The food is very OK, service is average, and atmosphere is bad. I do not suggest getting any of the fried rice as it is seriously lacking flavor. Maybe just adding salt or MSG would make this decent, but unfortunately, it was not good. The liang pi was decent. These spicy cold noodles had OK flavor, however, the main issue was that the noodles were all stuck together into one big ball. Especially in the places in New York, these noodles are always separated and completely covered in sauce. Unfortunately, this is not the case here. Additionally, for the price, I would expect for some type of protein to be added to the dish such as wheat gluten. Service is average. It took staff a little bit of time to come to the front to take the order. Atmosphere is bad. You will see boxes and cleaning supplies and other items just stored along the wall of the restaurant. Seating is OK, parking is hard to find.

Lunch special is there even on weekends. Everything tasted pretty good except the Hokkaido milk tea was way too sweet. They take the inkind app payment so could snag a deal here.

The portions here are really big. We got the lamb cumin and it was a huge portion. The food here all tastes good. Very flavorful. They serve fresh homemade noodles. They have $12.99 lunch specials which comes with a drink and the pickled cucumbers. What a great deal! The numb spice here is really good. It tastes fresh and strong. No complaints, will definitely be back. It's a small restaurants. You order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter. HAPPY SPICING!

The portions are generous! I'm giving 5 stars for the 12.99 lunch special and the genuine kindness of the reception staff. The boy and the man at the front are always very kind--I've tried to tip multiple times, but they usually say no. Food is made fast within 5-10 minutes. Lunch time gets a bit busy. Phone order is faster. It's a small restaurant located in an apartment plaza. Park in the back, since parking in front is limited. Don't expect anything fancy--just simple, honest food. Point system there has saved me a couple bucks on every order. Guilin soup and liang pang are my favorite. , and the lily flowers are my favorite part. IT YOU HAVE PEANUT ALLERGY TELL THEM. It's in most soup. I usually add an extra side for $1-$2 because they're that good. The broth is light and aromatic, clean and comforting without feeling heavy. Simple, fast, affordable, and comforting food. A place I keep coming back to.

Qin West is that zero frills spot you go to when you just want good food without the fuss. Don't come here expecting ambiance, spotless floors, or anyone to ask how your day's going. Zero vibes here. This is a quickly eat in restaurant or grab-your-food-and-go kind of place. The food? Delicious. Straight up. Everything I've tried has been solid, but the wonton soup deserves its own fan club. It's warm, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a long day. Get it on a cold chilly day, you'll thank me!! Quick tip: if you download the InKind app, you can pay through it and perpetually get 20% off!

    Beef noodle soup.

I ordered the authentic beef noodle soup and it was chef's kiss. The broth was rich, deep, and actually tastes like it simmered for hours instead of being rushed. The noodles had that perfect chewy bite. The beef was tender and generous, not those tiny sad pieces hiding at the bottom. And the rou jia mo? So good. Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. Portions are big. Prices are reasonable. You're not paying influencer tax here. Just solid, authentic food that tastes like home. If you're craving comfort in a bowl, this is it. I'll definitely be back.

Awesome Chinese spot, just kinda in the middle of nowhere. I love the Spicy Dry Pot. Nice, complex flavors, with a touch of spice (add more chilis if you dare!). This restaurant is in the middle of an apartment complex, parking is aplenty inside the parking structure.

If you're looking for some quick grab spicy noodle, this is your place to go. Prices are very friendly, but mild is quite spicy, mostly because of the chili paste so you can definitely remove that if you're not a spicy person. The noodle came with some basic toppings of meat, egg and pickled veggies. Very flavorful and highly recommended for a quick grab.

I was introduced to this place by my friend. As it turned out, they serve very delicious food here. I really liked it. The prices are reasonable, so I highly recommend it to everyone who loves Asian cuisine and tasty noodles!

