I am glad this place opened in my neighborhood. It's a great spot for a date or to take your visitors. There's a wide variety of dishes, drinks, and the seating is comfortable indoors and out. Some of my favorite things is the live music, the building is long so it's easy to get a spot by the window, and the food was great. There's parking on the street and you can see your car if you sit in the window or on the patio. I ordered takeout and I was waiting for plastic ware. I stood there for a fairly lengthy period of time before they assured me someone was getting the plastic fork from their basement. The person came back upstairs empty handed and the team didn't bother to tell me they didn't have any. I was frustrated with the time I lost waiting after they assured me someone was going to get it. What a wonderful time I had at the second location. A little upscale neighborhood but the prices are the same. Started off with a tequila tasting and full on course meals made of ceviche served on a cucumber slice, tacos that are made with blue tortillas and a tres leches cake.this palce is fun on circuses. Very Mediterranean inspired hanging lamps are just gorgeous. The bar is beautiful but of course you came for the food. I am very elated to taste some delectable foods ans try some of the smoothest tequlla I've tasted yet. Very impressed with the atmosphere and when they ope. The French doors, a nice little breeze adds to the perfect night. It's defintely a little different from the 18th street location. But nonetheless just as strong and energized with staff and foods. Parking is in street and since this considered downtown, you may pay a little but more but I will be honest that this is one of the spots I wouldn't of ventured to but will be returning just because it's so much fun! read more

Tried this place after seeing a snap reel of how good it was. The drinks were terrible. They lacked flavor and alcohol. Served in a plastic reusable cup, made it taste even worse. Food was decent. The enchilada red sauce was more like a tomato cocktail sauce rather than a spicy enchilada sauce, it was very "ketchup" forward. The shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was decent. Scam. Be extremely careful. The workers will do anything to rip you off. I went with a friend and we had three margaritas each, an order of guacamole, and an extra order of the chips they serve when you walk in. The bartender who called herself a manager (and said she's there on Thursdays) charged my card without me seeing the bill (I handed it to her but didn't expect her to run it) $250. When I see the bill she had charged us for 10 margs. We did not have five each. I complained and she refunded me $80. But still?? $170 for six margs ($14), guacamole ($10) and chips ($7). The math isn't mathing. I loved this place and tried to bring them repeat business but every time I've gone recently there are random extra charges. This time was too much. They are scam artists. We were originally going to flaco's tacos but this place piqued our interest. We should have gone to flaco's tacos. The food wasn't bad. There were chicken bone(s) in my friends stuffed quesadilla. And the queso was just a hard unmanageable bowl of cheese. If your into questionable green quesadillas served on a wooden block, this place is for you! The nights entertainment was when the waitress told us to "not eat" someone that was on our plate. Also be prepared for palm leaves that the waitress thinks are cardboard. Just don't order from here. I placed an order and then was told via email that they were gonna charge another seven dollars because prices were different in the evening ( not mentioned in the menu). Unfortunately, I didn't have much choice at that point, since I was ordering for a couple of visiting friends. The food was just not good. The tamales- the masa was not cooked thru- raw (yuck). The chicken soup- over spiced with red chili you couldn't taste the chicken (one of my guest said how do you mess up chicken soup (but they found a way). Three chicken Mole enchiladas- was initially priced on the online menu at $ 13 and then added another seven dollars - when I called them to ask why the increase in price - she said because of p.m. hour prices - so that became $20 for 3 small enchiladas - those were gross and cold too- the tortillas that used in this were dry and stale even with the mole sauce (just not even edible). You'll be better off just ordering from some other place. Demasiado horrible! read more

Not bad, but not great. For appetizers, skip the queso fundido -- price was too high for too little, but it did taste very good. Do get the shrimp mahi mahi and clams ceviche for an appetizer. Ask the server for more chips if you run out. We also tried the barbacoa and the rostizado tacos. Both were good including the sides of rice and the beans (beans were best). As for the drinks, they were good but they were missing menu items...because they failed to update the menus. We originally wanted frozen margaritas but we're told even though they were on the menu, they no longer sell them. Very disappointing. The music playlist was great. We went to Senoritas on Dearborn on 5/13 at 8pm. They have 4-5 tables outside. We went inside looking to be seated. The two waitresses there looked busy and did not acknowledge us. We told them that we needed a table for 2 and one of the ladies said 'someone will seat you shortly'. We also told her that we'd like to sit outside. Waited outside for 10 mins. No one came to seat us at a table. I went inside again and asked them if it is okay to take one of the empty tables to which she said 'yes'. We sat at the table for 30mins (no joke!) with the same waitress attending to other tables next to us and not even acknowledge us! There was a wonderful elderly couple sat in the next table. When their check came she told the waitress that we have not been attended to yet. No one had given us the menu and no one even care to acknowledge our presence until then. After the nice old lady pointed out that we hadn't been given the menus yet, the waitress gives us the menu and provides no apology. We ordered our food and it took another 30 mins for it to arrive. I ordered a lime margarita with salt on the rim and when the drink came I did not see a clear salt on the rim. It was more 'salt in the drink'. When asked how the drink was, I told the waitress that I wasn't happy with the drink (considering other stellar reviews here!) and she didn't like it. She said she made it herself. I told her that it didn't matter who made it and that the drink was still not as what I had expected it to be to which she replied 'it must be you then!'. I did not want to pick a fight with her and ignored her comment. Also, the guy cleaning the tables threw unused drinks on to the road while we ate our food. Yikes! The manager later came and apologized for the bad service and the delay. It didn't make any difference since our experience was already ruined. The food was decent but it was a horrible experience with snobbish waitresses and I will not be visiting this place again! P.S.: I am tired of restaurants using staff shortage as an excuse for bad service. If you have staff shortage, then don't have as many tables in your restaurants and commit to a large crowd. I will find a restaurant that accommodates me and provides me a good service for the money I pay! read more

The queso was weird due to the mixed vegetables mixed in, including corn, carrots, peas, and green beans. The quesadilla looked more like a taco, the chicken tacos had no discernible taste, the flautas had the same bland taste. The margaritas were made some mango puree that wasn't even drinkable. When we informed the wait staff that the meals were unacceptable, they tried to credit our $75 bill with a $20 reduction. No way were we paying for meals that we found to be disgusting.
