Of all the See's Candies in the world, this and only 1 other are my absolute favorites. Walking into See's Candies brings back whiffs of childhood nostalgia, from days of when my parents owned a coffee shop in a Californian mall, and I was a designated "mall girl" who could get all the free samples to my grubby kid fingers' content. What makes this See's Candies as equally rivaled to the one from my childhood? Simply Liza. Liza is the best See's Candies connoisseur. Somehow I can walk into See's not wanting to buy anything, and she'll convince my fat conscience otherwise. If it's not getting candy for myself, she'll get me to buy candy as gifts for others. And it's not because she's pushy. It's because she's genuinely nice and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and that makes me want to buy chocolate. She takes the time to explain to me all the assortments of delicacies in the shop. She even offers great tips. Like the time she told me that the raspberry cream tastes like ice cream when frozen. While See's may offer samples, Liza is the only one who chooses just the perfect sample for me to try for the visit. Every time I see Liza, I leave See's Candies happy and with a bag full of chocolate. Now that I'm a Vegas resident, this is always the See's Candies that my spouse and I go to. There are still so many flavors we have yet to try. We will conquer that shiny display case visit by visit. read more

Their delivery suck's. Shipment was in transit the 21st. On the 21st ir then went to chandler, AZ, the Compton California for a delivery in Las Vegas, NV. It is now 12/28 and stills shows in transit, not out for delivery. I ordered on the 17th and I was told if I ordered the ready made packaging it would arrive by 12/24. Love this place! Chocolate is always good and they have some really fun seasonal favorite including white chocolate mint at Christmas. So yum. I had a fellow reviewer point out that I had only given a 3/5 on previous review. I'm not sure why since I love chocolate and they have sooooo much. I must have had sticky toffee fingers, so I decided to update my review. Come in for a sample anytime. Buy prepackaged boxes or make your own boxes too. Generally the service is good and friendly. Excellent customer service! I went in to the store to get a gift for a friend. The girl behind the counter was incredibly helpful. She also offered me samples. I had to limit myself :) She told me which were the more popular choices, and helped me to customize a 1lb box. She also gift wrap wrapped the box. It was a nice sized box all for under $20. Also she informed me that if my friend didn't like some of the choices she could bring them in and exchange them for other choices. Incredible customer service. Well everyone knows that candy is amazing but I wanted to give a shout out to Diane for her wonderful service today!! She was so cheerful and knowledgeable she really brightened my day and took away all my guilt for eating all the extra calories in candy!! Stop by and ask for her by name. I'm sure she will brighten your day as well!! Also I never tried their dark chocolate because she convinced me to try it (I don't like dark chocolate) and I am a fan now of only Sees dark chocolate! She answered all my questions, she didn't rush me with my selections and offered samples of candy if I wasn't sure of the kind of candy. She went above and beyond to help me and others in the store. See's Candy at Galleria Mall Should be ashamed of itself. Only one person working the counter on Valentine's Day while the 2 other workers were taking out trash and handing out samples. I'm sure they have some sort of corporate policy in handing our samples, but really...I got in line at 5:06, with about 8-10 people in front of me. It took an hour just to get to the front of the line. And prior to that there were 2 employees sent home because their shift was over. Poor management and use of resources. As far as cute shops and a decent presentation sees chocolates seems like a nice little idea Anyone who knows me personally knows that I particularly have a fun Ness of chocolate since I was a child and I do have a history of working with chocolate and I have visited the chocolate capital of Belgium and literally made stops in Paris London Brussels and bought extra suitcases just to bring back specialty chocolates that you can definitely not finding United States I am not a connoisseur of chocolate but I'm the closest thing you'll ever find to it In my opinion I believe that sees chocolate is a step above Palmer Easter candy and the kind of chocolates that you would get in a drugstore The chocolate is very bland and subdue to me and the reason I give it to stars was because of customer service and cleanliness of the boutiques I would never insult anyone with a box of sees candy's as a gift I know many people like it but these are also people that know nothing about chocolate I could literally work in the store and not touch a piece for weeks The driver has gone downhill significantly but I will tell you one thing I believe that her she's is actually better than sees candies read more

Yes, the free samples are wonderful but the quality of the candyis consistently top quality. Their candies filled with cream are especially good when compared to other candy stores and their prices are fair when contrasted with other lesser quality yet more pricey options from the competition. Although I do sneak in every once and awhile at other times of the year holiday seasons are a must visit. Employees always seem to be happy and attentive. BONUS: Knowing how hot it gets in Vegas during the summer it is a treat to walk into this store since the A/C is cranking something serious as to be expected when chocolate is on display. Last I heard Berkshire Hathaway (of Warren Buffet fame) owns See's. Keep up the great work See's! read more

