    Seafood ramen
    Thao H.

The sweet and spicy wings were delicious! I had a blueberry martini, which was too sweet for me. My friend had a dirty martini that was really good. The seafood ramen was delish but the seafood tofu soup was just ok. It didn't have much flavor to me and small for the price.

We ordered the BBQ platter, and while the food tasted good, the rice wasn't fresh and seemed like it had been sitting out. Only two servers were working, and the one taking orders seemed rushed, causing mix-ups--our order even went to the wrong table. The wait was long, and service felt sloppy. The server should also be careful not to touch the rice bowl with their fingers and serve it properly on a platter. Despite that, the food was tasty and the ambiance was pleasant.

Delicious wings! Priced accordingly as it is inside of a casino. We ordered the: -6 piece Korean fried wings soy garlic flavor: these were sooo good! Very crispy and flavorful. I would definitely come back for these!! -Prime Beef Bibimbap: I wish the meat was not ground and whole instead. The ground meat was not that appetizing. It was a bit bland which I think we were missing the sauce once we looked around at other tables. -Spicy Chicken Bibimbap: I preferred this one over the prime beef. Crispy fried chicken with all the toppings. Can't go wrong with this one. -Spicy Seafood Stew: the seafood had a very strong smell. I know seafood has a scent but this one is from not being super fresh. I expected different assortment of seafood, we got a few clams. Menu says there is clams, mussels, shrimp and squid. Service was really good. The girl was new but she tried her very best as it was so so packed.

Seoul Alley just opened up recently and we were in the area so we were eager to try. They're located in Foxwoods right by the Tanger Outlet across from Brooks Brothers. Pretty nice vibe in the restaurant--had that urban Asian feel to it with a nice bar. Our server was friendly and accommodating. We had a few dishes from seafood kimchi pancakes, bugolgi, double fried chicken wings, japchae, and mochi Mac and cheese. I thought the food was fairly mid. The fried chicken was a bit too deep fried where the skin was a bit overcooked. Bugolgi had too much veggies and little meat. Mochi Mac and cheese was fairly interesting. The cheese sauce and bits of bacon added some flavor but I thought the mochi was a bit too chewy. Seafood kimchi pancakes wasn't bad--vinegar like sauce went well with it. Overall I think the food could improve. But overall a pleasant night out. Cheers

The food here was amazing. We came here by accident upon checking into our hotels this past Thursday for our mini last minute getaway. I was intentional looking for a burger but we stumbled upon this restaurant and we didn't regret it. My girlfriend loves ramen so she immediately knew her order once we were seated and handed our menus. I had issues making a decision because everything looked so good. I wanted to order everything but ultimately settled for the bulgogi beef (Korean bbq) with a side of rice. My girlfriend ordered the beef ramen. Both were great as we both tried each other's meals. Also the appetizers?! Very good too. We got the shrimp tempura and the fried calamari. Now the calamari look like mozzarella sticks. They aren't your typical calimari which threw me by surprise at first but they are good but the shrimp tempura was even better. What made it better for me though was the soy sauce they serve with the shrimp. I actually had them bring me more of that sauce to put in my bulgogi beef and white rice. If you love Korean food, please give this place a shot. I regret not ordering the wings because the person next to me ordered wings and they looked amazing. Judging by how clean his plate was after he was done, I'd say it tasted good too. Definitely check this place out if you're ever at the casino!

I was dying for them to open because there's no Korean restaurant in the area. I go over an hour when I want some. We came by late Saturday evening and it was not busy. The staff was pleasant and diverse. We decided to sit at the bar since it was just two of us. They didn't have alcohol yet because they just got their liquor license. They only had IPA Can beer as an option so we declined. For food we ordered Bulgogi because it is my favorite. It was not bad but not my favorite. I also ordered the pork dumplings which were perfect. What impressed me the most was their Kimchi fried rice. The aroma of the wok, the bacon and perfect balanced flavors made me so happy. I can see myself coming back for this and to try other things. I was surprised not to find Tteokbokki on the menu since this is very popular Korean food. I will definitely be back with a group of friends

Seoul Alley recently opened 2 nights ago, Thursday after Christmas actually. They've taken over the old Armani store. I parked at the Fox Tower Garage and it's immediately right there as soon as I entered the casino. We sat the bar and I wouldn't have wanted to change anything. The kitchen is right in front and it's super easy to get a server's attention if we needed anything else. They are currently in their soft opening phase and waiting on their liquor license. For now, they are offering virgin piña coladas, virgin mojito, ginger beer, blueberry lemonade, sodas and other juices. I had the blueberry lemonade and I absolutely recommend it! It would be lovely as a cocktail!! There were blueberry pieces at the bottom that added a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised it went through the straw as thin as it was! We ordered kimchi and pork dumplings, spicy rose rice cakes and japchae. The rice cakes were served first. It' was none other than dukbokki. I didn't put two and two together until it was served. The jalapeño slices were a great touch. The japchae came next with a beautiful presentation. I loved the cilantro garnished on the top. I would have loved more mushroom though. I'm 50/50 on the dumpling. The kimchi didn't have the crunch I was looking for. Probably because it was steamed. I'm not sure if the pork was raw prior to the steaming causing the cooking to take longer, maybe that can be improved? Our server Marcus was magnificent. He was conversive and friendly and complimented their host Rose a lot. I also appreciated the personal touch of assisting me with my coat. What a true service! Thank you!

