Stopped by for a quick bite and drink. When we came here it was dead and service was pretty slow which was slightly annoying. We also did not get the complimentary chips and salsa like others. For food we got the nachos and a giant strawberry margarita. The nachos had cabbage and carrots on it which was interesting since you normally don't see those toppings on nachos. It was okay but would not order them again. As for the margarita it was perfect after a hot day. It was huge and priced well. Overall i would come back here for a drink. I started with the refreshing Caesar salad with shrimp and then I had the vegan enchiladas with green salsa. So good! I really enjoyed the vegan cheese in the enchiladas. It was really delicious. And the green salsa was so good!! I would buy a jar of it. It came with yummy refried beans and rice too. There is fun, festive, colorful decor inside. Really cool place and fun vibes. Lovvvved the fresh, flavorful food here! Pleasantly Surprised! The Man loved his steak, said it was cooked right and he likes his steak well done, not burnt or dried out and they did an amazing job! Chef Luis has introduced Fabulous new dishes to their already amazing menu. The guacamole was perfectly balanced as an appetizer with amazing blood orange margarita's. We were blown away by his mango ceviche a la playa which is absolutely fantastic!! Let your taste buds be blown away! Followed by a deconstructed red snapper a la veracruzana!! I had lunch here today with some friends and we all had a great time! One of my friends orders here frequently and the other hadn't been, like me! They have a big menu! I was surprised! When you sit they give chips and salsa for the table. Their salsa was pretty good. I ordered the flautas appetizer (as my main) and the "cup" of tortilla soup. I put quotes around cup because it was huge! I was so pleased with my food!! I feel like I've had not great flautas in Chicago and these were pretty good. There's a lot of fun decor in the place. Fantastic! I came here for a solo Sunday brunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and the blood orange margarita was delicious. I also ordered the chile relleno that was very flavorful and a nice portion size. Overall it was a great experience. I would return for sure! read more

The place was very busy! We were seated within 15 mins! The house chips and salsa were delicious! I ordered enchiladas with the green sauce and my boyfriend ordered the Al pastor tacos! I've been coming here at least once a month since they opened and gotta say it's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. They have a good variety of Margaritas made with real fruit almost always order one. The menu has gone through a couple iterations. The mole and pozole are amazing and are two of my favorite items. I sort of miss the green rice they used to have it was different and bright but I understand it wasn't for everyone so they changed it to match customer expectations. When the weather is nice the patio is a good vibe but the decor inside the restaurant is great too. Would recommend and will be back. read more

Senoritas Cantina has daily drink specials, lunch specials, and a variety of options meal wise. So far, I've visited twice and by far my favorite items are the steak tacos, steak quesadillas and the elote. I've tried a few other items and while they may not have been my favorite, I'm sure many others enjoy it. I will say, I was a bit disappointed by the drinks here however. They aren't very strong and on both occasions they seemed pretty watered down. However, the food is still good! Give it a try! read more

