Have been coming here for years with coworkers since it's close to work, so I was excited to introduce my family to this place on a Sunday night we happened to be shopping at South Coast Plaza. We came for an early dinner, so there wasn't much of a wait. Still, the place itself was at ~80% capacity (not saying a whole lot since this place is pretty small--definitely not suitable for larger parties). They must have recently added a few things on the menu, cuz they had dishes I'd never seen before here (e.g., Hainan chicken rice, laksa) that were categorized as "Singaporean Dishes" on the menu. I got the laksa, husband got the shrimp trio, toddler got the braised chicken dry noodle, and we got the bok choy in oyster sauce for the table. The laksa was a little spicier than I generally like my laksa to be, so it took me a while to eat it (had to keep taking breaks). Husband enjoyed his shrimp trio, although he was hoping it would be more spicy since it had a chili pepper indicator on the menu. He ended up getting the chili oil on the side, and really enjoyed ,it so overall still really liked the dish. Toddler devoured his dry noodle, and the bok choy was great! Service was just okay; they never really came by to check on us, so took a while to get our check. BUT love that they set out plastic tableware and utensils when we noted we had a toddler. Overall, a good visit and would definitely come back.

I've had this restaurant bookmarked for a long time and finally got to try it when meeting a friend. Funny enough, another friend I met the day before also recommended it before I even mentioned it! She raved about the chain and said she often visited the Irvine location. That really sealed the deal for me, and I was excited to finally try it! The location we went to is located in the food court across of a new boba spot and Mochinut on the first floor of the Collage Culinary Experience in the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. There is ample open air free parking around the area for customers. We visited during their weekday happy hour (2:30-5pm) which offered three different deals: $9.99 with two chicken options, $12.99 with either ebiko prawn ball or crispy cod, and $13.99 with the big prawn shrimp and chicken noodle. All included a non-alcoholic beverage. It was a great deal! My friend recommended the trio noodle soup, but it wasn't part of the happy hour special, so I chose the last option. I ordered their Big Prawn Noodle with iced Oolong tea. The broth was light with a hint of umami, but not as fragrant as I expected it to be based on the reviews and my friend who frequents this chain. Maybe I got the newer, top batch without the deeper flavor and umami? The shrimp was also not the huge beautiful prawns that their menu showed - just those regular frozen round headed ones. I was a bit disappointed by my meal. My friend ordered their Ebiko Prawn Ball Dry Noodle, and my boyfriend ordered their Trio Shrimp Dry Noodle. The ebiko prawn ball tried was really good. If it's homemade, kudos to the restaurant! There was a lot of flavor in that small prawn ball which was amazing. Overall, an ok spot in my opinion. It was unfortunately a bit underwhelming but maybe it was just a bad day when we went. I do want to come back and try their Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle and maybe some of their appetizers at our next visit!

This small restaurant is part of the Paradise Dynasty conglomerate from Singapore. It's situated on the lower level of the food court in Bloomingdale's in South Coast Plaza. Its larger sister restaurant Paradise Dynasty is upstairs. There are now 2 Paradise Dynasty's in the US, both in Southern CA (Costa Mesa and Glendale). There are 5 Le Shrimp Noodle Bars in the US, 3 in Southern CA (Costa Mesa, Irvine and Glendale). While Paradise Dynasty offers a large menu similar to Din Tai Fung, Le Shrimp offers a smaller menu focusing on noodles with shrimp or chicken broth. I arrived at opening time, and the place filled up pretty quickly. There are some small booths and tables along the edges with a large communal table in the middle. You can order off a QR code, but it's just as easy to order in person. Since this was my first visit, I ordered their signature dish, Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle. It came with 3 prawns, 2 prawn balls, and one prawn/chicken wonton, plus cabbage and green onions. You have a choice of thin or wide noodles. I chose wide, which were about the thickness of linguini. The broth was a very savory shrimp broth, which apparently takes some time and effort to make. While the broth was great, the prawns were not that flavourful nor large; the prawn balls and wonton had more taste. I ordered the dish as a combo, which includes an appetizer and drink. My app choice was chilled tofu with vegan oyster sauce and crispy onions, very nice. My drink choice was "iced" oolong tea, which was a can of tea. Note the restaurant does not have an ice machine! So the tea was somewhat chilled, served in the can with a straw. The water was room temperature. Service was good. There was just one server but he was experienced and quick on his feet. Someone who looked like the manager was helping him at first until he had to leave, probably for a meeting. The noodles did take awhile to come out. You can pay in person or via QR code. Overall a decent meal. I would probably choose Paradise Dynasty for its more extensive menu. There's a pho place next to Le Shrimp that looked pretty busy too.

