Property: It's on a beautiful peninsula surrounded by water. There are 2 shops, a cafe, restaurant, bikes, walking paths, pool, sauna, spa, and so much more to enjoy! Service throughout the resort is outstanding. Rooms: The interior halls and rooms are a little dated but we don't care! The beds and pillows are super comfy. We had a spacious shower, fridge, and microwave. This trip was intended for full relaxation and it was definitely achieved! Restaurants: Packer's is DELICIOUS. We enjoyed the ribeye (twice each), meat pizza with spicy sausage, and Cioppino. All were fantastic!! We also had the baked cookie with ice cream and ganache cake with hazelnuts. Do not skip out on dessert. ;) The only so so item was the burger. Spa: We were at the resort from a Thursday to Sunday. I loved my massage SO much that I went every freaking day. I did a 90 minute with Gua sha the first visit. I also did the dry brushing and I loved all of it. I also enjoyed the sauna to myself every day. The spa area is super dated but you will not care as you're receiving your amazing massage. I also found the relaxation room plenty cozy for me. Onsite team and service: I cannot stress how amazingly exceptional the service was. Allow me to name drop a bit... Ginger @ Blue Heron Restaurant was so kind and friendly. She accommodated the changes I needed to make but remembered who I was from my phone call and treated us to an anniversary dessert after our wonderful dinner. Kristin @ the resort is the concierge and she surprised us with a lovely room with balcony and spectacular ocean view. She made us feel so welcome anytime we saw her. Mary, Timothy, Berkeley, Ben, and the rest of the Packer's service is second to none! They're so darn friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Teresa, Jovanny, Shauna, and gals at the spa reception are also exceptional. They are extremely welcoming, kind, friendly, and I enjoyed seeing their smiling faces. My massages with Teresa were so amazing that I'm pretty sure I drooled. If I lived closer, I'd certainly visit regularly. Jovanny also did a fantastic job and I highly recommend both for services!

We had an amazing getaway here, and I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking to unplug, enjoy nature, and soak in some serious beachy vibes. Just before the US-Canada border, you'll find Semiahmoo Resort, perched on a crazy little slice of land that feels like the middle of nowhere--in the best possible way. Surprisingly, there's a ton to do here. They have eight pickleball and tennis courts, plus a spa that you definitely need to book services *before* you arrive (I learned that the hard way), and make sure you stop by to say hi to their spa dog! You can also grab a free bike to explore the area. But honestly, what we really loved were the events they put on. When we showed up, they were throwing a seafood boil event and of course, we had to dive in--music, fresh seafood, and a vibe that screamed "vacation mode." We also went to a wine tasting where we had the best charcuterie spread we've ever seen. (so good they could've been dinner!) Shoutout to Rick, the sommelier, for making the wine tasting as fun as it was informative. Evenings were magical with fire pits on the beach area and s'mores every night, perfect for watching the sunset before the lights across the bay in White Rock flickered on. The beach walks and birdwatching were also highlights, though we didn't have time to fit in the nature tours. And don't forget to take a peek out your window--because you can literally watch seals playing in the water all day right in front of your room! Don't skip Packers restaurant--the food is delicious, and the service is super friendly Special thanks to Brianna, the front office manager, for answering all our random questions with a smile. Oh, and make sure you snag a room on the ocean side. Waking up to the sunrise through floor-to-ceiling windows? Absolutely breathtaking. It was just what we needed to recharge.

Stunning property in stunning location! We love Semiahmoo! We only stayed one night but lucked out w the weather. The beach is great to hang out on, great views from the room, bike rides (comp bikes), kids went swimming, s'mores in the evening. They're renovating their main restaurant and Packer's is also closed for the season but we enjoyed dinner (great burgers, ahi poke bowl) and breakfast at their cafe (avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, huge griddle cake). Can't wait to come back!

We made our traditional Christmas reservations last summer only to find now they closed Packers Sports Bar! No notice! Withe a "Christmas dinner in the tiny space under the stairs...REALLY...so disappointed! Is it in trouble again? We endured 3 years being closed and it feels like they're headed down that path again, very sad! Please prove me wrong!

Came here for a yoga retreat with a group of friends. The best part about this place is its location and the serene views of the water & mountains. The rooms are recently renovated and spacious. The food was a bit of a hit or miss but overall better than I expected. The staff are new (or so it seems) and could benefit from a bit more training. There is a limited list of things to do on and off the property, but it is good in case you are looking for a spot to decompress, go on long walks along the beach, enjoy the bonfire and s'mores, and alike. Overall a positive experience.

