Won't let me do 1/2 stars but my real rating is 3.5. Service is good. Seated right away. Price isn't bad. The bag is a nice portion. I usually get the Special- 1/2 pound of crab legs, 1/2 pound of shrimp, instead of potatoes I do 2 corns and it also comes with 2 eggs. I also add a side of broccoli to my boil. It's surface clean and therefore not dirty or I wouldn't even eat there, but it's not the level of clean I'd like to see. The food was good the customer service was very much trash. From the front door and the hostess station they were rude and dismissive. When I rude I mean talking over me. Assuming I'm with one party when I'm telling them I don't know those people and still tried to seat me with them. Our server was clearly going back and forth with someone or some people on her phone. She kept texting. Forgot our food several times. Messed up the orders three times. Had a nasty attitude and just could not, would not smile. We could all tell that she was going through something. That doesn't dismiss our entire experience being bad to the point we left earlier before we were done eating. I'm not interested in returning although the food was good. This is really my only option for a seafood boil in the town, solely bc of the sauce. I love the Juicy Special Extra Hot with Letter D choice of boil. Recently I started coming just to order sauce for home. The seafood isn't like the best but it's definitely not the worse. This is the second or third time at King Crab. The food is always good! I was a bit surprised at how few potatoes (2 small) and corn you get with meal (1 small quarter). The drinks were also very expensive. But the Cajun butter is so good. This is definitely a place you go to treat yourself to some decent seafood. I had the shrimp and lobster tail. Both very good. My family had the clams and they enjoyed them. Our daughter had the King crab legs Ava while they were good, she struggled to get them open and our server forgot her tools. When you are seated, the host places a long paper on the table, as you are sure to make a mess. While it seems juvenile, wear your bib! The meal can get messy. Great visit I stopped in just after opening, I ordered the daily special which comes with 1lb crab legs , sausage, corn , potatoes , shrimp, 2 eggs. No complaints except for the fact the server came back after I ordered and told me they were out of eggs . It's like a sin to eat a seafood boil with no eggs but they managed to put a smile on my face by offering extra and potatoes , the sauce was particularly better than usual I ordered the juicy special extra Hot very buttery and had nice size chunk's of garlic in it. Anybody who knows seafood boil spots come a dime a dozen it's all about the sauce and how stingy they are with their crab legs that separates them in my opinion lol . King Crab for the win! They are usually not busy and quick to seat you upon arrival. The food comes out quickly. Since we don't live close to a Juicy Seafood, King Crab is typically our next stop. We've only tried this location once, but were thoroughly impressed. The crab is not priced too expensive and the environment is very quiet and low key. I know this place has had some recent less than stellar reviews but I don't think those were very fair, so here is my detailed birthday experience from this past Saturday. Atmosphere: Cute. Definitely can't mist from the the outside. Very adorable decor. Love the chalkboard wall in the entranceway and the pirate stature. They handled it gracefully when our party size went from seven to four on the day of. Our server was a young guy and I'm so sorry I didn't get his name because he was friendly, made recommendations, checked on a us a few times and refilled drinks when asked. (This is an Asian ran seafood experience. Service is traditionally brisk, so if you aren't used to it, you might consider it rude. It's not, they just don't like to trouble people who are eating unless they are needed. It takes exactly two seconds to ask for something.) Food: So I love cajun seafood boils. Crab is my favorite thing. We built our own and went with four lobster tails, two pounds of snow crab and a pound of head off shrimp. We added two orders or potatoes, two orders of corn and one order of broccoli. (Honestly, the broccoli absorbed to much seasoning, so Id pass on that for noodles next time.) The sauce we went with is the Juicy Special. A combo of all the seasonings mixed with butter. And heat level was mild as most of my family doesn't handle spice as well as I do. It was really good. I could have poured that boil sauce on the paper table cloth and eaten it. (No joke, the provide spoons so you can drizzle it on your seafood after you peel/crack it. We used them to add the sauce to our bowls of rice. (Which we added on extra.) One hundred percent would come back here again. Price: You can complain all you want that the cost is high. Welcome to America in 2023. Everything is high and it's seafood. These people provide nice food and service. And I thought it was pretty much on par with the other local boil options. Two apps, 3 soft drinks, 3 bowls of rice, some cajun fries and a build your own boil was below $200 (Before tip). We are large eaters and we were all stuffed, so amount compared to price was just fine. Left a $50 tip for our server because he earned it. We definetly plan on coming back here again. I am absolutely a seafood boil lover. This one just recently opened up and had to give it a try. Nice atmosphere inside. Not to busy for a Saturday evening. I visited the restaurant in Sat . June 3, and the staff was very rude. I asked him to throw something out for me and he ignored me so I thre wit in the nearest garbage I seen. The manager then proceeds to my empty can out the trash and slam it into the bucket on my table. My friend and I kept asking the waitress for information on the manger for (name and such) and they gave us a hard time even twilling us anything. We finally spoke to the manager and he was very rude, going off saying he did t want to argue yet not hearing out side of story . How dare you slam anything on my table while I pay money to go here? First sign should've been the almost empty restaurant on Saturday at 8pm. While the waiter was good, the food was not. My date had the fried shrimp and fries. The breading on the shrimp just fell off, but they were large. We had the calamari. which were just rings served with sweet and sour sauce. I ordered the lobster and crab poboy with onion rings. For $17 I had a spoonful of whatever overly-mayo meat they scraped together along with large pieces of lettuce and tomato. I didn't notice the lack of meat until I took my 1st and only bite of basically a veggie sandwhich. When I told my waiter I didn't like it and wanted something else, like so many other reviews before mine, there was nothing he could do but offer me 10% off. While I managed to get it up to 15% off it didn't really put a dent in our $65. Btw, we did have a Long Island Ice tea and and Bahama Mama, which were decent.
