The catering spread!! Omg!! So good
    Lauren O.

Aw man,I think this place fell off. Still no salsa bar and containers that can't even fit a chip to try to dip in. I ordered chili lime chicken said and in the past, it's my favorite salad. This time, they didn't provide enough dressing so my salad was mostly dry.. very tiny container and 1/16th of an avocado. Two small slivers. Bummer! I actually have a pic of how the salad used to look in my previous review here, so I can really see the difference. And The tortilla chips tasted like they were made in bad oil. I also got a fiesta bowl, any sour cream is extra$. Just overall, not what it used to be.

Always a good meal at Senor Salsas! My wife and I frequent this place when we are in the mood for a quality meal with fresh ingredients. Place is right on the Post Rd. and has a parking lot. It's an order at the counter and take seat type of place, no server. My go-to is always the Steak Fajita, i either get the soup or the platter. I prefer the soup a little more, just feel like it captures more of the steak chili flavor. The platter is served over a bed of rice with a crunchy tortilla bowl. My wife gets the Chili Lime chicken salad which is her absolute favorite salad to get anywhere. Good size portion and is always fresh and spot on. Kudos to Senor Salsas for including free chips and salsa which should be normalized everywhere, we love this place!

I've been a fan of Señor Salsa for so many years and every time I return the quality never wavers! The burritos are the perfect size and packed in beautifully, the quesadillas have the perfect ratio of excess tortilla to filling and cheese, the nachos are so loaded you'd think they were Jeff Bezos himself on a platter-- needless to say this spot knows how to give you the biggest bang for your buck I will always remain loyal to this wonderful establishment!

They need to change the name to Poca Salsa!!! The Salsa bar is no longer available! You have to ask for hot or mild, and they are very weird about getting both or salsa verde. A great thing totally ruined. Los Tacos #1 in the city still had their salsa bar...and it's the city! The big apple...ain't no one worried about Covid right now. What did the landlord increase the rent or something? Either way, 5 stars down to 2 stars. Oh how I've grown..."Senior Salsa" apparently has not.

    Chips are good.

We were a group of motorcyclists that started at Chipotle in Bridgeport but the wait was 40 mins with only 5 customers on line. Workers there didn't care so we left and headed over to Senor Salsa which was recommended by a friend. Glad we went because we were immediately served upon arrival. Small restaurant but pretty busy when we arrived in the afternoon. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outside because it was crowded. Menu consisted of typical Mexican dishes which were very good. Nice spot for a quick lunch which suited us well. We definitely would go back. Saw some bad reviews of this place but not during our visit. So far so good.

Been at Senor Salsa a few times now. I always for the Cancun Shrimp Burrito and haven't been disappointed so far. This time I went during COVID and first thing that caught my eye was no salsa bar! I understand, but I miss the salsa! Second thing everybody working wears a mask except the manager--not leading by example it's called. Thirdly it was kinda dirty, the tables were not cleaned in between costumers, and they have enough personnel that day. Lastly the burrito is not quite matching up with the pre-COVID one. It was still alright though, but I hope they will step up their game.

This a a great spot for a quick bite! I couldn't believe how quickly the staff was able to dish out so many orders in the short time I was there! Senor Salsa seems to mostly operate as a take-out spot, but the seating and ambiance is charming enough to sit down and enjoy a meal in the space, too. Excellent eats!

It is small, but very nice place for fast and not too expensive meals. We would stop by again!!! And I do recommend to try.

In town for a few days and a "tacos" yelp search led me to Bodega Taco Bar. Very glad to have…read moredropped by. Great experience. Highly recommend each of these: Bodegarita - Cazadores, luxardo triplum, lime juice, agave...this is their classic marg. Nice balance, well mixed. Bodega Original Guacamole...fantastic. Basic in a good way. Very avocado forward. Not over-salted. The chips were fresh and not salty..again in a really good way. I did ask for a few lime wedges to add a little juice, but the guac was excellent. Pork Carnitas - Crispy potatoes, onion, serrano-avocado crema, cilantro...very good. Americano - Seasoned ground beef, manchego cheese, salsa de russa, crispy taco...kinda unique. A little like a big mac meets a taco. Unexpected but very glad I tired. Gambas - Seared ancho chili shrimp, cucumber-mango salsa, chipotle mayo...my favorite one. 5-start taco. Chicken Tinga - Tomato braised chicken, cotija cheese, mexican crema...excellent as well. Service was very good. Attentive, prompt and gave good/accurate recommendations. Didn't laugh at all my jokes. That's ok- few do. Set back from the Post Road, I must have driven passed here a million times. Unassuming storefront. Cozy spot. 5 table tops and 5-ish tables. A nice bar w/ excellent tequila options. The decor matches the food and experience if that makes sense. No brainer 5 stars from me. I'll be back and I'll certainly recommend.

Road trip to Boston…read more.. Needless to say it was a Friday afternoon and traffic was a pain from the start. A quick little yelp search and we had an instant detour for some sustenances, while we let the other motorist continue on their way. Bodega, located in a small little shopping strip, is also small and quaint. Not much wiggle room so be prepared to be neighborly. We arrived half past 4, just in time for HH @ the bar. So we grabbed some seats at the end of the bar where Alex the bartender took care of us. We started with Passionritas (passion fruit margs) and guacamole. Both were equally delish and the guac is bowl licking worthy. However, I do not recommend since you are dinning in public. Lol. In addition we ordered the bodega blistered brussels sprouts and baja tacos to share. The sprouts were an absolute stand out. I opted for the Mexico City Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Presented slightly deconstructed, which didn't take anything away from the great taste. We had an absolute great experience from Alex our bartender whom was very impressionable to Diego (possible manager) whom also made a nice impression. We tried a few more margs before our departure. With the hibiscus being one of my faves. A wonderful spontaneous detour, that will now be a welcomed stop on future road strips north. Just A Note: - HH @ the Bar only (Tues-Fri 4-6pm) - You can take Bodegaritas to-go they have them bottled for sale.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there were no cars in parking lot so I was unsure if they were open. They were. I entered and it took some time before I was acknowledged and I almost left...but after waiting at front I was told to sit wherever I chose; the place was empty and I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was gracious, friendly, and accomodating. Super guy. I ordered a margarita and nachos with steak. Both were delivered quickly. Tortilla chips were said to be made in house, but these were not. They were multi.colored and not made in house. Nacho cheese from a can, not cheddar as advertised. Like the cheese you get at a 7 11 or gas station. Yuck. I was not impressed at all by nachos or steak and at $18 would never order again. Service was top notch and friendly, and the place was clean, inclluding the restrooms. Great Happy Hour deals daily so may return for that but cannot recommend the nachos.