Thank you everyone for making our Thanksgiving amazing! Reservation front desk were very kind and 5 stars, coffee shop outstanding, atmosphere beautiful! Dinner was wonderful and one of the bar staff danced with our granddaughter to frozen making a perfect evening!

Overall, had pretty mixed feelings about this resort/hotel. There are definitely areas that could use improvements and some nice highlights if you're into doing activities with the family, partner, and/or friends. Pros of the Resort - Parking: Huge lot in front of the hotel... there is even an overflow lot if needed - Outdoor Activities: Convenient location to do activities such as: Golfing, Walking, Hiking, Checking out the beach/water, Water sports (kayaking, paddle boating), decent tennis & pickleball court, volleyball court - Gym/Fitness Center: Really nice set up with plenty of machines, indoor track and fitness classes - Complimentary S'mores Kits: If you feel like making s'mores, there are limited free kits provided by the resort. Do note if you want to reserve a private fire pit, it will cost $$$$. Otherwise, public fire pits (away from the rocks) are free and first come first serve - Services: There are free nightly movie showings for adults and kids, spa treatments and bike rentals - Canada View: It's pretty cool to see Canada on the other side of the waters Cons of the Resort - Check in Time: Waited close to 45min past the 4pm checked in time for my room. Not sure why there was a delay (since the staff couldn't get explain the issue). Ended up getting a "promised" $50 credit that later had to be disputed since the credit didn't get applied. - Limited Dining Options: If you're a foodie.... Gotta say this area is extremely limited in dining options. Closest decent restaurants are located in Canada. For the places near the resort, food can be a hit or miss and are pretty expensive. No options for Ubereats and order via Doordash is risky as your order is likely to be canceled due to lack of drivers. - Resort Food: If you want reasonably priced food options, see the following notes - If you want to get breakfast, highly recommend skipping the resort main restaurant and go somewhere else. For lunch, definitely recommend visiting the resort cafe, located across the hotel. Solid sandwiches and soup options there. For dinner, a lot of nearby places close early, so you'll likely eat at the resort restaurant which has decent but pricey dinner options. - Room & amenities: Overall, was a bit disappointed with the room and amenities. For a regular room, there was no fridge/microwave/ice bucket, limited outlets and quality of products (shampoo, lotion) were a bit on the low end. The room itself had a weird musty smell and it was pretty tough to adjust and maintain a comfy temperature. The bedding and towels were a bit thin and rough. - WiFi: Very spotty connection - gave up after the first night and found my cellphone connection to be more reliable Staff: Hit or miss... some where friendly and some were a bit standoffish. Also, do note that there is no staff to help you with unloading / moving things to your room. All self service and there are trolleys you can use to wheel your stuff to your room. Overall, this was an ok resort to stay at but definitely would look to stay somewhere else if visiting this area again.

Beds, bedding, towels, carpet, fridge. We had really great service. I called and changed plans due to family numbers. They were totally accommodating. We had several folks, 10 rooms, here for a Steamboat Meet and everyone had positive reviews of this place. This is an old hotel. The toilets are lower than I am used to, a grab bar would be helpful. The shower head is also low. A handheld would make things easier. Wi-Fi and tv worked well. More than enough hangars. Soap, conditioner and shampoo dispensers. I usually loathe these things, but they were very lightly scented and seemed to be a good product. Good ice machine. Coin Op washer/dryer available. A small notepad and pen would have been appreciated and would be a small expenditure but a good reminder to use and take home. We were half a mile from the marina and the BC Border. We won't hesitate to stay here again.

It is also very close to Richmond in Canada where we love to go for good Cantonese food. This last trip was the second time we managed to book a presidential suite with a private hot tub in the balcony. The unit is a bit dated, but spacious and comfortable. It's also very good to know that they send service personnel to check the hot tub every other day. The resort also has clamming equipment that can be borrowed. This is the closest WorldMark to the U.S. Canada Border in Blaine, which is about 6.5 miles drive from the resort. We arrived around 1:00a, check-in was fast and we were given our key cards and parking pass. As all of WorldMark by Wyndham resorts the unit was clean with a fully-equipped kitchen including a microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop along with a separate living area. We had a studio unit (only one available at time of booking) and our room was on the 5th floor. As always during our trips we never get to enjoy the hotel amenities (pool, recreation area, etc) since we always start our day out early and arrive back late. Can't waste any adventure time while on vacation. For our last evening we walked across the street to Bay Breeze Restaurant & Bar. We had a pleasant stay at this Worldmark location even though we were out most of the time. Review #3623
