I went into Senor Victor's to grab lunch to go. The restaurant is decorated in a fun way. The bartender took my order and even offered me a beverage while I waited for my order. I ordered the chips & salsa and the Senor tacos (which is three tacos along with beans & rice). I chose the ground beef tacos. I wanted to try both hard and soft shell tacos; however, there are absolutely no substitutions. The chips & salsa were great! Nice thick chips to go with a thinner salsa (which I like). The tacos were pretty good. One of them was missing the cheese. And I was asked what type of sauce I wanted with the tacos, but wasn't given any sauce. Instead, I received guacamole. But I'm not a fan of it. All in all, I will go back again. The portions are generous and the food is worth it. I just need to double check my order if I get it to go.

Decided to try Senor Victor's tonight after having it on my lust of restaurants to try. It's a nice location in downtown Almont with updated decor and a nice bar. We ordered the chips with trio dip and elote to start. Then got tacos and fajitas for the main course. I enjoyed the diablo sauce on the tacos. Service was pleasant and prompt from the moment we walked in the door. It was nice to see this restaurant quite busy. Also, they participate in UPromise, I found out after our visit. Definitely will return to try other items!

Food was good. But for $20 where's my fries? I regret leaving a tip. Prices get higher while food amount gets lower.

Was good until I got foot poisoning. 3rd from a Mexican "authentic" restaurant. Maybe it's from all the bacteria they spread by not washing their hands. They use the bathroom and leave without washing their hands. Never again!

What a great Mexican place. I found this place by driving through Almont and was really surprised when I opened the door. The interior is fantastic. The service is fast and friendly. The food was delicious. Between the tacos and the burrito I was in heaven. The margaritas are no joke, delicious and potent. This is a must try spot!!

This place is amazing. If your in the Almont, Mi area definitely stop into this little gem. You will not be disappointed. Everything I tried here was amazing. The service is very good they treat you like your family. Has a fun ambiance and if you like margaritas your in for a real treat. Let me know how you liked it.

We went here tonight for the first time. Everything was fresh and the chips and salsa , shredded beef taco salad and shredded beef wet burrito are delicious and the portions were very big. The service was good. The restaurant was nice and clean. We will return if ever in the area..

This place is a sight for sore eyes it's a great addition to the community, and an even better restaurant the staff is very friendly and hardworking. The food is great and well worth a visit the prices are fair. The margaritas are big and decently priced. The place felt very clean and nicely remodeled. Keep up the hard work and looking forward to seeing you guys succeed

Our server, Tanner, was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made a big difference. The table was set nicely when we arrived -- wine glass and water glass, silverware wrapped with cloth napkins on a side plate, and a candle lit off to the side. It felt thoughtful and perfect for a date night. We split the French Onion Soup to start, and it was delicious. Maybe a little pricey at $12, but it came with lots of cheese and bread (plus bread on the side), so it felt worth it as a starter. My boyfriend ordered a Long Island Iced Tea -- strong, but no complaints there -- and I got cranberry juice. Both drinks came out in the same glassware as the water, styled like cocktails, which I actually appreciated. No weird "different treatment" if you're not drinking alcohol, which is always a plus to me. We also did the Build-Your-Own Board, which was really fun, and Tanner was super helpful in guiding us through the choices. We picked Summer Sausage, Garlic & Herb Soft Cheese, Smoked Gouda, Fire Roasted Tomatoes, and Balsamic Onion Jam. The Fire Roasted Tomatoes were SO GOOD, and I usually don't even like tomatoes. They were soaking in olive oil (I think?), which had great flavor and paired perfectly with the bread and Garlic & Herb Cheese. I also really enjoyed the Balsamic Onion Jam, savory, slightly sweet, and a little goes a long way. Overall, everything tasted great. I was a little disappointed in the portion of Smoked Gouda compared to the soft cheese, especially considering some soft cheeses can retail around $30 per pound. If you're looking for the best value, you might consider a different cheese option. That said, extra bread was only $1, which felt like a great deal for the amount we received. We were honestly getting pretty full and almost couldn't finish it all. We were seated in the cellar area, which was okay, just a little small, and the music was pretty loud. Not ideal for a Valentine's date when you're trying to have a conversation. Random but important: the bathrooms were spectacular. Individual, spacious, very clean, nice sink setup, pump soap, automatic paper towel dispenser, and even a candle lit. Honestly, 10/10 bathroom experience. Overall, it's a really solid date night spot with great service and good food. Just a couple small tweaks (music volume and cheese portions!) would make it even better. We'd definitely come back.

We loved the entertainer, Kenny Gee, who was charming and fun...but not overly loud. The restaurant has a classy but unpretentious atmosphere with wonderful views of the water. We started with the Brie appetizer and calamari, and both were excellent. I had the pecan chicken. I'd definitely recommend it (as long as you don't mind a sweet sauce). My son had the crab cake, and my husband had the 8 oz filet with added bleu cheese butter. Both the guys really enjoyed their dinner (although my son was stuffed from eating too much of the good bread and butter)! We did not save room for dessert, unfortunately. It was a lovely experience and the food was for the most part very delicious. Service was friendly and good but a tad on the slow side (not our server's fault, they seemed pretty busy and I think she may have been the only waitress working, so she was absolutely juggling a ton). They were out of the "pretty potatoes" which was disappointing because they sounded super delicious. The restaurant is a little dark and when very busy can get a little loud. The three women at the table next to us were having a very loud conversation (of which I picked up every word) and I could barely hear my fiancé, which I didn't love, so the acoustics are a bit odd. That being said, the decor and vibe is very home-y and everyone that works there was very pleasant and lovely, from the hostess to the man that refilled our waters. We got the charcuterie plate (selected two cheeses and two meats; comes accompanied by fig jam, mustard, sardinian crackers, and cornichons), the caesar salad, the short rib, the arctic char, and the olive oil cake for dessert. All of the food was really exceptional and delicious except I found the short rib to be a tad dry. We each ordered a cocktail, I got a spritzer and my fiancé got a seasonal Pimm's cup-type cocktail that used house-made cranberry syrup. They can accommodate gluten free diets easily which is also a plus. Overall, we will absolutely be coming back!I want to try that Wagyu Pastrami Reuben!

Everything tasted super fresh and the menu leans more "snacky" in the best possible way -- perfect little plates that are clearly meant to pair with wine. We ordered a few things for the table and it felt like the kind of place where you just keep ordering one more thing because everything sounds good. Nothing heavy, just really well done bites that let the wine shine. Speaking of wine, the selection is awesome. It's not the usual predictable restaurant list. There are some really interesting bottles and styles on there, which makes it fun if you actually enjoy trying different wines instead of just defaulting to the same thing every time. Service was great too. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the owners are really hands-on and working hard to make the place special.
