Spicy Spicy Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup
    Adilene R.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. I didn't take pictures of everything we go but everything was delicious. We got the beef roll, spicy beef noodle soup, tofu stir fry and garlic green beans. Everything was very delicious! The soup was so delicious and rich in flavor. The beef roll probably one of the best I've tried & the stir fry had great flavor. I also tried the mango green tea and it was very good. The restaurant is nice & the service was great! I would definitely return!

Service is great and the inside is very spacious. One thing I absolutely loved is the lighting they have above each table. So good for the perfect shot. We ordered the beef pancake, lamb skewers, fries, and spicy beef noodle soups with thick cut noodles. The beef pancakes were super yummy and flavorful. The lamb skewers had too much cumin for my taste, but the meat itself was good. The fries were nothing to brag about, and I probably wouldn't order them again. The soup itself was delicious and the broth was great. I'm not a fan of beef, but this one was super tender and easy to chew. The noodles were good, but they do become harder to eat as they get cold. They also don't taste the same once reheated! The serving size is huge and a bowl can easily be shared by two people.

The highlights here are the super accommodating staff and portion sizes. This was a convenient stop for us in the area for dinner and it wasn't busy, so there was no wait. There's a variety of seating (booths, tables, and a bar-ish style in the middle), which makes it good for any group size. However, I found the food to be lacking. I ordered the noodles with minced beef sauce and thought it was just okay. While the portions are generous, the dish was had too much oil and salt, making it difficult to finish.

Pretty good noodles. I got their beef rib noodles. I opted for the knife cut noodles. We also got the beef pancake. But we didn't realize the portions for so huge we had to take half of the beef pancakes home! I suggest only ordering the beef pancake appetizer to share between 2 people. Don't be like me and order 2 orders of that for 2 people. Decent portions. Very filling

This location of Noodle St is located in a shopping plaza surrounding by other establishments, plenty of parking out front. The restaurant itself is open, has relaxed vibe, and the staff was attentive. They also offered us bibs to protect our clothes which I loved! We ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (8/10) and the cucumber salad (6/10). I wish the soup itself was a little bit warmer, but the flavor was delicious. The cucumber salad was okay, but I've definitely had better at other establishments.

We got the Spicy Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup ($16), minced noodle beef sauce ($15), spicy wonton ($9) Spicy beef noodle we got with knife cut noodles, meat was tender, noodles were thick, broth was spicy for me but I enjoyed (7.5/10) Minced noodle beef noodle we also got with the knife cut noodles, we liked the texture of the noodles but there wasn't enough meat and it felt like it was missing more flavors. Wouldn't get again (5/10) Spicy wontons or dumplings were pretty good (7/10)

One of my fav Chinese restaurants in Orange County!! Been coming here for years. This place isn't too busy and I believe it's under-rated Must try: - Qinghai Clear Cold noodle (they run out by dinner sometimes) - Beef Noodle Soup with knife cut noodles - Beef Roll pancake We've came here over 10 times and these are our favorite things to order on repeat!

Hands down the best place for hand-pulled noodles--and they're even open on Christmas! Every dish was exceptionally flavorful. The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly chewy with a generous portion that's great for sharing. Don't skip the cucumber- it adds the perfect refreshing crunch on the side. And their chili oil? An absolute must to drizzle on top for that extra kick. Service was fast, and you can really appreciate that everything is made fresh right in the open kitchen. It's a great spot whether you're planning a date night, family dinner, or even dining solo. Next time, I'm excited to try the no-spice clear broth, the broth itself is so rich and flavorful, and it's mild enough to be kid-friendly too. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Noodle St is a spot serving up some authentic and delicious Chinese dishes. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with a solid amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and were seated right away. For their menu, they have a good selection to choose from. Wifey and I opted to get the Beef Roll, Savory Braised Chicken Noodles, and the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Overall, everything that we had was delicious and filling with a generous portion size. All of the staff here are very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back for another satisfying meal next time we are nearby the area!

High quality noodles, would recommend everything we ordered! No wait time for dinner and the food was served quickly. You can watch the chefs slicing the noodles fresh at the open kitchen. We ordered: - Signature beef noodle soup: Choice of spicy or non-spicy, we got non-spicy. Love the noodle texture a lot. Mild soup but not bland! - Lamb skewers: way better than some other spots like Northern cafe. A bit pricey so maybe I'll pass on this next time. Good to try though! - Beef rolls: lots of flavor, loved this a lot. Really like how the vegetables are cold inside, felt very fresh. - Minced beef noodles: my personal favorite!! Sauce is more complex than it looks. I was scraping down every last spoonful of it lol. Will be back!

Food: not pictured were the lamb skewers. SO good. We inhaled them before I remembered to take a picture. I don't like lamb in general, but these were delicious. My next second favorite was the beef noodle soup. And last but still very good were the beef pancakes. They were good the next day too. Service: a bit slow but no other complaints. Ambience: a good amount of indoor seating, a bit bright, and not the most inviting interior.

Friendly vibes and good service. Would go with friends if they wanted to go. Parking situation is great, easy to find parking. Recommend: beef noodle soup, beef rolls. Criticisms: knife cut noodles are too soft, soup is watery and salty, and dishes don't have very much meat in general.

If you haven't tried noodle St get in your car now and head over immediately! In all seriousness, I didn't know what to expect from this restaurant and I was blown away. I was doing a happy dance the entire time we were there. QINGHAI CLEAR COLD NOODLE- Chewy noodles served with a chili and vinegar sauce. They are topped with fresh garlic and scallions. I could have eaten many servings of this. BEEF ROLL PANCAKE- Beef, green onions, cilantro and hoisin sauce wrapped in a soft and buttery pancake. This is probably the best beef roll pancake I've ever had. SPICY BEEF NOODLE- Chunks of beef shank, kale, pickled veggie, cilantro and green onions. The meat was so tender and the spicy level was perfect. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

I was meeting my foodie friend there at 12:30. The parking lot has limited space, which made it an extra challenge to park. Orders are placed at the counter and they call your number once your food is ready. The dining room consists of mostly booth seating with one "communal" table, and counter seating with 5ish chairs. There are also a handful of tables set outside. I've really been enjoying banh mi and their Bulgogi beef sandwich sounded great. I also happen to have a thing for popcorn chicken, so I got an order of that to round out my lunch. Oh, and based on the rave reviews I've read about their peach & lychee green tea, I ordered one of those as well. Let me just say, lunch was very satisfying! The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good.