I have been going to this place for the last three years because it's far away from me and it's in Costa Mesa the one that I've always go every time when I stop by at Bloomington . This is the best shrimp noodle soup that I have ever eaten so far . I ordered the Shrimp Trio Noodles Soup. The soup is very rich in flavor, noodle is chewy and the shrimp is big and fresh. It comes with shrimp balls and wontons. Sometimes a little too salty for me, I just add extra hot water to dilute it, it's still taste great ~~ you gotta try it to believe it I give 9/10 because of the saltiness (may be just me) otherwise will be 10 Waiting is always packed, so go in either before lunch rush or hi-tea time. Sometimes they offer 20% Happy Hour discounts. Just check their Yelp or website when they have it, not year round. Ofc, they have another appetizer like chicken cutlets also crispy and flavorful. Gotta try everything, you might like other stuff right. The Dynasty upstairs is also owned by them, stop by to try their rainbow dumplings and chicken noodles soup. Food is awesome there as well. Happy Eating

Honestly was pretty disappointed with this place because we enjoyed Paradise Dynasty. When we got there Saturday 3PM the restaurant wasn't even full. The hostess was literally at desk and no one acknowledged us for at least 5 min - I had to actually ask the hostess if we could be seated and she still told us to wait. I don't mind waiting but an acknowledgment would be nice because we were just standing and wondering if she even saw us. When we got sat, the table next to us was whispering about how bad the service was too. There was one guy who was actually attentive but everyone else looked like they didn't want to be there. Then on to the food...I ordered the Laksa because its only served 25 bowls daily. Yeah don't order it, it's basically their shrimp ramen but with coconut essence. This place did not live up to the hype.

Pleasantly surprised the first time I came for lunch and am glad to see the standard keep up! Brought my parents here for their first time and they decided to partake of the specials available. Service stays good, friendly and efficient, and we were in and out as fast as we could eat.

After having been to Le Shrimp at Spectrum without my husband I knew he had to try it for himself as he is one of the biggest shrimp lovers I know. This location is much smaller and typically has a wait. Unfortunately you can't put your name in here and walk away, you have to queue until a table is available. Luckily, even on a Saturday afternoon it only took about 10-15 minutes to be sat. I love that they have the combos here, I got the prawn and chicken wonton noodle soup with the tofu. I love how fresh their tofu is, it's absolutely delicious with the fish sauce and scallions. The soup was delicious too. The broth just has such depth of flavor, it's really well seasoned. My husband loved it, of course. I'd come back to this location.

The waiter told us that she's the only water and that there are new recruits being trained in the back, but it will take like 30-45 minutes. We were fine with that and the food came out sooner than the time estimated. We got the signature trio shrimp noodle and prawn and chicken wonton in vegan broth. Both were good but if they were hotter, then they would be better. The signature one, it did have a strong shrimp based soup, which was nice. Also, they ran out of soy milk and hot tea options when it was opened less than an hour haha. A bit odd. I think considering the circumstances, it was an overall good experience.

When I make broths or stock at home, I love adding shrimp shells for umami and depth. However, this is the first time I've heard of a restaurant that specializes in shrimp broth. I was intrigued to learn more when a friend suggested meeting up for dinner. Since it was my first time, I asked our group for their recommendation. If it's your first time too, go with the Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle ($18.95). It has a little bit of everything, such as succulent prawns, Ebiko prawn balls and a few prawn & chicken wontons. I opted for thin noodles, but you have the option for wide noodles as well. The noodle soups comes with cabbage and green onions, but the absolute star is the broth. It's got a silky, creamy texture combined with rich smoky umami that I slurped almost to the last drop. While the shrimpy toppings were cooked to perfection, I think the most stand out item I enjoyed was the shrimp ball. Overall, great first time. Id' be interested in giving their Crispy Cod Noodle a try for next time, or even try the appetizer portion.

This was the signature dish/raman. Very ordinary with flavors that weren't very compatible.