Is life like a box of chocolates? I would say yes. Many different choices and variety, but after a while it just becomes bland and boring. To me when it comes to chocolate shops, it's the customer service that draws me in. Every shop might have different kinds of chocolate and fillings, but overall it's all the same to me. I really enjoy this location. I was greeted by both ladies there. I was specifically looking for their St. Patty's special called the Irish Potato. My luck they were out. The lady behind the counter check another location for me which sadly they were out as well. To make things better she put up 5 different samples of chocolates which I told her I didn't need all of that. She told me take them anyways. It was overall a very nice experience. Every time I step inside a See's candy store I reminisce from back in the day, when I use to pick up their suckers that were 3 for 25 cents! Other than prices, very little has changed with See's store. This one in our mall has the same white/black color scheme running throughout from the checked flooring up to the employees uniforms. During the busy candy seasons this tiny store is packed but at least they are pretty organized and efficient the wait time is not long at all. They also will offer you a chocolate...not a chocolate fan??..well they'll still offer you a candy,like butterscotch, white chocolate, pumpkin. My husband passed up on a piece, so I was going to have his, but the candy lady offered my husband the pumpkin filled white chocolate. Darn it! But hey at least they are considerate right? It's always such a big treat to receive a box of chocolate, especially ones from here. read more

See's is one of our guilty pleasures around here, and the staff at the Galleria location is getting to know me perhaps a little too well. I come here for one thing. Truffles. Caramels and nut clusters will end up in the 2 lb box from time to time, but it's all about the truffles. Service: Flawless, each time, every time. Selection: Haven't found anything else that comes close without paying 2x as much or paying to ship it in. (It's not JuJu Chocolates from Container Park or Christopher Elbow's masterpieces from Kansas City, but See's chocolates cost a heck of a lot less and seem to vanish faster than those other chocolates do. I don't give out 5 stars unless a place is exceptional but this particular See's is sitting at 4 1/2 stars in my book, service with a smile is always nice, and when I bring that gold box home I know it's going to make a lot of people very happy. Skip the premade boxes and pick and choose from the selection behind the glass. It's $19 a pound but you get exactly what you want, and nothing you don't. And of course you get a free sample too...and sometimes you'll get coupons for $5 off your next purchase. I have 3 of those coupons in my wallet right now just waiting to be used...and trust me, they will be. read more

Nice chocolates but awful customer service. I usually visit this establishment a couple of times per year and each time I find the experience to be stressful because of poor customer service. Yesterday I walked in and during Christmas time shopping just one person handling customers at the counter who is busy. The other worker was cutting up boxes and handling stock room duties outside in the store and ignoring me. I was raised in a retail store as a kid. I worked in a shoe store for five years through high school and college. I was taught from the beginning that the customer is number ONE and stock room duties or anything else in store "details" is secondary. These people here do not have a clue about customer service. I had to wait for her to finish her box cutting work before she finally came around and then she asked me how she can help me. I told her the first thing she needs to do is change her gloves since she was working with cartons and box cutters so we were off to a bad start. She then lied and said "how did you know what I was looking for". If she was looking for gloves to change then she would have taken care of that first before she approached me. I am sure if I did not ask her to change her gloves she wouldn't have. Then she groped her mask and I called her out on that which she denied. Bottom line is these people act like they are doing you a favor in this store. I am not some kind of an addict who needs a chocolate fix since I only come here for holidays so I I will find someplace else for the next holiday. I don't need the stress! i'm sad to put two stars because usually the customer service is fine here. but my mom and i went in today, and the woman who helped us asked us if we wanted samples we said yes. my mom only bought 4 california brittle in a cup, and that same woman didn't seem very happy about that wanted us to order more.. but we couldn't. lol holidays, we on a budget! and ended up charging us for the samples? pretty lame. she had black hair, very skinny, looked possibly asian. bummed /: probably won't be coming back to this See's! read more

Every mall has a See's Candies! This one is pretty cool though, quite accessible and their inventory is always stocked. I have been going to See's since I was little so everytime I go, I'd always buy my favorites. This See's Candies is pretty empty and there is never a line. Just bought chocolate for my family as I do every year for Christmas. Of course the store is busy since it's the 20th of December. It's our turn and Liza greets us. Considering it's later in the evening and it has been busy she was as pleasant as could be. She didn't make us feel rushed at all. She was the only one working, and so I just went up to the register and asked if I could buy the suckers real quick. She snapped back and me and said there's a line and we don't cut people. I went in early to beat the holiday crowds to get some candy for my mom and friends. Behind the counter was a super nice lady, Lynn. She was so pleasant to deal with. It certainly made my trip into the store a whole lot more comforting and easy experience. What really surprised me though was the number of adults that came in to just get a free piece of candy and yet they did not even pretend to be interested in buying anything. One older man, maybe 65 years old, tried to stop her from helping me (a paying customer) to get his piece of candy as he was in a hurry. In a hurry for a free piece of candy! It should really be " a free piece of candy with purchase" as I don't think those free-loaders understand that the cost of those free pieces of candy is what helps to drive up the prices for those of us who actually purchase candy there for our loved ones!
