Great food and service! I'm from OKC and every time we come up to Tulsa we always eat here!

My husband and I brought our 2 year old came in for dinner tonight and we were looked over by the staff and Pablo while waiting to be seated. A party of 4 came in and yelled out to Pablo by name and was seated immediately. we also had about 4 people waiting before us who were skipped then too and a larger party about 5-6 people came in and was also seated immediately before us. Wish I could give this a 4.5 star! Almost perfection but not quite. We elite Yelpers have to set the bar high don't you think? Carnitas are my fav! I live in South Tulsa but will travel to Sapulpa just to enjoy a meal that I will take home because the portions are so huge and I'll have for lunch or dinner the following day. I usually don't give out terrible reviews. But this place we had a terrible experience the first go around. We thought we would give it another try. I order the enchiladas verdes both times. The second time which was about 10 mins ago. My enchilada meat tasted like it had been watered down and the meat was still pink once I got to the middle of the enchilada. They had to bring me new refried bean because the ones on my plate was literally water. Like no joke my enchiladas and rice was soaked because the refried beans had soaked in it. We will not be giving them another shot. Our waitress didn't even check on us. I had to flag her down from talking in the corner with the other waitresses. Terrible service! read more

The wife and I decided that we wanted to try a different restaurant than our usual and decided on Senor Pablo. The reviews were consistently good and so we were intrigued and compelled to give it a go. Let me tell you, we weren't disappointed. The chips and salsa were on point with 3 different salsas. The fire roasted and the jalapeño sauce were my fav but I like spicy. Of course we ordered the Queso dip as well. I mean, who wouldn't!? We ordered up the famous Mexican Lasagne and the Chicken Habanero dishes. Both were very good. I would definitely order both again but I like to try different dishes so on our return visit (of which there definitely will be) I'll probably want to try something else. Great place, clean with a good atmosphere and the staff were attentive and polite. I would recommend giving it a go! read more

It's nice to have a great fun, family friendly Mexican restaurant in Sapulpa with great food. Have been about 4 times. I haven't found anything I didn't like yet. My favorite have been the habanero chicken enchiladas and the molcajete. The later is like fajoitas but with chicken beef and chorizo served in a molcajete. Their salsas are interesting and worth a try. They have one that looks likes whipped guacamole but is habanero-honey. Is this a five star, white tablecloth restaurant? Absolutely not. Is it the best fairly authentic Mexican restaurant in Sapulpa right now? Definitely. Worth a drive from Tulsa? You'll have to tell me. read more

love this place! they moved across the street. cute decor. they have lunch specials. we noticed they have a bar so we asked about it. right now they just have beer but they have applied for a liquor license so soon they will have a full bar including margaritas. for lunch I had a cheese enchilada with cheese sauce, beef taco, rice and beans. My husband had carne asada and the tortillas that came with his seemed to be homemade and really good. oh, when we first got there they gave us chips (really good) and 3 types of hot sauce. this place is authentic mexican food. read more

Place is clean and well lit. Service was great and food came out fairly quickly. I had the puerco verde. The pork was awesome. Very flavorful, cooked well and the salsa verde was good although not as much flavor as I would have liked. The rice and beans were very average with little to no flavor at all. Senor Pablo's is one of my favorite places to eat in town. Try the steak burrito or chimichangas. The steak burrito is a particularly good value. Found this little gem quite accidentally as I was looking for an alternative to fast food while driving through Tulsa. Fresh flavorful Mexican for in a nice cozy setting for a good price. The chicken salad was loaded with chicken, too much to eat. The ground beef was buried under the taco salad but the blend with sour cream and their home-made zesty and 'poco picante salsa (which I added myself) was yum. The tortilla chips were hot right from the fryer, but not greasy, and the fresh guacamole was very good. We asked for avocado for our salads and we RA h got at least a half, thinly sliced, perfectly ripe but not overly ripe, avocado. The lemonade probably was not homemade but it had proper zing and was not too sweet. Overall a very good experience and the total for everything was less than $25. read more