It was just okay. Nothing special and I doubt I'll be returning unless I happen to be there and can't find anything better. The signature dish/raman (I think it was called A1 on the menu) was decent but had some odd flavors going on. My wife who isn't Asian had one bite and was, this is too funky and she didn't eat anymore. The wonton with chilis had way too much chili and sichuan peppers. It overwhelmed all other flavor. The spring rolls were not very good. The skin was way too thick and made it too bready. Good spring rolls have super thin wrapping. The only thing we really liked was the bok choy.

It's honestly pretty solid. Broth is rich and shrimpy. I like that I can choose between thick and thin noodles. It reminds me much of the van canh tom cua broth, and I always have leftovers to turn into a leftovers meal at home. It can get crowded, but things move fast. People eat and then they bounce. Few folks linger. The staff works hard to keep up.

Le shrimp Noodle bar is nestled next to parking garage of the Irvine spectrum. I have tried many shrimp noodle places before, so i thought why not give this place a try. It was a slow Wednesday lunch, I was greeted by one of the staff and he sat me down. The restaurant was quite small but nicely decorated. I ordered the big prawn noodle which the broth was cooked for 8 hours long, topped with cabbage and green onions. After only a 5 min wait, my delightful bowl is ready. The noodles were chewy and fresh, the prawn was big and juicy, and the broth was tasty and not over powering. I can say I had better but honestly not bad being in Irvine! Tip - get the fried onions and sautéed garlic on the side. It adds a punch of flavor to every bite!

Excellent service, The soup base is boiled in depth with layers of spice and favors. noodles is al dente. Shrimps were huge and cooked perfectly. The shrimp taco is interesting with crispy shell and spicy small bites. Very fun dishes

This wasn't just a "ramen joint"--it was a masterclass in authentic Fukuoka-style soul food. The Broth: Liquid Gold The standout was always their Signature Tonkotsu broth. You could literally taste the 30+ hours of labor that went into it. It had that distinct "frothy" texture (the bubble of the bone marrow) that you only find in high-end Hakata shops. It was rich, creamy, and carried a deep umami funk without ever being overly greasy. The Hits * Black Tonkotsu: The roasted garlic oil (mayu) added a smoky, dark complexity that ruined all other garlic ramens for me. * God Fire: For those who like to sweat, this offered the perfect balance of heat without sacrificing the integrity of the pork flavor. * The Karaage: Genuinely some of the best fried chicken in the area. Massive, juicy thigh meat with a shattering, thin crust and that addictive spicy mayo on the side. * Customization: I loved that they let you pick your noodle firmness. "Hard" was the only way to go to ensure that perfect snap with every bite. The Atmosphere The Costa Mesa location always had a great energy--functional, clean, and unpretentious. The staff were always efficient, greeting everyone with a loud "Irasshaimase!" that made the experience feel truly authentic. To the team at Ikkousha: thank you for the memories and the best bowls in the city. You'll be sorely missed! We also tried the chashu in one bowl and the pork belly on one bowl. For about $20 a bowl I will say I was a little disappointed that it only came with one small piece of pork belly, which was a little too rough and chewy. The other bowl came with two very thin slices of chashu. However the chashu was really good! I would say one of the best chashu I have ever tasted. So tender and very flavorful. The broth itself was a miss for me. The red king spicy tonkotsu was salty, and the taste was just heat with little flavor. With the squid ink (Black King), I just felt like the flavor was missing. It didn't have any unique taste to it. I think I would go regular tonkotsu next time. The chicken karaage had a nice glaze to it and was very crispy! Tastes kind of like a honey sesame. Overall, very good noodles and chashu. Portion on the smaller side with little broth flavor (For red king and squid ink).

As for the Mazemen, we ordered the Deluxe and Veggie one, both is a 5/5. Very flavorful and it tastes just like ramen, but without the soup. The presentation of the dish looks like a work of art. Very picture pretty. I ate that shit up within ten minutes. After that they give you a scoop of rice so you can mix it up with the leftover sauce. Lots of umami for sure. Definitely will come back again to try the other flavors. People, trust me and come through!