I am happy that Seoul Alley is here. None of the other casual dining options at foxwoods ever appealed to me. My favorite was Noodles back in the day in the Rainmaker area. But I digress... First off, youre paying casino prices. But you already knew that just by coming to foxwoods. Im focusing on the food and service. The bulgogi beef entree was as expected. White rice was served on the side. The pork mandus are good - i asked if I could get those steamed but they said the pork ones are only served fried. I did regret not also getting the steamed kimchi mandus...but there is always next time. The korean fried chicken, soy garlic flavor, is alright. It was saltier than Bon Chon and other places but it came out hot, crispy and fresh. That also was served with pickled daikon which was perfect. Washed it down with a pepsi zero. Service at the bar was great. The vibe is great with two semi separated areas - one bar area up front and sit-down vibe toward the back. The location is right at the entrance to the Tanger Outlet mall in the Fox Tower. The food was not earth shattering however I'm glad Foxwoods now has a solid casual eatery that I like. This will be my go-to spot going forward.

3.5 Stars We went in for lunch which might be a bad time to go since there weren't a lot of workers around. The workers that were there - 2 women, were very sweet even if a bit too busy. Lemme get it out of the way - on the website they have two menus. One has tteokbokki, gimbap and some other fun options. The other doesn't. We got the other menu. Not sure where the other menu might be... but I was really hoping for some tteokbokki! Anyways on to what we did order: My bf and I ordered the Korean fried chicken (6 piece) japchae, corn cheese pancakes, la galbi, pork Mandu and kimchi. Altogether we spent a whopping $135. By far this was the most expensive Korean food I've ever had. And I've had a lot. But maybe cause it's in a casino? I'm a local so it hurts a bit more. I don't think we'll be coming back until summer when they drop the shaved ice which I'm very excited for. So that's why I knocked it down from 4 stars. The chicken was perfectly cooked. I got it with the sweet and spice sauce which was really yummy and enjoyed the crispy sweet pickled radish on the side. My bf got the la galbi which came with the rice. I had a piece and it was really good. A savory grilled flavor with a bit of sweetness that rounds it out. A pretty normal Korean barbecue flavor so not super special but pretty good. $32 feels a bit steep without any real sides other than the rice though. The japchae was enjoyable but a bit sweet for my tastes. Sweeter than the japchae I'm used to I think. But it had woodear mushrooms which I thought was fun and added interesting texture. I don't eat pork so I didn't try the mandu but my partner said it was just alright. The kimchi was honestly some of the best restaurant kimchi I've ever had. I would recommend the side though it is quite pricey when you take into account many Korean restaurants offer the sides for free as "banchan" (just the name for sides). I believe this was ~$8 and a small bowl but it was really good. A good bit of fish sauce I believe in it which gives that nice salty savory flavor. But not so much that someone who doesn't love fish sauce couldn't enjoy. We didn't really like the corn pancakes. The corn wasn't sweet. It was really creamy and cheesy so a decadent savory pancake. I believe that it just isn't our taste but definitely was well made. It was nice and crispy. But again quite expensive when I compare to other k-restaurants I've been to. You may also want to try one of the stews since I saw a few of the stone pots around and they looked pretty good to me. It was nice in there. The space looks a bit fancy but not sure if the food gives off the energy of the place. It was pretty sleek for somewhere with mostly fried and grilled food. Altogether the restaurant definitely hurt our pockets but pretty good if you're not worried about money, live nearby and are REALLY craving Korean fried chicken lol!

    Pork dumplings

Friendly and attentive staff. Unsure of what to order so kept it simple with some fried pork dumplings. They did not disappoint! I like that you can see right into the kitchen/service area all freshly made dishes.

I got a bulgogi bibimbap, my partner got a chicken sandwich and we split some spicy rice cakes. I enjoyed my food, my partner loved his sandwich, and we both agreed though tasty the rice cakes weren't worth the price. For how empty the place was on a Thursday evening the service wasn't the most attentive but not to the point of complaining. We stopped in for dinner but over all it felt more like a great space to grab drinks and bite with friends. It definitely has friend group vibes not grabbing dinner with your partner.

    App sampler- shrimp, dumplings, noods.

Hate to say it but the spa, this restaurant, and our room were all just ok. $700 for a room. The casino is wildly expensive. Ambiance - extremely dark in here. Got sat next to a bunch of moms with their cheer kids who looked miserable after their cheer competition. That or they were tired. Looked like a bunch of brats to me. The food - just ok. Didn't wow us. Started with the pork dumplings. Big appetizer! Came with 6 pieces. I asked for the crispy onions on the side. They were tasty. I then got a sushi roll. I believe I got the crunchy roll without the tempura flakes. Boyfriend got the salmon. He said it wasn't bad. What was really awful was the mochi they served when they came out to sing happy birthday. It was disgusting. My boyfriend paid extra for the singing act and dessert and I felt bad that he paid extra for this since the dessert was terrible. It was pretty funny how the staff come out with masks and a fake cake and sign. After mine they sang with their ensemble to like 4 other tables. Seems popular. Overall ok restaurant.

I love the open kitchen design because you can see and smell what is going on in the kitchen. The food unfortunately didn't impress me at all. I had the steak noodles that seemed to be tossed with pre-made salad mix that you'd find at your local supermarket. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium-rare and tender) and had sweet, tangy flavor. All in all, not a terrible meal, but the salad mix on a sautéed noodle dish wasn't that enjoyable. We also ordered an assortment of sushi. The sushi was edible, but the rice was too dense and mushy. We ordered the salmon, unagi along with other seafood and it was just OK. The service was good. I thought that our waitress was attentive, polite and brought us our meal as soon as it was available. I'm not sure I'd come here again other than maybe getting a drink in a restaurant that is beautifully decorated. -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT
