Sees candies. Is well known all over the world. I have been a loyal supporter from when I was new here in the States. I love the sweet smiles the cashiers give. I love the delicious Rocky Road, chocolate mints. Anything with white chocolate and their Lollipops. They always have good displays. So Iconic. Now that Valentine is around the corner I decided to buy some for myself and friends. I always like the free taste every time I visit. This store is kind of hidden but people always flock in there . I love getting my sweet treats there.

See's is great! The service is friendly and I love that there are usually always multiple seasonal flavors too. A good quick gift or sweet treat for yourself. Don't forget a sample too!

Returned a box of Peanut Brittle (gift) and exchanged for 2 bags of dark chocolate almonds; process was seamless, professional, and friendly. This See's is always clean, bright, and has consistent customer service. Plus, they are always handing out samples. My favorite flavors are blueberry truffles, pumpkin pie truffles, tropical tango, milk almond bud, milk strawberry cream, dark coconut cream, and Kona Mocha in white chocolates. I'm most impressed with this local business because the candy factory is based in South San Francisco; looking forward to their Winter candy selection.

The clerk took the candies out of their papercups and threw them in the bag. I like the cups because they protect the candies.

I arrived at the Stonestown See's branch at opening time, not many people in the store. I noticed right away that there were no July 4th-themed merchandise like the chocolate & sour stars or the lollipops in star cases. They didn't have any bordeaux bars, kona mochas, or small See's totes; they seemed to be out of everything I wanted to purchase. The candies I did buy, the clerk took them out of their papercups; I don't know why? I give the candies to my coworkers who place them on their desks until breaktime & the cups protect the candy. This is the first time this branch was so sloppy. I've shopped there 15 years. I hope they're not exempting the Independence Day products for political reasons. I had to order the items online & I'd hate to see this branch close, but that's what'll happen if this slop work continues.

Mia C is an ANGEL!! I came in to buy lollipops and she helped me with some samples and based on her recommendation, I have discovered I am in love with the dark peanut butter chocolate .... all thanks to her. Thank you @ Mia C!!!!

They don't offer any sample chocolate even after making a purchase. The customer service is poor.

Free sample and friendly customer service I walked inside this See's Candy shop located inside the Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco... I have been meaning to use the gift card fellow Yelper, Lillian W, kindly gave me... but she gave it to me when I still had braces. I had to wait till they were off so I can have my favorite! I have had my braces off for sometime now but haven't been able to make it to a See's shoppe. Finally, the opportunity came last Saturday. My turn! \(**)/ I already knew what chocolate I wanted, I was just waiting for the couple in front of me to finish their transaction with the cashier. I wanted to use all $15 worth on the milk chocolate peanuts. She started filling the small white signature See's paper bag. When she handed me the bag it seemed heavy and worth more than my gift card. The employee also gave me a bunch of samples and she placed them in a separate bag. What a nice employee!! She scanned my gift card and off I went on my merry way. Only in the car after we left the mall was I able check the receipt --- the nice lady handed me a pound of milk peanuts! Choose your favorite assorted chocolates for $25.50/lb. I couldn't have been more happier... I was grateful to that kind employee who made my Saturday suhweeeet and filled with deliciousness! Thank you, Lillian and See's Candy! Review #2009

Right off the bat, the decor is so eye catching. I loved looking at the tins fixed on the wall with a variety of street names, chocolate brands, and landmarks. It makes for a very visually fun store. The chocolate choices here are unmatched. Every single chocolate I saw looked divine, and there are so many chocolate brands to choose from. There are also individual truffles for purchase. I visited on a Monday evening, and the store was completely empty, so I could take my time looking around. The brand Fossa caught my eye - they had chocolate bars with flavors like spicy mala, salted egg cereal, and satay sauce. Not only were there fascinating flavors, the packaging of every single bar I saw belonged in a museum. This felt like a store with high-quality, artisanal options, and I loved my visit!

I really like that you can choose exactly how many of each flavor you want in your box. I didn't realize that before, but it's a great option because you could literally get one of everything if you wanted to try them all. I chose orange, citron/lemon, caramel, earl grey, espresso, raspberry, and hazelnut. There was also a vegan raspberry option since the regular raspberry had sold out for the day, and honestly you couldn't tell the difference. It was delicious. I also tried the lemon in store, and the raspberry was my favorite. One small thing is that once they're bagged up, it can be a little hard to tell which flavor is which since they look pretty similar on the outside. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind if you're trying to remember what's what. The owner mentioned he's had the shop for 30 years, which you can feel when you're in there. He took the time to neatly tie up the box and even gave me two complimentary pieces. The shop itself is tiny and charming with a good variety of flavors. A friend of mine has been coming here since childhood, and now I understand the hype. I'll definitely be back.

One of these days, I will try one of the boxed chocolates they have. The person who helped me was super nice and gave me an honest opinion of the desserts on display. I was able to easily share my fears and thoughts. It was nice to be able to talk to someone about the items and understand what I was explaining. It wasn't too busy for a Thursday so maybe that's why he was able to take the time. All of the pastries I tried were beautiful, delicate, and as tasty as the display. 1. Peanut butter bar : I wasn't sure what to expect with this. It reminded me of a candy bar but 10xs better. The creamy chocolate and caramel with the crunch from the bits of nuts were perfect. It is a little rich. I wish I had a nice glass of milk or coffee to complete it. 2. Dandelion chocolate chip cookie : Nice buttery cookie that had a perfect crunch to it. It holds up perfect and it has perfect balance of chocolate. This is something my friend would love because she loves chocolate chip cookies but it didn't have too much if that makes sense. 3. Double chocolate cookie : This was chocolatey like he had explained but it didn't have the strong dark chocolate taste at the end. Personally, I think I prefer the chocolate chip cookie. 4. S'more : This by far was my favorite and I did not share. He had grabbed a handheld torch to roast the marshallow. What came out was perfection and it made the ride home in one piece. It tasted just like a s'more you would make when you're camping. It was fresh and marshmallow gooeyness that makes a delightful mess with every bite. I highly recommend this one if you love smores. I'd never had brittle like it... it was a thin layer of crunchy, flaky toffee sandwiched between coatings of the richest, velvetiest dark chocolate. Even though I meant for this to be a gift, I snagged a few pieces for myself for the drive home. I didn't know how legendary their hot chocolate was until reading these reviews, so now I have another good reason to go back!
