I gave them a call as soon as I left the doctors office and they were able to get me in the same day. I had to make a few phone calls back and forth to get the orders sent over to them but they answered on the first ring every time and helped walk me through the whole process of getting the correct orders faxed over. I as able to avoid the hassle of dealing with an insurance authorization and just paid out of pocket the same day, $550 flare rate is much less than what my insurance would have made me pay out of pocket. The entire site staff was so friendly and Christine and Lexie really went above and beyond to help guide me and get me in on the same day. 10/10! I hope I don't need another MRI anytime soon, but if I do, I know where I'm going!

As a nurse and healthcare leader within MUSC, I understand that healthcare professionals have demanding jobs. However, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy, compassion, and professionalism that was displayed, particularly when caring for young children and interacting with concerned parents. When I asked why a hemoglobin test was necessary, my intention was simply to understand whether a finger stick could be avoided for my already distressed 12-month-old. Rather than providing an explanation or acknowledging my concern, I was told, "I don't know, every baby gets it done at 12 months." The response felt dismissive, and her demeanor suggested that my question was unreasonable, despite it being a straightforward request for information about my child's care. Later, I requested a copy of my son's vaccination records because he was preparing to start daycare. After receiving the records, I asked whether the vaccines administered during that day's visit had been included. In response, she appeared irritated and replied, "I just told you they are updated records." Again, the interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive. Most concerning was the complete lack of compassion shown toward my son while he was visibly upset during the finger stick and vaccinations. Pediatric care requires not only clinical competence but also patience, kindness, and reassurance for both children and their parents. Prior to this visit, I have had consistently positive experiences with Neighbors Pediatrics and have always appreciated the care provided by the clinical staff and providers. Unfortunately, this encounter stood in stark contrast to those experiences and left a lasting negative impression. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future families do not have a similar experience.

She was very professional, ensured all of my questions were answered prior to my appointment, and she was very timely in getting back to me. It was nice to finally meet her on the day of my appointment. The MRI technician, Judith, was also very professional and kind during the day of my visit. I was nervous about my scan because I expected to be going in feet first instead of head first. Unfortunately, I had to go in head first (FYI, you can't go in feet first at that facility apparently), and my scan lasted approximately one hour. I told her I was nervous about this, and she ensured me that she would keep me comfortable. Judith agreed to talk to me and check in with me throughout the procedure, which she did. This made me feel so much more comfortable and at ease during the experience. She also made sure I was comfortable inside the machine, chatted with me about my dog, and kindly burned me a CD copy of my scan to keep on record. Overall, I highly recommend Charleston Imaging Center for any of your imaging needs. If I ever need imaging in the future, I will definitely go here. I came from 5 hours away in North Carolina. The drive was worth it, and I would do it again.

I called back and requested one be faxed. She informed me my child had already came back in to retrieve one. Which was impossible, since my child was riding with me. She explained to me she was too busy with a patient to do it now. She would do it later. That's the same thing she told me when I entered the building for the first time. But it gets better. The fax never was sent. So once again I called in and was told it would be done by another person.It never happened. I called in again, and spoke with her once more, and she said she was busy with a patient and would call me back. I called once again and with a rasp voice she handed over the phone to a gentlemen. He tried to fax, technical errors first try. Which he called me. Technical errors I understand. I sent him a fax, and he received. So he re faxed and it was successful. The only issue here is one female desk receptionist with a bad attitude and a constant response of I'm busy with a patient, whether your their or on the phone. But in her defense, she doesn't just target one person. She's a joyful basket of sunshine for everyone. Not! Also I'm adding that the young gentlemen did call and confirm I received the fax, and he was courteous. His counterpart could learn a lot from him.

This was my first pregnancy and I didn't know what questions to even think about asking. I decided to continue going as maybe it was just one bad experience. We went back for the next appointment and they made my fiancé leave the room, I understand why this is done, but for a girl who felt no connections to anyone in this office and didn't want him to leave, it felt like they were forcing him out. It made him feel less of a part of the pregnancy as well. I know from switching that there are better ways to establish with a patient that they are in a healthy/happy relationship. I switched to MUSC & had a great experience. It is now almost a year from my appointments at LowCountry and a bill shows up (keep in mind, I paid at every appointment). I got billed twice for "96127 Brief Emotional/Behav Assmt." I called for clarification on what this was and the number on the bill isn't even registered to their billing department. So I call the office, the lady who answers was kind, pulled the bill up, and attempted to explain it as the sheet we fill out in the office and the doctor recommending a therapist to me. I told her I never had anything emotional or behavior concerns and no one was recommended to me and she continued to say "it's just the sheet" so i clarified and said "so i filled the sheet out twice?" and she followed up with "it's just insurance billing because we have to bill for that sheet." At this point, I am paying the bill and going to be done. If you want quick care with no connections and hidden fees, this would be a place for you. However, I was looking for a doctor to feel comfortable with and who cared enough to listen and educate me, as well as allowing my partner to be involved. This office is just looking at how much they can charge for every service provided and then don't even give their office enough knowledge and training to explain the bill when people ask. I, personally, wouldn't recommend either office to anyone.

The staff that I have encountered in the chemo department are all very professional and nice. The large room is divided into cubicles; each with a television, a plush-comfy chair for the patient, a chair for one visitor, and a small cubby for personal items. The entire building has free wifi. The parking lot is cramped, and since they are very busy, it can be extremely hard to find a parking space! That would be my only complaint (so far). It's not a place you want to visit, and I sincerely hope no one reading this does! Rest assured that you or your loved one will be well taken care of.

This office basically do Bone Marrow biopsies, needed in order to find out how healthy the production of blood cells in your body is by taking a sample of the bone marrow from the hip bone. Also to determine if cancer has migrated to the bone marrow. Procedure takes about 5 minutes but prepping takes 2 hours and recovery only one hour. All professionals that work here are very caring. Doctors and nurses are an example here, so anyone else coming here be confident things will go in the right direction with first class attention to details and knowing that these people know what they are doing with the latest in technology and state of the art equipment. For such a delicate procedure to take only 5 minutes they really use the latest equipment, don't let the age of this building fool you to think otherwise.

She asked me where all I was concerned about. I told her I wanted my lower belly fat gone, and the fat under my butt to be less so my butt would stick out more. She said that the "banana roll" is what they call the under the butt fat, and mine is muscular. No need to coolsculpt there, she said. I did sign up for coolsculpting my lower belly fat tho. Best decision I've made this decade. My lower belly fat is significantly less fat looking than it used to be. I'm 200 pounds, but my belly looks like it did when I was 140 pounds. I highly recommend this service. While coolsculpting, I decided I wanted to talk to someone about my acne scars. Bri brought in Amanda, who recommended microneedling for my old acne scars. I'm here for my second round of microneedling today. It hurts a little, kind of similar to getting waxed in that it hurts for a little while but has great benefits that outweigh the pain. It feels like a deep exfoliation. She uses a pen looking thing to stab me a bunch of times with a bunch of little microneedles! She numbs my skin prior to the treatment. The hardest part is not wearing makeup for 2-3 days after microneedling. I have already seen a reduction in my wrinkles. I hope to see more of a reduction in my acne scars after this session. Amanda said sometimes it takes two sessions to see results. I paid for 3 up front. You get a deal by paying for your sessions all at once instead of one at a time. This place has a lovely atmosphere. At that next appointment we did add a tiny bit of filler but I didn't need much. The filler has made such a natural but noticeable improvement to my face shape. I did not have much of an upper lip before and the filler looks soo natural! I could not be more grateful! They are transparent about pricing and they do have monthly specials.