If you're looking for traditional Mexican-American food, this may be a good stop for you. We were served a variety of 3 different sauces *Pictures posted. The red sauce was a classic tomato cilantro salsa, nothing really stood out as amazing about it. The green sauce was a jalapeno honey sauce, it was an odd combination of ingredients that I would not want to subject myself to again. The Brown sauce was a Chipotle sauce, I can't really say much about this sauce because the only noticeable taste was burnt. I ordered the Choripollo *grilled chicken and chorizo smothered in cheese sauce, served with rice, refried beans and 3 flour tortillas. This was a pleasant dish I would very much like to eat again. Our waitress was fast, she got us our food, drinks and bill however she appeared as though she wanted to be anywhere else but there. Feeling very disappointed tonight. Service was awful, meat was tuff. Took over 40 minutes to get our order. Waitress didn't refill our drinks, we had to repeat our order to waitress several times as well as ask over and over again for refills. We love coming to Pablo's usually. Food was delicious. Love the variety of salsas. Usually one of our favorite spots! However service was not so great the last time. Went with the girlfriend after a day of moving. Food is similar in style and taste to Speedy Gonzalez in Glenpool, which isn't a bad thing. She had enchiladas and I had the chimichanga and we split an order of chips with salsa and queso. They have good beer specials as well as outdoor seating when the weather allows. Service was good also. The only thing that wasn't fantastic was the girlfriend's margarita, which was off either from the mix or the booze. I haven't been to the other Mexican restaurants in Sapulpa, but this would be my recommendation so far. read more

This place should be first on your list if you are starving for some good Mexican food. The wait staff is super friendly and they all wait on you like you're royalty. The chips are super fresh. The salsa tastes as homemade as possible. There is a ground up jalapeño sauce for those with an adventure for heat. And there is also a roasted salsa that I highly recommend that is not too hot but just a little more towards the medium range. The menu is vast with multiple options from your standard nachos to chicken habanero cream enchiladas. I suggest the fish tacos! They make fresh, from scratch, flour tortillas and they go great with their fajitas. The best part is he lives in Sapulpa! Please make this a stop for your next craving of excellent food. Best Tex-Mex food in town. Always great service and the awesome green salsa is awesome and chips made fresh. Clean place and friendly staff. I usually have the steak & cheese burrito. This might actually be the best Mexican food in the Tulsa area and we are lucky it is in Sapulpa. I love Mexican food and I'm not knocking any of my other favorites but everything I have tried here has been great. My favorite is the carnitas which are very tender and have good flavor. We were thrilled to discover a really good local Mexican food restaurant in Sapulpa. We often took visiting family, groups, and house guests there. We were even more excited to have a great local breakfast taco source. We like to support our local businesses. Then, one weekend our taco order was short by 2, which we just shrugged off. Until the next weekend when all 8 tacos had egg shells in them - some as big as a nickel. Since stuff happens, I went to discuss the problem with the owner. He acted as if he did not believe me (I took a piece of the egg shell to show him): he questioned my motives, timing, and truthfulness, and was generally reluctant to treat the situation as if it mattered. He eventually reluctantly offered to remake the 10 tacos (2 that were shorted and 8 that had shells), and we scheduled that for the following weekend. Then he called and insisted on being there when that happened; I agreed to call beforehand. I called 3 times the night before. Staff answered once. The owner was not in on that Friday night, but staff said he would get the message. Maybe he did, but he did not show up the next morning. We showed up, but left empty-handed. Sometimes the way you treat customers matters. From now on, instead of driving 8 minutes to Senor Pablo's, we'll drive 15 minutes to Torchy's for breakfast tacos and to Chuy's or Chimi's or Los Cabos for Mexican food. We're disappointed, but it's not the only source for good Mexican food, just a slightly closer source. read more

This is our go to Mexican place in the immediate vicinity. The roasted salsa is awesome and the chips are thin and fresh. The homemade margaritas are amazing and I especially love the mango. The chorizo dip is dynamite and I'd love to know where they get their chorizo. I haven't had any that compares to the flavor of this one. My husband and son love the enchiladas and chimichangas. I always order the carnitas and appreciate the tender, slow cooked meat mixed with the crispy bits-so good! I really love the rice and beans here, I find that I am unhappy with it at a lot of restaurants. The one criticism I have here is that the service is so erratic. It's very hit or miss, you're never sure if it's going to be good or terrible. We, however, are able to ignore that for the food. read more
