I am very satisfied with the service I have received as a customer of Security Public Storage over the past (almost) 3 years. Laura helped me find a unit that would fit my needs, when I had no clue what size of storage I would need. She patiently showed me different unit sizes and gave me suggestions that led me to the unit I have now. I was given all the information I needed to confirm that my stuff would be secure and accessible (entrance/exit code, security camera, operating hours, etc). It helped that their rates were cheaper than other storage places I had looked at in the area and I was even offered a significant discount the first 6 months of me staying there. On top of the competitive rates, there is a moving truck available for me to use st any time. It does not cost me anything, except a refill on the gas which is completely reasonable--like renting a car, return with the same amount you left with. I've used this truck about 3 times since moving in which has saved me the burden of paying and renting a U-Haul. This truck is available to any customers, so I would recommend calling ahead to reserve the truck just in case. Besides the facility being very clean, accessible, and secure, I really like the ability to call in to pay for my storage each month. Every month I call in and my experience each month has been pleasant. They take their time, confirm my credit card information and confirm the amount I am being charged. Invoices and receipts are sent to my email and I appreciate the constant communication about abnormal operating hours and ways they are making the facility better. read more

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The facility is delightful and clean. There are carts so you can haul large loads, double-doored elevators make it extra helpful as well. I rented a small storage unit for about a year for some items that I couldn't fit in my apartment. The price was great. The staff here is really great and always helpful and welcoming. The unit I had was on the first floor inside a hallway so it didn't seem to get too hot even in the summer. The security seemed top notch and I never had any issues. If I could give negative stars I would. Gayle the owner of this facility is probably the rudest person I have ever come across. She was so condescending and disrespectful. I have used other storage facilities in the past and they were cleaner, more organized and much more courteous to their customers. Gayle acted like she was doing us a huge favor by letting us store our belongings here. The staff is friendly and contacted me once when my husband forgot to lock the unit (they are not allowed to lock it for us) and once when my bill was late and was about to incur late fees. The units are clean and reasonably priced. I got a good deal for the first three months, then the women in charge informed me of other ways to keep saving each month. I like the Management of Josh and Jessica. However, ever since the current company had taken over, we see rent increases every 6 to 8 months. I am a long time customer and expected to be treated more favorably. Their business model is faceless and does not care about customer loyalty. At a time of flat inflation, such increases, or as they call them "adjustments" have no ground in increased cost. Their algorithms for rent adjustment run to what the market will bare without considering any human factors. Too bad. It seems that eventually the low starter rate is quickly recovered and then you are placed on the path of more or less regular rent increases. read more

I really believe this place is a "SUCURE" option for your belongings. The older couple who care for the place very apparently take pride in their management of the place, but also of their process of guarding it while they live on site. Very happy with their ability to work with me on a price I can afford(at least for a promotional period). Its temporary anyhow. Honesty from other storages was absent when getting quotes, as in, upon contract time...turns out most other storage companies required adding Insurance $15ish/mo to the rent. This place considers it an included bennefit with their rent. They do have a higher in price then average, but included insurance and confidence of your belongings being protected, their old school business mentality all make up for it. read more

Laura seems to be the only friendly staff. Sometimes the staff is not friendly at all and you are made to feel you are inconvenienceing them. When you work with the public you should be more friendly and helpful than be inconvenienced because you have to get a key for the cart. \ In the beginning, everyone was very nice (approx 3 yrs ago) and helpful.......but the staff seems to change every other day. They just don't seem very happy so maybe its the owner they are not happy with. read more

It has now been a month since I finalized my relationship w/this place. During that time, I have reviewed my options for righting so many basic business customer service wrongs. The first one being - refunding me the half of the month I'm owed, since I left their establishment on the 14th. What bothers me the most is that this shyster company doesn't give a flip that it causes its customers unnecessary grief, stress, and aggravation by their dubious business practices!!! There are just sooooo many wrongs w/this company, it's difficult to know where to start! From the messiness of their property (one of the last times I was there, I used the restroom in the main office - because that's the only one available, even though you have to drive up to it and exit the gate to get to it, if your unit is located in the back of the property - and could not believe the condition the restroom was in......akin to a run down gas station restroom!.....to the poor condition of the unit I rented and was promised by the idiot then call Josh that it would be cleaned by the time I moved my things in - 2 DAYS LATER.....INCOMPETENT LIAR THAT HE IS!!!) to the unadulterated, pure greed of the owners of this shit hole - that mandatory clause that you must have insurance on the unit you rent and oh, if you don't, well they'll gladly help you out by selling you their insurance, which is NOTHING MORE THAN GRAFT in their greedy little pockets - to the constant price increases!!!! There is not a doubt in my mind that the four and five star reviews here were written because the staff gives their customers money off their next rent payment if customers write a good review for them! I know this because I was asked to do that by the idiot they call Josh! There are just way too many other storage units around Orange County. I urge you to do your research before committing to any of then, but definitely DO NOT CHOOSE SECURITY PUBLIC STORAGE!! You will not only be saving money, but be saving yourself from a whole lot of unnecessary grief, stress, and aggravation!!! Security Public Storage, I am here to tell you that you HAVE NOT heard the last of me!!! YOU WILL end up paying me much more than the half month refund you owe me!!! read more
