I believe in Angels and I believe that, if you are very lucky, you may meet one. I also believe our family recently met one. He goes by the name of Andre Santamaria of Senior Living Selections in Sarasota, Florida. We needed to find an assisted-living facility within days for our father who had suffered a severe stroke. It was a worrisome and difficult time made worse since he lived alone in Florida and, because of Covid, we could not get to him to arrange for his care. And, then, Mr. Santamaria came into our lives and began to work his magic. He visited Dad several times at the rehab. facility to which he had been transferred after his hospital stay so as to get an idea of his needs and the type of facility best suited to those needs. Throughout this process, Mr. Santamaria was ever available, pleasant and helpful. He was always there to discuss our concerns and options and to allay our anxieties. His empathy, patience and kindness were incalculable. In just a couple of days he turned potential disaster into success and found a suitable environment which best fit the needs of our Dad. We will be forever grateful to Mr. S. Indeed, I shudder to think what would have happened were it not for him. In truth, I think he could have done no more for a member of his own family. I wish my family had contacted Andre sooner!!! We live out of state from my grandfather and when the time finally came to look for his assisted living facility we honestly had no clue where to even start. Well after multiple trips from out of state to look at different communities , to be honest we were disgusted at some of these places and how they cared for their patients . I've known Andre for a number of years and reminded my family he had worked in this field for years and we should reach out . Little did we know he had started his own business to help families with what we were looking for . One simple call and told him our wants ,needs and budget and within a few hours he had a two really nice facilities to consider both were night and day better than the ones we had found online. We chose the one Andre recommend and my family will forever be grateful . My grand father is not only getting the treatment he needs but he's getting the attention that the other communities lacked. He's actually doing better and enjoying his friends at his community. Our family was in a sudden need for a place for my 73 year old mentally and physically handicapped sister. She needs total assistance with dressing, bathing, transport, really everything. The facility needed to be small enough and caring enough to meet her many needs. After just one rather lengthy phone call with Ginger, I was able to convey to her how unusual her needs are. The very next day, Ginger called to tell my that she had found the perfect place for my sister. It is just a couple of miles from her siblings and has exactly the kind of supervision and assistance that we wanted for her. The room had just been vacated and was being refurbished with new floors, paint, etc. It is a lovely room with lots of windows, closet space and her own bath. The staff are so sweet and gentle with her while encouraging her to try to strengthen her legs and arms so that she can gain some mobility. We could not be happier with the facility, or with Ginger who took us under her wing like family to find her a room and help us to make this move as smoothly as possible. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received during my recent attempt to refill my CPAP machine equipment. During my conversation with a representative named Tom, I attempted to explain my situation and hoped for a resolution to prevent similar issues in the future. However, Tom responded defensively, citing the high volume of customers, which I understand. Despite my efforts to clarify that I was not complaining but seeking a resolution, Tom abruptly ended the call. Upon calling back, I was shocked to discover that Tom is the owner of the company. This experience is in stark contrast to the excellent service I have received previously. Given that the owner's demeanor was so unprofessional, I am concerned that this attitude may reflect the company's culture. As a result, I have decided to seek supplies from a different provider. I am sharing this review in the hope that others will be aware of the potential for unprofessional interactions with Tom. read more

I had the pleasure to work with Andre and can honestly say I was very impressed and grateful for the warmth and care he expressed not only to the Resident but the Residence Families as well!
