Today we celebrated my grandma's birthday at the Sedona Taphouse in Chester, and it was our first time visiting this location. Everything was amazing! I ordered the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a relaxed, chill atmosphere that made it a great place to celebrate with family. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Hannah T! She was incredible. She took excellent care of our party of 15, stayed friendly and attentive the entire time, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. The next time I visit, I'll definitely be requesting Hannah as my waitress. She made an already great meal an even better experience. We've been here twice and it was great both times. It is one of those places where items cost a little bit more than they normally do but the quality makes it worth it. This visit as we came in at 10PM and took some seats at the bar. We were greeted by Holly and Quan. We are staying at a hotel across the way and had some sweatshirts and cozy clothes on and didn't get any weird looks. They treated us really well. They were attentive and didn't let us fall between the cracks even as they were closing. Service was a 11/10. The food was good. We got the seared Tuna app and the Thai shrimp. The tuna was good and cooked how I like it and the sauce was great. The Thai shrimp was cool, almost like a hot salad, the greens were very delicious. For our mains we got a Cesar salad and a salmon+ Asparagus salad. I got a side of Brussel sprouts and broccoli. The Cesar was nothing impressive but the salmon salad looked and tasted as if it was the middle of the day. Awesome quality on the salmon salad, the Cesar, was nothing spectacular but for last minute it was great. Would do it again. Holly and Quan ROCKED!! read more

The picture below says everything you need to know except that it was $40 absolutely disgusted with them. -and this is the second time that we have gotten takeout where the host is are the least friendliest people and not helpful at all. Came into Sedona at 620pm to grab dinner...after heading to the bar and being seated, I waited 5 minutes just to be acknowledged - grabbed an ice tea and waited over 15 minutes to again be acknowledged to order dinner...which never happened. No one even came over and refilled my ice tea...so yeah, this was a horrible experience. I'd stay as far away from this place as possible. If you're not going to acknowledge your patrons at the bar, then what's the point of even coming into the restaurant in the first place. read more

Staying at the hotel across the parking lot...ordered takeout later in the evening, so I give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to food quality. However, the grilled chicken was over cooked, dry, tough and had an excessive amount of burned char. Got the chicken with a side of grapes and apples, half the grapes were mushy and the "apples" was one normal slice that was then sliced down so thin I could almost see through it. Not exactly what I had pictured. Side of broc was really good and extra side of fries was also really great. Also strange you couldn't order drinks to go through the website. I'll stay at the same hotel again for business in the future and would give this place another shot, but won't try the chicken. Looked like a really great place inside, I was even tempted to sit outside on this chilly night because they had a big fire ripping on the patio. read more

Hey Guys so it was my mother's 69th birthday, my brother flew in just to see her so we wanted to make it extra special and picked the new location for Sedona Taphouse in Chester! I called to make reservations but at this time they only take call aheads which is just letting them know in advance a big party was coming in. With it being newly open I didn't mind and we did that and showed up at 7.. Please leave out in advance this location is hard to find and off road. Entering it's spacious, and beautifully decorated. We were promptly seated by a friendly hostess and I believe told we were going to have two wait staff but only one came to table which was fine because he honestly did a great job! With us being a big party we went ahead and placed drinks, apps and main orders right away expecting it to take awhile.. 20 minutes in we never received our waters to the table but I look over and see 3 staff members just chatting it up so I nicely interrupted and asked if someone could bring out waters as we also had children in our party then we had more then enough help bring ours out. On to the food appetizers we did the crab flatbread and crab stuffed mushrooms. Mushrooms delicious but I have to admit I was expecting more on a plate for $14(see picture below). However the Chuckawalla Chicken was the best thing I have had in a long time and worth every penny! Everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their meals as well. Absolutely recommend the Crab Stuffed Shrimp as well.. chefs kiss! To keep it easy with such a big party we had the check combined and put all on 1 card, I was gifted two $10 gift cards I was going to apply to my bill that was over $250 then I was told it can only be used at the main headquarter locations not the franchises. That was very disappointing considering how much money was spent. Considering the delays in service from just getting waters to our food it would have been a nice gesture on the management side. Went here last night with some friends and we were all disappointed. We ordered drinks from the bar which came out rather quickly, but we had to ask multiple times for our waters and also an iced tea. The wait was not too long between ordering and receiving our food but my burger, that I ordered medium well came out medium rare and my fries were lukewarm. My friend had to ask multiple times for various condiments and she didn't get her flatbread until the end of the meal, again after asking about it multiple times, when she ordered it as an appetizer. read more

