Maybe I came in with high expectations. We ordered the Boat Noodle Soup and the Pink Noodles soup, and the chicharron. Overall the soups were more sweet than savory, probably to meet the Americanized palate. The chicharron was good tho! I waited 15 minutes for my meal, and you can tell they don't premade stuff. The soup came out hot. The rice is soaked in the savory chicken broth. I got the houseboat beef noodle soup and the noodles were good. The bean sprouts are good and the beef was really really beefy and good. I really liked the beef. The broth didn't excite me as much, but I was expecting a very beefy savory broth, it was more sour and sweet and the aromatics and beef flavor didn't come through as much as the sourness sweetness and salt did. I would've liked those flavors to be more balanced but it was a good soup and I'm actually waiting for them to open again so I can order another bowl for lunch. This place is part of a mini food hall but it's tucked away on the right side and not part of the main open area with the other restaurants (behind the bar). A friend and I were craving hot noodle soup on a cold night so we opted to try this place out. The girl taking our order was super nice and showed us which sauces went best with our respective dishes. I always see this restaurant sign when driving by but never can never find them before. Was going to the other Thai restaurant in the food court for lunch but ended up landing here! Since I have been eating much meat lately, I decided to get something without meat instead. Ordered the Yen Ta Fo noodles soup (medium spicy), something I never had before. Also opted for egg noodles instead of the rice noodles that comes with it. It was very spicy and delicious! The bowl of noodles came with a variety of fish cake and fish balls. Noodles were a bit overcooked to my liking, but not too bad. I usually like my noodles more firm and el dente but the lady didn't quite understand it when I ordered. I believe she's the owner and also the cook. Their menu prices also a bit higher than the rest of the restaurants in the food court so I guess they're not as busy? Their restaurant is also hidden on the other side of the food court. Will bring some people back soon. read more

I had the Khao soi noodles with chicken and spicy wontons, and both hit the spot! Broth was flavorful and spicy as requested. My only comment and this is a matter of preference is the chicken were drumsticks with bones and I'd have preferred boneless. But overall good purchase and I'd encourage you to try. If you've never had Thai Boat Noodle Soup, it's like Chinese Beef Noodle Soup and Pho collided and emerged sweeter and more fragrant. The soup tasted distinctly of star anise and lemon grass. The Beef Boat Noodle Soup here comes with a healthy portion of beef in the form of braised shank, thin raw slices (dunk in soup to cook), and beef balls. I like having a choice of egg noodles because it has protein and more micronutrients than rice noodles. The dish is rounded out with water spinach aka ong choy. That's real leafy greens, not just a few herbs or green lettuce leaves strewn about. Let's not overlook how special that is, especially for a takeout place. Sen's Beef Boat Noodle Soup made my arms less sore, my mood less sour, and my day less somber. And I didn't even have to deal with a dine-in restaurant. I ordered the Thai pork boat soup with the flat noodles. The lady also recommended their spicy sauce which they made on their own. Be sure to ask for it if you are the spicy lover. The noodle soup is full of flavor (honestly, a bit salty for me) and the portion is quite generous with what is inside. There are several fish balls, meat chunks, thin slices of pork, and other stuff. The pork chunk is a bit dry for me but that is okay (Personal taste). The noodles aren't overcooked. My go-to is the Pork Boat Noodles. I've had this dish at numerous Thai restaurants and Sen Thai is tops. The dish has a dark reddish-brown broth that is absolutely loaded with flavor. It features slices of pork, pork balls, sprouts, and greens. You choose one of four noodle types, and can add chilies and oils to personalize. The portion size is very generous. The service here is always friendly and eager to please. Trade Food Hall has plenty of seating and a parking lot, but always busy with the work lunch crowd. Ordered takeout from here when I was feeling under the weather... just what I needed. If you're worried about ordering a soup dish through delivery don't be! They packaged it perfect. The noodles and toppings are all separated on top and the broth was on the bottom which was still warm when I got it and the food was all made with care by the employees. The flavors were amazing in this dish I couldn't stop eating but it was so much food! I also got mango sticky rice which never disappoints and their mango was so ripe and fresh along with the rice.
