smashed "our burger" with EXTRA government cheese
    Chance And Becky L.

Best burger in Foxwoods? Yes. Best burger in the Stonington area? Also yes. Best burger we've found in Connecticut? Without hesitation. And if you can look past the glossy veneer of celebrity--yes, those Wahlberg brothers--what you'll find underneath is something much better: a genuinely great story about family, food, and getting the basics exactly right. We'd walked past this spot more times than we can count on previous casino visits. Then we finally stopped in, and promptly went back again later that same day. That's the kind of place this is. We ordered the smashed "Our Burger," and it delivered everything you want from a proper burger: perfectly cooked, beautifully smashed, with just the right balance of bun, sauce, and toppings. Nothing fussy. Nothing trying too hard. Just right. If you are a fan of extra cheesiness, order it with EXTRA government cheese, you won't be sorry. The fries are crisp and salty (the way fries should be) and the onion rings are thin, light, and dangerously easy to keep eating long past reason. Our daughter ordered a chocolate shake, which vanished at record speed. Her official review: "perfect." (She does not hand that out lightly.) Service sealed the deal. The bar staff were warm, quick, and full of stories, exactly the kind of place where you end up chatting with strangers and leaving as acquaintances with shared casino tales. We came out of curiosity. We stayed for the burger. We'll be back because it's so damn good. --Chance & Becky *All Ahead Slow*

Was visiting the resort and decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately it was the stereotypical fast food burger joint. Kind of grimy, staff just so so, the food was middle of the road. Better than a McDonald's experience but not to the leveling Five Guys, for reference. I'd eat here again but not some place I'd go out of my way for.

Grabbed a to go order from Walhburgers late one night and take back to our hotel room after a night of gambling and drinking. We've done this twice now. (Well originally we wanted some sushi from Red Lantern..we showed up at 9:50om and the website said they closed at 10:30pm, but they were definately closed sooo....) Can't say we have any experience though with how it is dine in getting burgers. The first time, my husband's burger didn't seem cooked thoroughly. Our 2nd time was a bit better. This food is best for the purpose that we used it for...a greasy, bready meal to absorb the alcohol to not have hangovers the next day. This isn't feel good food, you feel quite lethargic and gluttonous after eating it. Would we get it again for a third time? Yeah, if we drank enough :)

Wanted a quick bite and none of us had tried Walhburgers before and were interested. We had to leave our drinks (Starbucks) up front, and we were promptly seated. Service was very friendly. The rest of my table opted for the classic burger, but I opted for the BBQ Bacon Burger (BBQ is my go to condiment on a burger!). It came with fresh spicy jalapeno, a good amount of bbq, melted pepper jack cheese, not crisp bacon (not a bad thing) on top of a well cooked beef patty, all held together by a soft bun. The jalapeno is strong so be sure you want that heat! We shared a side of Tater Tots, which were nice and crisp! The Lemonade Iced Tea was a great balance, as there was more iced tea than lemonade. A lot of places do exactly 50/50 and the lemonade usually overpowers the iced tea. Overall a spot to hit for a quick bite!

My hubby ordered the fish which was the smartest thing I've ever seen. I ordered a Barcardi and coke and it was watery, I didn't even finish it. Will definitely not return. Hostess were nice and friendly. Ambiance was okay.

Burgers were good, we added bacon! Fries were ok. I had the adult mud pie milkshake which was amazing! If you're looking for a reasonably priced quick meal at the casino, Wahlburgers is perfect. Location is convenient and centrally located. Staff were attentive.

The food was exceptional as you would expect from GR. My husband and I flew out to HK in Las Vegas in 2018 and the ambiance was the same. But what made this trip different was the fact that Chef Ellie and Chef Kyle were on duty this Sat. nite July 25th. They were impressive!!!!! I never got to see their faces because they were so focused on their jobs at the pass, Ellie at red and Kyle at Blue. It was a thrill to see those young adults. We have watched almost every season of HK and can't wait to see the next. Thank you all for a wonderful meal and a memorable experience.!!! Maria R.

Our executive here was great, our waitress was very friendly and informative regarding the customers favorites of the dishes. We ended up getting the Roasted Chicken dish, Crispy Salmon dish, 8 ounce Filet dish, Brussel sprouts and gilled asparagus.... Everything was delicious. If we lived in this area we'd make it a habit to dine at Hell's Kitchen regularly. Also the ambiance was great! Will definitely plan to come again the next time we're in CT