My husband and I went to the Sedona Taphouse last evening for our wedding anniversary. I wanted to tell you about our experience. These people made us feel so welcome . The location is nice. I imagine when it gets warm that outdoor patio they have will be beautiful. The interior decor was great. Loved the wall mounted fireplaces. Our waiter, Kwan was wonderful, he was very personable and attentive. The food was delicious. Try their spicy Thai shrimp , wow! We really enjoying our drinks and meals. The manager came around to check on us and to wish us happy anniversary. When it was time to settle up and go home, Kwan surprised us with a special dessert from the manager for our anniversary. Food was amazing I got the Land and Sea meal with mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes fries. The steak was seasoned very well and everything tasted great as always the stuffed shrimp were the best thing ever. This is a rather new Sedona and I just wanna say the ambiance was one of the best in the area from the setup to the people it was great. We had an amazing server she was quick and polite and seemed excited to serve us. This will definitely be our new go to location. read more

Jalaine was our server. No doubt, she was hustling, taking care of many tables, but never missing a step. The food, oh my!! My husband had the Chicken Tortilla Soup, NY Steak with spinach and garlic whipped potatoes. I had Roman Parmesan Crusted Chicken with asparagus and garlic whipped potatoes. We don't usually order dessert but with the entrees being so delicious, we ordered Granny Smith Apple Pie and my favorite, Crème Brûlée. Desserts were fabulous. As we roll ourselves out of Sedona's, we have made a commitment to come back again one day. When we spoke to the manager, although polite, he didn't seem to appreciate compliments that the service staff and food were exceptional. Hopefully he is professional enough to make sure those working for him are told they do a great job. You can't keep people working for a business when they don't get feedback - good or bad. The brussels sprouts are great. I had them in Colonial Heights and they stink, but they're great here every time. The food is always good, and they've always got cold Falcon Smash. The bar tender was great too. I believe her name was Tatiana. She also let me know that they now sell Falcons Smash four packs in the 24 ounce cans. read more

We just left the most horrendous dining experience in any restaurant we've ever had. Planned dinner with a couple we rarely get to see and since they'd never gone to a Sedona we chose this one. BIG MISTAKE! We were seated in a four table room which would have been ideal had it not been for the obnoxious table with six rude, loud, disrespectful women who should never have been allowed to eat in any public dining establishment. The hostess brought back another couple and they got up and were moved to another table. I realize this is no fault of the restaurant chain, but after numerous complaints to our server, she should have taken it upon herself to contact a manager. She kept apologizing because she knew how disgusting their behavior was, but she didn't. We made our feelings known when we left to the front desk and she apologized profusely, and said she'd call the manager to speak to them, but it was too late - the damage was done. It's unfathomable to me that human beings can be so disrespectful of other people. Anyway thanks for letting me vent and I'm sorry to say, highly improbable I'll ever set foot thru your door again! read more

What a disappointment! There were 4 of us for dinner and the restaurant was not busy. There were many empty tables around us. While our food was okay, the service was horrible! First it took our server 10-15 minutes to even show up at our table, when she finally arrived she took our drink order and it took her forever to come back with our water. She actually delivered our husbands' beers before she brought water. Then she disappeared again. After 15 minutes we had to ask someone to find her so we could order food. When the food finally came the chicken on my salad was nice cold and dry as if it had been reheated multiple times. We had asked for a few condiments at the food drop off. It was a 10-15 minutes before we saw her again. So there I sat with food that needed to be returned while The rest ate their food without requested items. When she finally returned I told her the problem. She took my food to get a remake, but clearly there was no rush. The rest of the table finished their food before the manager returned with my plate and while the chicken was clearly fresh and warm, we were just annoyed at that point. It also took her forever to come back and get our checks. The servers in this place need some lessons on timeliness. We do love the layout of this Sedona much better than the others as it is not as loud, but if they don't improve the service, it's not going to last long. It should not take two hours. The manager did offer us a $10 gift card for the bad salad, but that's hardly compensation for a $70 ticket. The salad alone was $21. read more

excellent food, waiter and greeters. however the manager only engaged with white customers and no persons of color. this manager is an older man with dark colored hair and a grumpy face and kinda looks like walter matthau. he would only check on white families and when i engaged him he informed me that the side of the room that i was on was not his responsibilty. however he managed to ask people in the both in front and back of us if they needed anything and would skip over the black families and speed off until he made his circle again. after i had words with him he would fly by to avoid me and the other black familes that overheard the complaint. never had a problem with this chain before but i look forward to seeing this guy again. this all happened on 12/5/25. there was another manager, white gentleman and very good at his job, his hair was silver/ gray in color....................excellent at making sure no one needed anything. read more
