We were immediately greeted with a smile and offered samples. She also took the time to answer all of our questions regarding allergies and ingredients; and she gave great recommendations as well! Horrible service. It's been a very long time since I've felt service that shouldn't even qualify for a 1 star. They judge apparently by the way you're dressed I'm guessing, because going in casually, I waited to try their samplers and they obnoxiously and very rudely put them away when I waited behind everyone else who got them. When asking for help I was rudely ignored- and staff continued to chit chat amongst themselves. We typically buy see's candies for doctors and staff, but I will no longer be supporting this location. After my eldest daughter and I had a yummy lunch at YGF Malatang in Chino Hills, we walked over to this See's Candies that happens to be right next door... luckily, not too far of a walk LOL. Did I ever mention I love See's Candies? It was my all time favorite chocolate candy in my early adulthood. It still is actually. I prefer milk chocoate over dark chocolate, but if the selection only comes in dark chocolate, I will still get it in dark chocolate. Hey, it's still chocolate LOL! Upon entry, we were greeted right away by the staff. There were a few ladies behind the counter. It's not a very big shop compared to other See's Candies that I have been to. Pre-packaged candy boxes were available. There were other assortments of candies as well. They had a rotating rack full of greeting cards... this is a nice touch especially for the customers who buy a box of chocolates for loved ones and they need a card to go with it. Good thinking See's! There was another rack with small pre-packaged bags of various chocolates... this is nice, too, in case customers don't want to wait in line to choose their chocolates... of course, selections on this rack may be limited. I didn't get the pre-packaged box, but if I did, I would go with Nuts & Chews which is my favorite. Line wasn't too bad. While we were in line, a lady offered us a free sample chocolate... this has always been See's tradition as far back as I can remember. Thank you See's! When it was our turn, I chose my go-to chocolates... pecan bud, almond bud, milk almond, caramel, rum nougat, dark nougat, and scotchmallow. As for the rum nougat, I wasn't sure if it was the one I usually get. The lady was kind to offer me another free sample so I can confirm and it was the one. Thank you miss! Staff was extremely pleasant and nice. Service was impeccable. Store was clean and organized. Price has gone up per lb, but what hasn't so it's all good. Every See's visit always bring me joy. I never realized there was a See's Candies in this shopping center until today. Upon entering, the bright white lights and the chocolaty aroma of the shop brought back memories. As a kid, I remember going to the mall with my mom and sisters and having to stop in to pick up some candy. (Also for their complimentary chocolate samples). lol Today, we got a can of Almond Royal and 2 boxes of "Little Pops". (OMG, they taste JUST like they did when I was younger) ! :) From the smells, yummy chocolate samples, to the friendly service, it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunate is all I can say. I stopped in here with my daughter and grandchild. We were looking to get some chocolates for gifts to our physicians. However, we were not greeted and ignored our entire visit. The people working here stopped and spoke to other guests asking if they needed any help but we were always skipped over. We tried to get assistance, but to no avail. Other guests were offered samples and again we were skipped over. This is a great location. I usually buy boxes of chocolates to give as gifts. The employees and manager are all friendly. The manager once gave me some free chocolates and I appreciated that. I love dark chocolates! I came here to buy sweet anniversay treats. You can get pre-made candies boxes or create your own custom boxes such as as truffles, milk chocolate to dark chocoloates with or without nuts, white chocolate and seasonal items. They also have candy section as well. I got half pound of dark chocoloate with walnuts (about 9 pieces). They beautifully wrap it too. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and sweet! They always provide best service. They always provide free samples during your shopping or at the end of your purchase. I would love to see if this store can create a reward program. I know there are stores that offer work related discounts, but not at this location. I will definitely be coming back for other sweets or seasonal offering. read more

I usually come here once every 3 weeks. The other day I came they were rolling out there gondola for Valentine's Day. Lori was super cool. She gave me some nice samples and made the store all nice and clean after asking if I could take a few photos. They have great gift baskets and boxes and always have really good candy. Lori was really nice and we talked about different types of licorice and chocolates. This store is right near sprouts and worth coming here to buy for your sweet tooth or fet a gift. You can also order online (see my photo) There was a small social distancing line outside just taking turns to place orders since it was it busy phone line & felt fair for the calls to go in order of the queue 2. See's will fulfill your order 3. After fulfillment, See's will callback for payment. Credit card or gift card only I'm a little frustrated here. I placed my order for 1 bag of chocolate coins, was told to wait & then 2 women behind me placed orders AND paid, AND shortly picked up the order while I'm still waiting for call back to pay! I don't get it... at a point, an employee while giving an order helped me out. 4. They'll come outside to a roped out area to confirm your name, order & place the bag on the table. Then you can take your order once they go back in Again, disappointed cuz if the have a system it should go in order. Why have me wait to give payment, then take payment from orders placed after me. I would try to work it out with the business, so I mentioned my disappointment. However, I was told that the women picking up their orders after me placed their orders before me. I mean, there were 2 other women (ok this pandemic is having all us females craving chocolates LOL) that picked up but I saw them place their order before me as well. I mean, I even waited for their calls to compete to make my own call. Again, the "line cutting" was done committed by customers but See's themselves. One woman, whom I helped with the process felt bad when they took her CC info & she picked up her order while I was still waiting for the call. After a quick look on their website it seems like a lot of Anniversary commemorative tins are already selling out, and there will be special flavors each month, and even the chance for customers to vote for a new flavor starting February 15th on the website! I am a long time customer of this location and have always received great service. Enter social distancing etc. into the mix and this review is for December 2020. See's Candies (employee: Bianca) rose to the challenge and provided excellent service during Christmastime. An attempt to place an online order through Sees.com proved to be a non solution since many of their hand select packed boxes were limited in choices, and were more expensive. *Pro Tip: (as of Dec. 2020) to avoid the store lines and in store visit during social distancing: I purchased See's Candies gift cards from Costco, saved money (2 $25 gift cards for $38.99 which is enough for 2 lbs of chocolate), phone ordered hand selected packed boxes, drove up, called the store, and received my order outside. I almost felt guilty when I saw the line of people waiting to go into the store, but you could not have paid me to wait in that line! I remembered to write this review when I drove by yesterday and saw the line of people waiting to buy Valentine's Day treats. *Alternatively, if you don't go the Costco route and don't want hand selected packed boxes and still want the ease of shopping on line and picking up without waiting in line, Sees.com has a "Click Pick and Go" option (if you scroll down on their main page it is towards the bottom) to pay on line with credit card or gift card and pick up in store without waiting in line. We live in Corona, but our See's has remained closed through Covid times. My kids (3 of them plus one best friend of theirs) and I were so happy to learn the Chino Hills one is open! It was super easy to order pick up and could see what we wanted (pre-packaged milk and dark chocolate stars and lollipops covered by beach balls) through the window.
