I've always walked by this place when I am at the Lanai food court at Ala Moana. Today, I came here for a snack with my Mother and Grandma. From the looks of it, everything is premade and it's a "grab and go" place. They have a large variety of kimbap... basically Korean sushi. Grandma wanted Kimbap, so we shared the fish cake kimbap and a bulgogi bento. I also had some jap chae. Everything was good. The bento included rice, kim chee, mac salad and jap chae. Solid place in the food court to pick up a quick bite to eat! The stall itself is next to/near the Musubi Cafe Iyasume. Very reasonable yet generous portions and tasty! I've come here 2 separate times (once in March 2026 and then another time in 1-2 years ago) and had a positive experience both times. Note that most of the food is NOT made to order, however, it seems like there is a lot of traffic so things are not sitting for long. In fact, they have a sticker showing what time something was made that day. I think the only thing that is made to order is the bibimbap. For a quick bite to eat in the food court, this place is a great stop. I got the vegetable hand rolls and it was delicious. I liked that it was crunchy and had good sesame oil flavor. Gosh... the bentos and musubi looked really good... and everything was packaged... ready-to-go... convenient! I thought, "Since I'm here and there's no line, I should get something for lunch later on..." Good move because after driving mom around to her appointments, I was hungry when I got home! I came here around 11:30am and wanted to get the sweet & garlic shrimp bento box. They told me that there would be a wait, about two hours for the shrimp to defrost. Are you kidding me? I wasn't about to hang out for two hours to wait for the shrimp. Instead I picked up the prepackaged seafood pancake and shrimp tempura kimbap. The food was already room temperature as it was sitting out. I like how they have a time stamp on it. The food wasn't bad. I liked the seafood pancake. It had bits of calamari and shrimp in it. That vinegar soy dipping sauce that came with it was a winner. It gave that pancake life. The kimbap was ok. Obviously, the tempura was soggy and they didn't use a whole shrimp. It was minced shrimp in some kind of paste. I don't think that I would get it again. I appreciate that it wasn't greasy like some of the other kimbaps that I've had at other places. read more

It does take a while if you ordered something that's not on the grab and go counter, but to me that's okay cause you know it's made to order. Their wagyu is SOO flavorful with a sweet flavor that reminds me of bbq! The kimchi has a nice spice to it, I LOVE mac salad, the white fluffy rice is seasoned well and the crunchy pickled daikon and japchae was a winner! Order this and thank me later! The food I ordered was really tasty. The chapjae side was good but it was watery. I didn't eat the mac salad because I'm not fond of mayo. In the future I will ask them to drain the noodles and swap out the mac salad for something else. **the watery chapjae leaked out of the container and was all over the bag. Hopefully they provide options. They had chicken bento, and shrimp bento all ready to go. I saw the guy in front of me had bulgogi. I asked the cashier if they were going to bring out more bulgogi and her reply was "what?" .... i then said "beef" and she quickly knew what I was referring to (kinda strange but maybe they should know the names of their dishes). She said if I could wait 5 or 10 minutes they could have it ready for me. Glad I waited! I'm not fond of chicken thighs or shrimp with shells still on it. Ample seating in the food court area. We didn't want to cook our last night in Waikiki so I suggested we go to the Lanai since there are several options of food in one place. After looking at the restaurants that were still open, I chose Korean. After an extensive look at the choices on the line and the menu, I ended up deciding to get fries and bibimbap. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. The bulgogi bibimbap was a fairly good size for me but it was very satisfying! I was so hungry I thought for sure I would eat the whole thing. It was nicely layered: rice on the bottom, veggies and meat with a kimchee fried egg on the top. The flavors melted nicely in my mouth and I was happy for so many veggies. But... the fries! The fries kept me from devouring the bowl! So let me tell you about these fries. I'm a little slow and I didn't realize the fries came with all that stuff on it; I thought you had a choice of the toppings but I'm happy it came with bulgogi and kimchee and a spicy sauce drizzled on it. Whatever spicy sauce was on this, it was just delicious and added such a nice kick to the fries. My Aunty and I ate almost all the fries which explains why I I didn't finish my bibimbap bowl. But it did make a yummy lunch the next day! Can't wait to come back for these fries and next time it will be earlier in the day so there will be more choices on the prepared food line! Took my kids to this place randomly and it was awesome. The plates were good, the meat was extraordinary, but the vegetables were so good ohmygoodness. I'm a man with lots of testosterone, and I thought the vegetables were fire, like I hate bean sprouts but I was munching on them at this place. Nice Korean place, lots of choices but their best are the bibimbap and other standards. Vegetable choices are better than the meat options. It's Korean to go food that also is fun to eat here in the Lanai food court. I'm not sure what to think about bulgogi on top of French fries but I guess this is popular among young people in Seoul and locals in Honolulu. Like the other old man in line, I got my food on rice. I've been a loyal customer from the start but Seoul Mix2's food quality and service has gone downhill since then. This year alone I have seen staff turnover increase, especially with the cooks. As a result the food quality and consistency has gone downhill. The two older employee who work the register and take food orders during the day try their best but always seem confused and make mistakes with the order. The amount of food they give is not consistent as well. One day the Bi Bim Bop bowl is filled to the brim and other days the bowl is half full. I think the owner needs to get directly involved with the concession counter before they start losing customers. read more

I remember a worker telling me they don't put a lot of rice into their kimbap because they want to be a little healthier but not adding so much carbs. Yay! And also because something I feel like I get more rice than the actual inside. You'll love the selection of foods that are pack and ready to take out so you can easily enjoy it at home after a long work or shopping day.