Stopped in here during the Lit Fest. Service was spread thin but also very crowded. Made it in time for lunch menu. Lots of vegan options for her. Chips and salsa was delicious. Burrito was super tasty with amazing sweet potato fries - would go back just for those fries! She liked her vegan tacos but one of the tacos' vegan beef was hard as a rock and totally over cooked. Much needed addition to the neighborhood. My wifey and I have been anticipating this place opening for weeks and it did not disappoint. That little stretch of Dearborn is the perfect place for some cozy restaurants. Senoritas was honestly more upscale than I thought it was going to be. The decor and ambiance are trendy and hip without being too loud. Staff were very friendly. My wife likes the spice, so she obviously got the jalapeño margarita. Which was delicious and had a good amount of heat on the finish. I got the cucumber margarita which was cool and refreshing. Followed that up with some guacamole served with both tortilla a yuca chips. Really tasty. Entree wise, she got the tacos El Pastor and I got the chicken enchiladas with green salsa. We both really enjoyed our dishes. They were very well prepared with the appropriate amount of seasoning. The protein was juicy in both dishes. We will most definitely be back. I'm really looking forward to exploring the entire menu. I wish they offered mezcal versions of their margaritas- maybe they do, I didn't ask. But it wasn't an option on the menu. Also, I wish there was an option for ala carte tacos or at least a combo taco platter. Lastly, the food here is really high quality and speaks for itself. It doesn't need any gimmicks with the pink tortillas or green rice. Overall, I'm really happy this place moved into Printers Row. It's without question better than Flacos Tacos or the recently departed Spanglish (how does a taco place literally inside a college dormitory building fail?) My sister and I went for a "sisters day" and this place was great! We had steak nachos and the mahi mahi with garlic tomatoes sauce. The steak was very seasoned and flavorful & all the toppings were very good and complimented the steak. Beans were great! The fish was fresh and clean taste and the sauce was also very flavorful with garlic pieces. The fish comes with rice and black refried beans which were all very good! We did a pitcher of margarita with Don Julio anejo & got 5 glasses. They have sugar, salt & Tajin options for the glass rims. Knocking one star for the service. Other than that - the food was excellente. We ordered a carne asada and the lunch taco platter along with the tamales. They were very good, probably the best in South loop and at par with places in Pilsen and we had no complaints. I would have loved to try out different tacos in the platter but they allow only 1 kinds. The house nachos (complimentary) came with salsa verde and they were out of the red salsa. The salsa verde didn't have any salt so we added some on the top - no complaints about that though unusual. The service was underwhelming - we walked in and the menu was provided to us 15 minutes later after asking for it, and then within 10 seconds another server asked us if we were ready to order. I think the only feedback I would give is to maybe add one more hand and organize the staff better as there was a lot of confusion and people just not sure what to do. I will definitely be visiting again, and hope that the service issues were just temporary. read more

Went back on a Thursday evening with a few people and the service was incredibly slow, the nachos were stale but the individual drinks were pretty good but the pitcher of margaritas were not strong. I think I've concluded that this is a good drink spot with some ambiance but the food is just okay. Tried this place after seeing a snap reel of how good it was. The drinks were terrible. They lacked flavor and alcohol. Served in a plastic reusable cup, made it taste even worse. Food was decent. The enchilada red sauce was more like a tomato cocktail sauce rather than a spicy enchilada sauce, it was very "ketchup" forward. The shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was decent. Welcome to the South Loop Senoritas! We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks here. Margaritas in an actual margarita glass is a plus for me :), and I thought they were delicious and well balanced. The food was all really good too. I especially enjoyed the guacamole (chips amazing), veggie quesadilla (great flavor and texture), and the carne asada entree (cooked perfectly and again great flavor). My only wish is that they did a la carte tacos and had a burrito on the menu. I enjoyed the arrachera tacos but liked the other items better. Although the food took a while, the server was very attentive and I'm sure they will work out the kinks as they just opened. Waiting for food was worth the free tequila shots they provided due to the wait ;). It's a cozy joint and I really like what they did with the space. Deducting one star because you can't have a taco be hotter than gosling and the others mere Steve Carells. I am glad this place opened in my neighborhood. It's a great spot for a date or to take your visitors. There's a wide variety of dishes, drinks, and the seating is comfortable indoors and out. Some of my favorite things is the live music, the building is long so it's easy to get a spot by the window, and the food was great. There's parking on the street and you can see your car if you sit in the window or on the patio. I ordered takeout and I was waiting for plastic ware. I stood there for a fairly lengthy period of time before they assured me someone was getting the plastic fork from their basement. The person came back upstairs empty handed and the team didn't bother to tell me they didn't have any. I was frustrated with the time I lost waiting after they assured me someone was going to get it. The whole ordeal was disorganized but stuff happens. It was overall a positive experience and I will try them again. Enjoy! read more
