I recommended this restaurant to a friend I was meeting up with after nearly a decade of long-distance friendship. She wanted something Mexican. I arrived, was greeted immediately, and sat at a table just outside to the left, which was quite nice. There were flowers, but they were a bit overgrown, making it slightly uncomfortable to sit. Our waitress, Kathy, was fantastic! She introduced herself, took our appetizer and margarita orders. We waited for our food and tried the guacamole with shrimp and pineapple it was a bit different, but the flavors blended really well. After she had her Birria Taco and I decided to have another drink instead and take home the Birrria Flauta under the share plates. I was surprised that for $15, it only came with one, but that single flauta was really delicious -- I ate it once I got home. Overall, my experience was great. This place was so delicious! The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The food was super delicious! The guac and chips are a must. They make the guac fresh, basically right in front of you and the tortilla chips are very unique. I got a chicken quesadilla but they added such flare to it that it was the best one I've had. Geronimo deserves five stars! My family and I came here for lunch today and were not disappointed!! First, I want to mention that the decor is stunning and feels very rustic but chic. Next, I want to comment on the service. Dave was a phenomenal server and checked on us continually. He was very personable, asked us about ourselves, and took great care of us. The manager also stopped by our table to make sure all was well and left us with huge smiles. My five family members and I each enjoyed our meals and drinks so much we left with full bellies and no room for dessert. I actually did not get a chance to tell them but we were actually celebrating my parents 33rd anniversary so thank you to everyone at Geronimos for making my parents' big day so special. Been there many times an always walked out very full. The guacamole and chips were very good, even though I spilled the chips at least 5 times, don't blame me, but it was good. Then I ate a very lovely cheese burger, that tasted very much like lovely cheese burger. Then I had to end off that amazing meal with dessert. I got the churros and fried ice cream. No words about that one, but I will say no food was wasted. Ambiance was lovely, I was fortunate to sit at the scorpion table, yes yes I know very lucky of me. Dined on 06/17/2023 (review taken from open table) : I recently celebrated my 26th Birthday at Geronimos with about 18 people in attendance . The GM James made sure it was taken care of my party even had my table out on patio! Brian was our server and he was so attentive to me and my friends. We can be picky folks but he handled it was ease. We were really apprentice of him being ok with doing separate checks and I know that can be a difficult task. We ordered a variety of items, we started with gaucamole and salsa and a few margarita from the bar all was DELICIOUS . The table ordered an array of tacos, quesadillas and burritos etc. for dinner , most plates were basically cleaned. I would definitely return to do another big party of just a causal dinner with someone. I would probably request the server I had Brian again because he did such a great job. The food and vibes (and playlist!) are perfect for a fun night out with friends! Our group ordered the table side guacamole to share which was outstanding. It was so fresh and served alongside delicious, crispy tortilla chips. This is a must-get appetizer if you're a guac fan. It's a pretty generous size too - one order served our big group of 7 as a starter. I had the Birria tacos as my main and they were everything you would expect - crispy, cheesy, stuffed with tender, flavorful meat. It's a fun place to go with a group, but the pricing is too high for what they serve. Two drinks at the bar should not be $30! Including the tip, it was $36. I could buy a bottle of Tito's and a seltzer for less than what I paid for the two drinks. The atmosphere and service is great. It's just not somewhere I would go if not looking for a space for a large group. No one had complaints about the food, but no one had great reviews about it either. I personally recommend getting the Nachos Borrachos to share instead of the guacamole just because for $6 more you get a HUGE platter and it's easier to divide. They accommodate larger parties well with options for indoor and outdoor seating-- with a DJ! Really torn between 3 and 4 stars. Large restaurant with a spacious adjacent parking lot, but finding parking spot on Saturday night was not easy. Love the ambiance and decor, a happening place with lots of energy (don't hope for a quiet conversation there though). The drinks were strange. Few people in our party ordered El Palmer - a mix of passion fruit ice tea and lemonade - this drink was devoid of any sugar, but also of any flavor, just some tart liquid. I had mint julep, and it was underwhelming. Table side guacamole was superb, it was devoured within minutes. I had Buffalo steak Chile as a first dish and it was excellent. As my second dish I ordered cauliflower Al Pastor tacos. When I was deciding on the tacos, I asked our waiter if cauliflower was crispy - I had this type of tacos once before and it was heavenly - and I was told "of course". The tacos I received had some florets of soggy cauliflower- not what I was hoping for at all. Everyone's food experience in our group was also up and down. Used to really like this place but you can tell the quality has nose dived. We loved their truffle Mac and cheese that comes with the ribs but twice now, there was no truffle oil drizzle on top. Also ordered guacamole with "chicharrones" and was given pork rinds -_- be so fr. There was a time, pre-COVID, when I would patronize Geronimo's 2-3x a month. Loved the food and service. Post-COVID, they have struggled to the point where there was too much inconsistency. Tonight, the bride and I went back and had another bad experience. An inattentive waiter failed to deliver appetizers, one entree' was served cold and took a long, long time for remaking. It came out hot and they didn't charge. We had to beg for more water and was largely ignored for the remainder of the meal. I am usually a generous tipper but not tonight. If Geronimo's keeps a list of customers who are persona non gratis because they caused a troublesome scene, I would like my name added to their list. I didn't cause a scene - I just want to make sure that in the unlikely event I am ever tempted to go there again, they will deny me at the door as unwelcome. read more

Really fun atmosphere - multiethnic, gorgeous interior storage of alcohol, middle-aged couple dancing by the window, DJ with a backwards hat bopping to his own tunes, staying Connecticut-contemporary. Only hitch is that their drinks are garbage, and they ain't cheap for being garbage. They *sound* like they have some good ingredients, but the mixers are absolutely clueless, spilling stuff everywhere, screwing up the proportions, not straining the ice correctly. I had carnitas tacos, lobster guac, and elotes. All amazing. And I appreciate the GF (gluten-free) markings on the menu, although I have a feeling it's not totally accurate. I found a lot of things I could eat. I also tasted the carne asada tacos, fantastic. And my friend got a GIANT spaghetti squash veggie bowl that could have served 4 people. Yes it's a little pricey. Definitely the most expensive guac I've ever had. But there was a TON of lobster and SO good. read more

We had a large table and here were some of our favorites; Chicken Tinga Burrito Nacho Borrachos *one of my favorite nacho dishes around Freshly made Guacamole to share Mixed Grill Molcajete Tres Leches Cake The service was very good. They were extremely busy so the wait to order food and drinks was a bit longer than expected. But, it's all good. We were in no rush. Overall, the server was friendly and as accommodating as possible. The atmosphere is outstanding. Very authentic, cool vibe. Multiple sitting areas from sitting at their large bar or bar side booths, restaurant table seating and very nice outdoor seating all year round.
