We were seated right away, not very crowded (11:30AM) and were served chips and salsa with a quick drink order. The salsa is a little runny, not spicy at all. The chips were just OK kind of thick & probably better with guacamole. I ordered their lunch mixed fajita special $10.99 for Wednesday. It had mild flavoring. I thought the quality of steak and chicken was really good along with the side beans and rice. I like the seating decor and thought this would be a good place for groups. I will be back to try their margaritas, guacamole, and burrito that I hear is really good. read more

Not super impressed. The drinks were GREAT I will say. I got a strawberry marg and it was delicious. They also brought out complimentary shots - on a plane? I'm not sure what the shots were but they were good! Service was also great. However, the chips and dips were not good. The salsa was so disappointing. The guac, queso, and pico were very bland and flavorless as well. I didn't get a chance to try any of their meals so I can't speak for their other food items. Hoping they are better than their dips! I would come back just for drinks, but nothing else. read more

SO GOOD! I fell in love with Senor Tequila in Fremont so it's so great they have an Omaha location now too! Between the Fremont location and this one, I've tried so many things and everything has been amazing. My favorite is anything topped with the queso and salsa verde, and of course a Lime Margarita. This is truly my favorite margarita in Omaha. The service was also really good. An overall great experience every time! read more

I don't ever write reviews good or bad, but their Green verde sauce is by far the best verde in the United States. Great service great food. Had the burrito gigante. Next time i will ask for a 16 oz cup of the verde sauce to drink and would be good sipping on it. read more

It was better than I expected. I had a HUGE burrito and the green sauce was excellent. I asked for hot sauce and it was still kind of mild but it was flavorful. Tried the margarita flight, that was great. Staff was friends and the place was very clean. read more

Great dinner experience tonight. First off service was great. Friendly and checked on us often. Complimentary chips and salsa. Great chips. Salsa had good flavor just wish it was spicier. I will get the only negative out of the way. The refried beans were just ok. I'm more of a real refried with lard from meat person. The tacos al pastor had good flavor. The beef fajitas were excellent. They kinda float here between authentic Mexican and Mexican for white people. Like the pico de gallo doesn't have any chili peppers in it. Giving it 5 stars on the service and freshness of the food. Maybe next time I just ask what they can do to make it SPICY. read more

Senior Tequilas is of the same suite as the restaurant in Fremont. Corn chips and salsa were delivered complementary, chips were good, crisp, not stale. Salsa was a tomato sauce based salsa which was pretty good. We started off with a Blue Margherita and a Margherita Flight (Mango, Watermelon, Strawberry, and Lime). All had a good flavor, these do not kick you like some other restaurants in Omaha. We had the Pollo Michoacano; seared chicken breast topped with chorizo, grilled onions, and cheese. Served with a roasted jalapeño, beans and rice, and tortillas. Caritas Dinner which had large chunks of roasted pork with onions, served withe lettuce, guacamole, Pico, and sour cream. Enchiladas Verdes, chicken enchiladas covered in Verde sauce, cones with lettuce tomatoes and sour cream and a side of rice. Now I'm not going to get into a debate on 'authentic' Mexican food, but I know what I like. There wasn't one thing on our table I would turn down. Food was enjoyable, service was attentive and polite. We will be back. read more

After a day of errands and yard work, sometimes you just want carryout, right? And Mexican food usually travels well, so, Senor Tequilas it was! I ordered online and it was ready very quickly -- faster than predicted -- but I was close by, so it all worked out. Carryout comes with chips and salsa, which is lovely, because I usually load up on that when I dine in, and the salsa is good. My main dish was a cheesy rice and chicken concoction called Pollo Senor Tequila. It has little to no spice, but is such a comfort food, I really like it. And even if I chow down out of control, there's always enough for lunch the next day. No rave reviews for the sopapillas, though, which is sad. I was looking firward to a sweet treat. Perhaps they were delightfully air-filled and fluffy right out of the oil (but Im doubting it), as I like to remember sopapillas as being, but when I looked in the bag at home, they looked like tortilla chips drizzled with chocolate and topped with sprinkles. Not worth the calories, for sure. Stick with the main dishes, Ive tried a few and they're pretty good. read more

My bosses asked if I had to give a 1-5 rating, what would it be. I said 3 because the food was solid. I rate them a 4 here because our server was attentive the entire time we're there. I ordered steak tacos and it came with rice and beans (I don't remember what my bosses ordered, I think it was burritos). The salsa flavor was mild, almost to the point of bland. The food was great and reasonably priced.The owner came to our table and actually wanted to get to know us where we were from and what we thought about his food. most places we go to eat the manager or owner hide in the back room and you never hear there's an issue. The food sizes are plentiful and our pitcher of margaritas Senior Tequila has taken over where cilantro's used to be. We were excited to try this NEW Mexican restaurant and it's asombroso! We meet the owner and manager they are both very professional and check in with all their guests ! This is his 4th restaurant, there's on in Fremont , Wayne and Vermillion SD. Very friendly staff, and yes complimentary chips and salsa but that's about all I can say that was a positive. Beer was warm and overpriced. Food was not hot and came out within a couple minutes of ordering so you can assume that it was warmed in the microwave. Did not have that true flavor that Mexican food is known for. Yes they do bring free shots of Tequila Sunrises in a cute airplane after your meal but could not taste any Tequila in them but nice gesture. We lived in AZ for many years and know really good Mexican food and this place was a total fail for us. So many other good Mexican food restaurants in Omaha that we will not be back. read more

I met my Aunt and Mom here for lunch and the food was excellent! I had a taco salad and she had fish tacos. Both so good! I couldn't believe how much food we received! We walked in close to closing time, but received a warm welcome. We sat and we were given crunchy chips and salsa right away. The waiter suggested a margarita special that saved us a few dollars - always appreciated. The drinks were delicioso!! Not too sweet but plenty strong! We ordered nachos (which come with both chicken and beef) and I asked if he could put the beans on the side as my friend isn't a fan. No problem! Big plate of nachos and super tasty!
