I scheduled an appointment with Sejin to get peek-a-boo highlights and my bangs trimmed and I'm very happy with the results! This was my first time getting my hair styled like this so I was a little nervous but she made the whole process super easy. Since I had some old dye on the ends of my hair, she explained how that could affect the coloring process and what to expect for the end result. She asked me questions about what style/color I wanted and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Although I had a general idea of what color I wanted, she gave her input for color selection which helped a lot! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and also gave recommendations on what hair products to use for color maintenance. Overall I'm happy with the service and styling she provided! I loved having Sejin as my stylist! I don't get a lot of haircuts, and when I do I always hate it when I get home as well as the following days until it grows on me (pun intended). I got my haircut late so I had dinner and got ready for bed so I didn't quite get the chance to look at my haircut. The next morning, I woke up early to style it and I actually really love it. I've never gotten layers like I did this time, so I'm excited to see how it grows out as well as learning how to style it to make sure it doesn't fall flat. I had high expectations for my hair appointment with Sejin, she is really nice to her customers. Agreed to do my hair and work with my budget. I was hoping for a low-maintenance balayage. After a consultation and setting up an appointment, she spent 6 hours working on my mid-length hair, which was the longest salon visit I've ever had. Despite enduring the process and trusting it, my hair ended up severely damaged with split ends, and the color was far from what I expected, despite Sejin's assurance it would lighten over time. With a budget of $450 plus her tip, I was upset by the results, especially since I'm a student and can't easily afford it. I mean I didn't expect it to look exactly like the picture that I showed her. It was more of a highlights than balayage. Idk if it's because my budget is only $450 and not the $475-$550 that she was asking before. In the end, I had to chop off 2 more inches of my hair at a different salon( She offered to chop it again for me but I don't want to go back to her) I was super upset. The thought of not caring for my hair till I graduate is gone and in the end, I had to spend more money in getting hair treatments from the store as it was severely damage from the bleach that she used. :( read more