This place is like on the bottom of an apartment/condo complex. There's a parking structure, but not sure if you have to pay or what. But I did see there was an arm thing that goes up and down. There's limited 30 min parking stalls along the road tho. I ordered the Liang Pi. It's a room temperature/cold noodle dish served with bean sprouts and cucumbers with the option of choosing your spice level (I got mild) and add beef (which I did not). It reminds me of a Chinese/Schezwan version of Hiyashi Chuka (Japanese cold noodle). I really liked it! It had just enough spice, with the thicker flat rice noodle. SO good! My husband got the Beef Noodle Soup. It was tasty. My husband got it with the wide flat noodle (it was recommended on the menu). He said it might've tasted better if it was with the flat rice noodle instead. The portions are very generous for one person. We didn't even finish ours. All-in-all, this was a good find and I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Taiwanese braised pork belly over rice with egg, side of cucumber and milk tea drink for $12!

Located under a building complex, just off of Scholarship Road. There are 6 other locations in Los Angeles area, and I love this spot in Irvine. Featuring incredible lunch specials: entree, side, and choice of Thai tea or lemonade. I highly recommend their Taiwanese braised pork belly with white rice and fried egg, with a side of spicy cucumbers. I selected their Thai tea, which was refreshing!

So firstly, the cashier had headphones on and was on phone plus no music therefore awkward and stale vibe inside. Every table was dirty, so there was no clean eating areas. We opted for outside. The food was okay, Beef soup was mostly bland, the noodles in it were kind of tasty, but got more sad as I ate. The beef did not have a good texture in my opinion and the was no flavor to it, not even a beef flavor. The soup is soup, it was pretty decent Wonton soup was the same soup but with chili oil. The actual wontons were tasty and abundant. Sesame balls were classic, can't mess those up. Honestly this was a miss and you would be better off going somewhere else. It just felt plain, but it wasn't entirely bad!

There's limited parking in front of the restaurant but free retail parking in the parking garage next to it! It's a casual authentic Chinese noodle place with a lot of options. I ordered the signature liang pi noodles medium spicy and it definitely had a good numbing spice flavor. Prices are pretty normal (but seems like there's a really good lunch menu deal) but portions are large! Overall pretty good experience

The restaurant itself is a bit on the small side so you'll be close to your neighbors not that it was an issue personally. My buddy and I ordered our items and shared with each other for a good full experience. We got the three-in-one noodles medium heat and the Ma Hu Beef noodles with mild heat alongside the cucumbers with medium heat as an appetizer. Cucumbers were very fresh! However, they really were just cucumbers with a little heat on them so they weren't anything too special. Once the main entrees came in, I couldn't stop myself from digging in! I forgot to take a picture until after some damage was done to our meals. Three-in-one was so flavorful and sweet with the noodles becoming incredibly soft after having mixed it all together. The star of the show for me though was the Ma Hu Beef noodles. The beef was remarkably tender and delicious and the noodles had a firmer texture that complimented with the flavors. Oddly enough, the mild heat on the Ma Hu Beef was spicier than the medium heat three-in-one! If you find yourself in the mood for Biangbiang noodles, this is definitely the spot to go to. On a side unrelated note about the parking which did not influence my review; the parking here is rough. It's consistently packed so watch out for that. There is a structure across the street that allows parking for the food court. I parked in the structure but I had a bad experience because since it's also parking for the residents above, the gate was closed on us after 8pm. I had to wait for a vehicle to come out and open the gate for not only just me but for multiple other people that had also parked in the structure!Just something to keep in mind. Hopefully that doesn't continue being an issue for future guests.

A standout dish was the pork pancake, which was layered almost like a savory crepe. The exterior was crispy and slightly oily. Plenty of flavor packed into each bite mmm I also ordered the spicy sauerkraut lamb hot pot. It comes with flames & reminded me a bit of Boiling Point. Lots of napa cabbage in the broth. The lamb was excellently fatty... tender and soft! I've recently had another hot pot place with lean lamb so this was on point. Portions were generous and the price felt very reasonable. My favorite dish of the meal was the fatty beef with scallions. The beef was indeed fatty and rich flavor, with what I think was a nice subtle Shaoxing wine or cooking wine flavor. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.