Someone who I presume was the manager enthusiastically greeted us and sat us down. We were quickly greeted by our server who was very friendly and polite. We ordered tteokbokki, veggie spring rolls, Korean fried tenders and BBQ bulgogi. The food came out pretty quickly and almost all at once, though there was a mixup and we ended up with fried shrimp instead of tteokbokki. I think the server misheard us when we put in the order, so an honest mistake. With that he quickly apologized, took it off the bill and got our tteokbokki order. The spring rolls were very tasty, boyfriend especially loved those. The chicken tenders were massive, and boyfriend really liked the spicy sauce on those as well. Tteokbokki was pretty good as well. The server left the fried shrimp at the table, and while I normally don't like shrimp (it's a texture thing for me) I didn't want it to go to waste so I decided to give it a try and it was actually quite good! The fry on it was great and the texture of the meat was soft. However I think my favorite thing that I had was the bulgogi, as the beef was very tender, well marinated and quite flavorful. Despite the one hiccup with our food order (albeit one that might've actually made me more willing to try more shrimp dishes), we had a good time at Seoul Alley. The food hit the spot for us and we would return whenever we're at Foxwoods again.

Actually, the dress code seems more lax than even their site description suggests. It was shockingly vacant this Fourth of July evening. Let that not be a testament to their apparent popularity level; but rather, the typical American's propensity to get plastered via pre-gaming as their search for a solid fireworks show compels them to parts unknown. It's this lack of attendance, however, that gives me the vibe we literally could have waltzed in here wearing anything shy of a scantily clad bathing suit or something. See, usually...it's other guests that complain about folks' attire more so than the business itself. At least, in my experience. Nevertheless, I avoided their 3 big no-nos: no baseball caps, tank tops, or basically any attire that makes one otherwise appear to be an "undesirable" after 7PM. Translation: if you wear some kind of fancy hat with non-ripped jeans and a clean shirt, you'll fit in just fine. Naturally, we came in with the intent to shoot some pool. There are 3 tables, each prorated at $10 per half hour (even though the site just says $20 an hour). I guess they train the bartenders to say the first thing so that it sounds cheaper when said aloud. Small caveat at the time of writing this review: one of their pool tables is faulty due to a rather noticeable tear on the fabric. Luckily for us, we were forewarned by the greeting staff at what I'll assume to be the bowling check-in desk. Although we didn't try any food seeing as how we came in right after having dinner at Cedars Steakhouse, the drinks were on point. Plus, the table we used was perfectly level. We didn't like the fact there was no cue assist aiming stick for those hard-to-reach-shots (IYKYK). Outside of that, there's really nothing bad to say about this lounge. Perhaps when we visit Foxwoods again, we'll actually try the food next time around. Keeping this one in my back pocket, I'm giving High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Sports Lounge 5 eight balls in the corner pocket out of 5.

This is a sports bar, with some very large screens, they also offer bowling, it's very fancy. The hallway looks like a hallway of a very upscale hotel. I suppose if you've perfected your bowling skills, you could come here and hang out with the High Rollers. They have some very comfy seats here. To start off we got the Yukon Gold Chips, and the Truffle Fries. The Yukon Chips were just ordinary thin potato chips, they also came with onion rings. The truffle fries were very nicely seasoned, and they were pretty tasty. We also got their Un-Wedged Salad. This was very fresh with lettuce, blue cheese, tomatoes, bacon and pecans. Additionally we got the pepperoni pizza and the roasted vegetable pizza. These pizzas are very thin, but something was a bit off. Particularly, the pepperoni gave box pizza vibes. Something about the crust was very "cardboardy". The veggie was better. Maybe the vegetables helped disguise the very poor crust. They offer free refills on Coke. The pizzas were a very generous size. Despite this place being called High Rollers, the menu and the food were average at best.

We happened to visit on Tuesday, which meant it was Taco Tuesday - and if they're still running this special, definitely take advantage of it! For $25 per person, you get unlimited tacos. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try, and we definitely didn't regret it. There were eight different taco options to choose from: scorpion classic, classic chicken, carne asada, al pastor, crispy Baja, adobo shrimp, scorpion chicken, and pork belly. My favorites were easily the crispy Baja and the adobo shrimp. Honestly, for me to pick a fish taco over a steak taco says a lot! The crispy Baja was perfectly crispy and topped with guacamole and cholula cream, which made every bite flavorful, light, and well balanced. If you're someone who enjoys spicy food, the adobo shrimp is a must. It packed more heat than I expected, and I loved every bite. We also shared an order of fries, which came seasoned with taco seasoning and cotija cheese. The fries themselves were hot and crispy, but a little underwhelming with only a sprinkle of cotija cheese. We were not too much of a fan over the taco seasoning on the fries. The drinks were pretty strong, so this is a good spot if you're looking for late-night food and cocktails. On top of that, even though it took a while for the tacos to come out, the service was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, the Scorpion Bar's tacos exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend visiting for the tacos, especially if the Taco Tuesday event is still available. You'll definitely get your money's worth! -Cris
