I got an eye exam here a few days ago, and the optometrist was amazing. Seriously amazing. This is hands-down, without a doubt, EASILY the best eye exam I've ever had. Thorough, thoughtful, considerate, and did I mention thorough. I learned things about my eyes that I didn't even know were possible. Absolutely everything was explained. And I was given my full prescription without even having to ask. I can buy glasses online if I want, or I can go back to them to have them made. The exam was only $65. This is the price. This is not discounted, insurance copay, or anything complicated. Flat rate, $65, and the best quality you could want from an eye exam. It's just insane. I couldn't be happier. Apparently, my father-in-law was impressed as well, as he took the next appointment after me once they realized the scheduled appointment was a no-show. Lucky him, because not only did HE also get the best eye exam of his life... he also got glasses. And they were ready the next day. For a great price as well. I mean ... this place is PERFECT. The receptionist was so rude and told me she couldn't order 1 month supply and I needed to order 12 months at a time. I will never return to this place. They should always ask if you want to take a photo of the back of your eye- they didn't ask this and charged me for it anyway after I didn't even need a prescription for contacts at the time. After showing my bill to another optometrist friend, they even said this is unethical. They will tell you, you will pay a little more for the better service, but the service was not better. Every person who works here seems miserable and will not show you customer service. Take your money elsewhere where they will respect you and your wallet.

The second appointment was just to look for my glasses. I used them for three days and had a constant headache! On my third visit, I found out the prescription was wrong--the doctor had put too much "power" in it. I left the glasses there to be fixed and also got fitted for contacts. While waiting for the glasses, I tried the contacts, but they didn't work either. On my fourth visit, I went back for another pair of contacts. They handed me a plastic bag with the contacts inside and told me to try them at home. As soon as I put them in, I couldn't see a thing--and on top of that, they were expired! I waited three weeks for my glasses. I had to call to find out if they were ready, and by chance, they had arrived that same day. No one bothered to notify me. The glasses still don't work to this day. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!

When returning to get my frames adjusted, they refused saying they don't follow VSPs policies. I was, in fact, invited to take my business elsewhere. Since I made the mistake of also getting my 6-year-old daughter's eyes examined, and they would be her doctor, she is left without an eye doctor. Shameful. These are supposed to be medical professionals. If you value you and your family's vision, run from Best Eyecare Associates. They don't care and will leave you high and dry.
