The physical therapist completed a full assessment, asked my goals, and we set a plan of action together. This office has lots of therapists, techs, and equipment available for all your needs. They work together as a team so your waiting time between exercises or treatments is very minimal. I also appreciate the staff's positive and encouraging attitudes. That's what I need to achieve my goals.

It basically means the arthritis has grown to a point where it is severaly pinching his spinal cord. Over the past 9 months when he was first diagnosed (we had to take care of other medical issues during this time - reason for the delay) he has severely worsened. We were advised by the surgeon that we needed to go to pt and pain management before surgery. This was mainly to prove that he has no other treatment option other than surgery. Since it is now 8 months since the diagnosis he has gotten to a point where he cannot walk far at all without severe pain and numbness in his legs, causing fear of falling. 8 months ago he could go to town shopping on his own - walk around the store and come home. By the time he got home he would be in pain but then would sit down and recover. At this clinic, he was "evaluated" by Jeff Hill, one of the 3 people who RUN ALL THE KELLY HAWKINS CLINICS and is listed as OWNER of this one in Vegas. Jeff kept insisting that my father, who is at a level 8 on pain with hydrocodone pills every 6 hours, could benefit from physical therapy. He stated that my father's possibility of rehab after surgery is POOR... obviously this man didn't know my father had heart surgery 2 years ago and the surgeon told him he recovered better than some 60 year olds who went through a valve replacement, and 3 bypasses!!! He diligently did his reha after with a home care nurse and recovered wonderfully!!!!! Even before his heart surgery the surgeon told him he is healthy as can be, just not the heart... OPEN HEART SURGERY...on an 83 year old... and my Dad easily recovered with his post rehab.....This Jeff guy just makes assumptions not knowing details and doesn't seem to care. Even the surgeon 8 months prior said surgery was the only way to CURE his problem. So Jeff would rather my father be in pain, worsening his stenosis by prolonging surgery, than agree that PT wasn't the answer. I agree with physical therapy 100% in many cases as I have gone after several surgeries (never to Kelly Hawkins). But in this case it doesn't take a rocket sientist to know that when a man can hardly walk, stand or sit because of the SPINAL CORD PAIN AND NUMBNESS, that PT is NOT the answer. His eval suggested 1 month of treatment for my father. Idiotic. PLUS he said that we told him "we are only here for the insurance." THAT is NOT what I specifically said, it's a lie and not what I meant - my father is on Medicare with a secondary insurance. All this man wanted was to get money into his clinic by trying to force someone into therapy when it would only make him worse. Spinal Stenosis can get so bad as to paralyze a person and make them use a wheelchair.. this guy didn't care - it was his ego and his clinic raking in more money that mattered most to him. Stay clear from this egotistical jerk!

She told me to do three extra quick exercises and told me that I was done. Next to me a woman with elevated legs who fell asleep and started snoring. Then there was a big loud announcement that someone was snoring. Then the girl couches ran over to her and were laughing telling the woman that she was snoring. They also told her that she was done for the day. I doubt a few minutes with her legs elevated helped her much for whatever her problem was....I also don't think the 3 minutes of exercise they told me to do was worth the trip or co-pay here. My take is that you can have a good experience here and it can also go no so well. The office duty can be improved. Also the care quality can be improved. After my last visit I have no reason to return unless I feel like deducting $65. there for my co-pay instead of losing it in a slot machine.

It's not nice or professional to assume and cut off people when they are trying to communicate an issue with staff. This place has a high turnover rate and has problems internally. One of the person doing the schedule does it on how they feel not what is readily available. Her supervisor is best friends with her and will cover and sweep everything under the rug. The regional manager Michael Smith is rude and treats you like a number and not a person. You would think with a name of speak easy it would be easy to communicate but that is not the case. Have been a customer for years and it's sad to have seen all this people come and go and this place go down like it has.
