Ive had a small unit with security public storage since I moved to california over 2 years ago. They are always so friendly and never jacked up my rate. The facility is always clean and easy for me to access, but secure. I never have to worry about my things when they are stored with security public storage. I went to three other storage places and was seriously horrified. Glad I found this place. It's clean, bright, well maintained, professional & courteous. Yes, it's $10 more per month than similar units elsewhere, but well worth it. Look no further, just rent here, especially if you're a female. I went to "Extra Storage" on Warner Ave; and if the smell & filth wasn't enough, the guy who showed me the unit seemed to be high on speed. It scared me. I felt very safe here. And comfortable coming here in the evening alone. I didn't feel that way about the other places I looked out. Well worth the extra $10..... and then some. read more

Better than most other storage places I had shopped in the area. The staff is friendly, the specials make for good rates, units are individually alarmed, and they even give a discount for writing reviews (computer in the lobby for you to do so.) Just pray nothing happens to your unit that keeps you from accessing it. Like their re-sealing the floors outside and sealing your gate shut in the process. They will wring their hands of it with a smile on their face and give no consideration for your troubles. Other than that, you could do Far worse, especially at the big national brands. Beat deal in town. These guys have a great selection of units to pick from (the place is HUGE) and the best prices around. I've had 2 units here over several years and remain a happy customer. And the service is great most of the time. I took one star off for 2 reasons: This past year (2015) they had an elevator problem which didn't get fixed for several weeks. I had to move a refrigerator by travelling through several doors and hallways to get to the next closest elevator. Not cool. One Sunday (4/24/16) I had to wait over a half-hour for the lone employee to return from a break so I could get my ID back from the office. The sign said be back in 5 minutes. Terrible business. They told me that if I need to cancel my lease agreement then I would get the prorated amount back for the time that I didn't use. THEY LIED TO ME. They refusee to give me a refund on the time I had left and now I am out $300. BUYER BEWARE. These people WILL NOT honor their refund policy. After Isabel invested more than 20 minutes discussing my needs, taking me out and showing me a couple units, doing the paper work etc. I had the cash in hand ready for the final step of paying for 2 months when...her phone rang. Instead of asking the caller to be placed on a brief hold while she finished up with a customer in front of her or getting their number to call them right back, she continued her lengthly phone interview process with the caller. After a few minutes I asked if she could place them on hold and finish up with me first. She did place them on hold only to tell me she would be with me shortly then she continued the call! When she finally got off the phone she informed me that it was their "policy" to help phone customers first! When I tried explaining what poor customer service that was she interrupted me reiterating "that was their policy"! I asked for my ID back and walked out! I returned later to retrieve the paperwork realizing it had all my identity theft info on it and Josh (mgr.) confirmed that indeed they handle calls to their conclusion first and let customers in the office they had already started with cool their heels so to speak. Deal breaker in customer service in my book. There are many other storage facilities in the area. I am going back to Extra Space on Warner where carts are available after office hours and you don't have to leave your ID and get a key to unlock them. Also, not sure but it seems like people are staying in the RV's you might want to check or be extra careful. read more
