Chicken & Fried Rice Hibachi Bowl and egg rolls.

We were in town for a swim meet and this place was close by. The food and service here were so great!! We had the chicken bowl, steak bowl, egg rolls and cheesecake egg rolls with strawberry dipping sauce. Everything was delicious!! The rice is amazing and I loved the jalapeño popper egg rolls! Plus the owner was extremely thoughtful and generous when I left my purse at the restaurant and didn't realize it until we had already left town. He offered to take it to my daughter's swim team's hotel after restaurant hours. I am forever grateful and highly recommend this place for food and service. Also, the Christmas pillow decorations in the windows in October were a definite bonus!!

Well, this place is fast casual, the clever name drew us in. The decor is kind of industrial modern. The menu is, as the name suggest, half fajitas and half rice bowls. Portions were generous. Presentation was attractive. Produce seemed fresh. Vegetables were cooked properly, not overdone. Proteins were tender and tasty. My fajita salad had a dusting of Cotija cheese that gave it a little extra pop. We were greeted by a quickwitted and charming host who took our order, but all the staff were friendly and helpful!

We were passing through and staying at a nearby Airbnb for the evening and popped in to Senor Changs just before check in time so it was early afternoon and we were the only customers there. I saw the great reviews and thought we should give this a try. Upon entering, the clean smell was so nice and the lady that greeted us was very kind and explained the menu so well since it was our first visit. I chose the the steak and shrimp hibachi bowl and my husband chose the chicken hibachi bowl. I loved that they stir fried fresh seasonal veggies for the bowls and it all tasted so fresh. The star of the show is the meat. It is all very well seasoned and the fried rice had corn in it, which I enjoyed. We order the jalepeno popper eggrolls as a side and those were so delicious. The texture was very creamy in the middle as it looks like they take all of the popper ingredients like cream cheese, bacon, jalepeno, etc. and blend it all together for the middle of the eggroll. They were piping hot and very good. I wish I did not live so far away; because I would definitely order from them regularly. I would be interested in trying everything on the menu because the food we received was so hot and fresh. Their sauces are very nice too. I highly recommend!

Great place, friendly staff, clean area to eat. Chang's would do GREAT in Houston,TX! It has a good truck feel in terms of hustle in the kitchen but really great flavored food like from a fancy Hibachi grill. I would definitely come back when in San Angelo! I hope they are going to expand to several different locations. This food is too good not to share it in other parts of town. Thank you Señor Chang's!

We love the welcoming attitude of this San Angelo gem. Service is excellent and fast because they seem to have such a caring owner and a fusion of stand up to order with sit down to servers' assistance. The egg rolls come in so many tempting flavors. As mentioned in some of my other reviews I really dig local places. Even more when they come up from grass roots and come up shining. This place is not just new but fun, and awesome. San Angelo didn't have legit Asian Fusion before, but this is now where its at. I will explain my rating against super brand spanking new Panda Express. Fried Rice Senor Changs wins Tasty,Huge helpings, awesome Eggrolls Senor Changs all DAY Black beans,corn, fajita beef?! BOOM Menu originality Cmon! teriyaki tacos?! WOW!!! Amazing all around! Super cute on the inside and really fast service! I saw the good reviews and came here with my roommate and we both loved it. We both got hibachi bowls with steak and shrimp. The sautéed veggies and fried rice were some of the best I've ever had. 10/10 recommend to anyone. They also have big red as a fountain drink which is always a plus. read more

Surprisingly really good hibachi for the price! Large plates with the right combination of rice veggies and protein. No white sauce or creamy dipping sauce except for the cilantro lime which wasn't bad! Also doesn't sell alcohol which was a bummer. Drive through makes it convenient but walking in and getting to go is just as fast it seems! read more

Went to Señor Changs for the 1st time and ordered the shrimp hibachi. I have to say, it was quite tasty! I went during lunch time and my order took no more than ten minutes. Ample parking, easy to find, great food. One of my new favorite places to get lunch. read more

Looked at the reviews and drove over to give it a shot after a long day. It's 5:45 p.m. (weekday) doors are locked and no signs are posted as to why the restaurant is closed. Fantastic food. I've grabbed food a couple of times and it has always exceeded expectation. If you're looking for something different, get your hibachi bowl spicy. Overall good flavor. The only downside is the size and age of the building but from what I understand a new location is coming and hopefully that will solve those problems. read more

This is actually for the N Chad location. Put in phone order. Repeated order 2 times to employee. Picked up in drive through. Repeated order 2 times again while paying. Order was still wrong. Also Ordered 3 egg rolls. No sauce was given and had to ask for it. $33 bucks for 2 meals that were wrong and I had to ask for items doesn't sound. Food was good though. I am in town from NJ and my sister and niece took me here for lunch. I had the spicy steak and shrimp. This was hands down the BEST food I have eaten. I am military and have been all over eating all kinds of food and this food is DELICIOUS!! Not to mention the service and hospitality was AMAZING. It is like a Mexican Chic Fil A!! Talk about great food! We have gone to Senor Chang's several times and are never disappointed. The service is outstanding, everyone is extremely friendly. You can certainly tell that the people there truly enjoy providing amazing food to their customers. In my opinion, the environment in an establishment is just as important as the service, in this case, the food you are providing, and these guys have got it down. Absolutely amazing food and service. We have several hibatche style places here in town but I hands down believe this one takes the cake. You do not pay near what you pay at the other hibatche's, you get the same if not more food, and the service is outstanding. The resturaunt is super clean which is also a plus. I think my favorite part is the owner is so incredibly kind. He always thanks customers for coming in. You dont find a place like this every day. It is a hidden gem. read more

Señor Chang's is awesome! They have great food at a great price. I've never tried anything there that I didn't like. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and willing to accommodate you. The only negative is that you leave there smelling like the food you just ate (so I usually call it in and drive through) I'd highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Great food! I haven't gone in to sit down and eat but I have called in an order several times and picked it up through the drive-thru. I love their teriyaki chicken bowl. Prices are pretty reasonable, definitely cheaper than the other hibachi grills here in town. Plus I can get it to go, so that is a win in my book. read more

Absolutely fabulous food and service! I eat there on a regular basis! Extremely affordable and the portions are more than generous! If you haven't yet experienced this place, you're missing out! And no, I do not live in San Francisco, California despite what Yelp says my location is. Not sure why it says that. read more

This place is amazing and the food is delicious. It's great to see a local owner who cares so much about his business and clients. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are friendly and efficient. I recommend trying the steak and chicken teriyaki with cheesecake eggrolls for dessert. read more