Thankfully, they had a booster seat available to have our child sit on. We ordered a miso ramen, a spicy black garlic ramen and a gyoza for our appetizer. The person taking our order was patient with us as we ordered even as we were dealing with our toddler. Our requests were accommodated respectfully and to the best they could! Upon first glance, the gyoza looked good, like it was a family recipe and made from scratch! The spicy garlic ramen had thick, and a tasty looking broth and the portion sizes for the ramen looked like decent enough for the price. The taste for the gyoza was good, but the spicy black garlic ramen definitely stole the show! The broth was the perfect level of savory with a delicious blend of garlic that wasn't overpowering along with the pork broth. The chashu was incredibly tender and flavorful and the ramen was cooked perfectly - *chefs kiss*, amazing! Another reason that helped me decide on eating here was that there is a student discount for OCC students! Definitely cool that the local business is supporting local students! I had a great experience eating here with my family - the food was delicious, the staff was helpful and it was joy!

We also ordered the fried rice, which was okay. The garlic edamame was also really good. Service was excellent! Very attentive servers & friendly. This location is actually laughable. I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup. I show up exactly at…read morethe time it should be ready and it's already been given away. The server doesn't apologize - he states it's already been picked up. How? I ask if they don't verify the DoorDash confirmation for pickup. The server Kendrick tells me they do, but scammers show up with the exact order confirmation screen and pick up orders. Honestly sounds like BS to me, considering they have pickup orders by the front door on a shelf that anyone could take. Either way, the lack of an immediate apology or questions to clarify just point to the fact that he assumed immediately I was a scammer. Okay, annoying. But whatever. I want my food. I ask to have it remade - they're still seating people and people are ordering. They're not closing anytime soon. He tells me they won't remake it. I ask why and he continues to insinuate I'm a scammer and a thief trying to pick up someone else's order. He tells me to cancel my order. I'm beyond pissed at this point because I can't even get a refund via DoorDash because it's already being prepared. So I go back and talk to him again. He continues to refuse to cancel the order or remake it. He gets on the phone with a "Peter" who he claims is the manager. It gets really fun from here. Peter listens to my story and says there's nothing they can do. He says scammers do that all the time, and every restaurant deals with it. Okay, so how has it never happened to me at ANY restaurant? And how have I NEVER heard of it happening? So Peter, after refusing to do anything for me for a while, finally says he'll talk to the server to try and cancel the order from their end. Fine. I hand the phone back to Kendrick and he walks inside. I wait 7 min and no updates. So I go inside and ask him if he's canceling the order. He says, "what do you mean?" I tell him the manager said he'd tell him to cancel the order. Kendrick says, "he was telling you to do that". More gaslighting lmfaoooooo. I tell him no, he told you to. Again, I'm pissed beyond belief at this point and again, I can't get a refund via DoorDash because it's already "being prepared". You would think saying that 3 times is enough for them to finally get it but no. I wasted 20 min driving here, and another 25 waiting for a resolution for this BS. Kendrick tells me he can't cancel the order twice. I just ignore him and wait. 3 min later he goes "I canceled it". Like... you guys are acting like I'm the scammer when you clearly are the ones trying to pull some shady stuff. I FINALLY get my refund and Kendrick says, "sorry I just work here." Brother, that's not your line. You say that when, for example, corporate has a policy that no one likes. This all stemmed from you and your team's incompetence. The lying and gaslighting is absolutely crazy. 25 min and they either could've just refunded me or remade my order. A waste of time. I'll never visit any Slurpin again - this was just pathetic. Not a single bit of sincerity or willingness to help. The manager sounded like he was tired of talking to me, and our conversation lasted 2 min (I'm not even exaggerating). If you want food, don't go here. If you want to keep your money, don't come here. However, if you want to be treated like a liar and a scammer from the second you walk in, then this place is perfect.

From the moment we walked in, the lead server, Jon, was unfriendly, which I could have overlooked, but his attitude became noticeably worse while seating us. Immediately after seating us, I saw him walk to the back, say something with a smirk to a coworker, and the coworker immediately looked over at our table. It honestly felt like we were being mocked, almost as if he had some kind of issue with me for no reason. The entire experience made me uncomfortable the whole time we were there, to the point where I honestly just wanted to leave. That said, I do want to mention that our actual server was kind and professional. Sometimes the experience matters just as much as the food, and this was a totally unnecessary and disappointing situation. I'd be happy to explain further if the owners would like to reach out.
