    Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl
    Re L.

The tuna poke bowl was delicious, fresh tuna and avocados. This cute restaurant is located inside the Singer Oceanfront Resort and a great option for lunch if you're staying at the resort and enjoying the pool. There are plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. Service was good.

Even if you're not staying at the Singer I highly recommend coming for dinner. The food was incredible. I was here for work and had the chicken for dinner and I could have eaten it every night it was beyond delicious. For breakfast I had the crab Benedict and again did not disappoint. Spicy margaritas aren't on the menu, but they were more than happy to oblige. I will be back for sure.

Excellent Food! Chicken and Mahi were so fresh. Service was also excellent. I'm glad we visited the newly rennovated hotel! It felt like home again

Very nice Salmon Poke Bowl, large serving. Enjoyed my Aperol Spritz. Good service. A nice breeze from the ocean while sitting in the outside bar area. Prices for food are reasonable. Drinks are pricey.

Great food and views! Service was wonderful! There was a fan that was making the light above it flicker, and the server immediately got it fixed for us (I felt like a huge Karen, but it was making me twitch!). Omg these lump crab fritters are AMAZING! Definitely stop if you're near by! Sneak through the pool area though to the bar- the hostess in CC has zero people skills and no one has time for that. She is the reason for a lost star.

Lunch was excellent, as was our waiter. Prices were reasonable and service fast. We will go back while in the area.

We are updating our review after ten years. Our last one was back when we were just visiting the…read moreisland, before we decided to move here eight years ago. Honest take: the food and service can sometimes be hit or miss, and there is a lot of staff turnover. For example, The double burger is kind of unnecessary. It is two thick patties just piled on top of each other, and honestly, just make one really good burger and call it a day or give me a double smash burger. If you put the right toppings on it, you do not need two. It sounds good in theory but it just is not. You usually can't go wrong with a fish sandwich or entrée though. But what I really want to highlight now is that they are finally offering happy hour, something they have never done before, and it is a huge benefit to the locals who are here all summer long supporting this venue. The $10 bites are genuinely nice options, including peel and eat shrimp, fish dip, two sliders, beef barbacoa tacos, quesadillas, and tempura green beans. And the $8 margaritas and lychee martinis are something to write home about. Happy hour under the tiki bar has never been better now that there are specials.

Let's talk about french fries, because at Johnny Longboats they used to be the whole point. The…read moresandwiches are genuinely good, but that was never really the draw. The draw was knowing that no matter what you ordered, the fries were going to be great. That was the Saturday afternoon promise after a paddle to Peanut Island. Not anymore. The fries have been swapped for generic frozen ones that taste worse than fast food, and honestly, worse than what you'd get at a $6 burger joint. They are unseasoned & like plastic.... When you're paying $22+ for a sandwich, the fries used to be the reason you kept coming back. Right now they're the reason people are second guessing coming in the first place....As a local and as a loyal patron, thats sad & unfortunate. There are some items on the menu that have remained reasonable like the French dip sandwich for $19, but the last time I got it, the quantity of meat felt reduced by a third so whether they reduced the prices or the quantity, they have made some major changes in the last month or two. The pricing changes make it sting even more. The grouper bites, once a happy hour favorite at $8.99, are now on the main menu at $18.99. Side salads went from $11.99 to $15.99, and add a protein and you're suddenly paying $26-$34 for what is still, technically, a side salad. Meanwhile Ocean Avenue just opened down the street with a scratch kitchen, fresh cut fries, and house made juices, quietly raising the bar for the whole island. Johnny Longboats used to be our automatic answer for where to go after a beach day. Right now it's a hard sell, and it all started with the fries.

Great ribs, beach‑bar vibes, and a shark judging every bite. We're gonna need a bigger plate... maybe a bigger boat.
