasonable. We secured the date (7/21) and time and he showed up a little early with his coworker. They were courteous and knew exactly what to do - not their first rodeo! They wrapped the necessary pieces and carefully moved it all. They moved us out of one place quickly and met us at the move in location promptly. They used an elevator at one location and carried everything up a flight of stairs at the second. Mind you it was 112 degrees! They were able to move a one bedroom (literally - no living room furniture but plenty of boxes) apartment in less than 2.25 hours and that includes a 40 minute drive time! Arthur and Arlon were great! Friendly, funny and hard working! Deserved a big tip and appreciated it!! I will use them again if I need to move in the DFW metroplex - hope it's not soon! I hate moving. After about 10 boxes, 3 separate truck loads, and dropping the washer on the driveway, I threw my hands up and decided it'd be in my best interest to call in some experts. Through a FB post recommendation from a lady in the neighborhood, I called Arthur's number first. He had just gotten back in town from a state-to-state move, and still took the time to walk me through everything and answer any of my questions. The phone call definitely put me at ease and had me actually looking forward to moving day. When moving day did come around, Josue and Kevin were my people. Let me tell you, if you get either one of them or both together, you are in for a treat! Not only are they friendly and personable people, both respectful as all get out, but fast and efficient too. They got my storage unit packed up, furniture wrapped, drove to the apartment, and unpacked everything within 2 hours. Absolutely perfect moving experience!
