Since my negative review in 2022 I have had an opportunity to revisit this facility and I do still believe it is one of the best storage places in the area. Management is super friendly and accommodating. I actually have three units at this time and the prices can't be beat. Facility and secure and clean and I feel safe even at night when I am there. They have great hours, support local business, and offer coffee, tea and candy. I think I was just having a bad year and let that affect my outlook because I was late with my payment and I signed the rules and regulations, so I take blame for my negative experience and wanted to update my review to reflect my support and gratitude to management at Security Public Storage. read more

My husband and I had originally plan to rent a storage space over at Public Storage on Arnold Drive in Martinez. However, when we found out about Security Public Storage, we felt this facility was a better choice because we like knowing the facility is gated, clean, and its bigger which allows a lot of availability for those who need to rent a storage space based on their desired size. Also, the staff...especially Alex whom we often communicated with...have been very accommodating. They are top-notch folks. I'm so done with this place raising their fees so frequently, I believe it's every 6 months. I get raising rates appropriately but you guys raise your rates so much and so high that it is horrible. I put my name on a list a year ago for a smaller unit to save money but I've heard nothing back. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place. They suck you in with a very low rate, then they sick it to you. I'm so busy working otherwise I would get my stuff out of there. That is my goal the next few months. Whoever said Customer Service and Attention to Detail are dead, have obviously not met "The Kings" (Paul and Gail) who manage this storage facility. They really are two of the nicest people I have ever met and every time I go there we end up chatting about everything. It feels like they truly care and remember our conversations from the previous time. It may not seem like a big deal to some but to me that means A LOT! Last time I was in they were showing me their Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month award and I was not surprised at all that they were chosen. They really do take pride in their work and it shows. The facility and the prices are great as well, very clean and secure with lots of sizes to pick from.
