My aesthetician was wearing a sweatshirt of one of the skin care brands, and with it being a facial, I thought that was just OK, but I think if I was getting a more involved or advanced procedure done, I would find it offputting. When I arrived, they had a bunch of online "paperwork" that they wanted me to fill out, but said I did not have to fill out all of it. I honestly found it a little bit stressful that it wasn't sent in advance, and I worried that my service was cut short by the time I spent filling out the online form. It would have been very lovely to have been offered something to drink during this process. I also felt like my facial/peel was very short, and I did not notice much of a difference. Because it was a cold and snowy day, I would have loved if they would have been offered me a blanket right away when I laid down on the table for my service. She did give me one later in the service, when the moisturizing mask was doing its job. Overall, my complaints are pretty minimal - really more details that would have taken the experience to a higher level. If you'd like an unpretentious medi spa experience, this could be a great place for you! Everyone was very friendly and casual, as well as helpful. The young man who was working the register, for lack of a better word, is trying to scam people. I've been having this card for about 5-6 years. I've even put money on the card at this location before and I have NEVER been told he has to scan my identification card for me to add money on my card. I asked him for what and he started to whisper and looked uncomfortable as he told me "in case of some kind of fraud with my card." If fraud was to occur, which it can't because I only put enough on the card when I use it to pay for what I order and it's immediately after putting the money on the card, it's between me and American Express, NOT Walgreens. I should have spoke to the manager, but I was so offended by him thinking I don't know any better, I just said nevermind and left. I went somewhere else and added the money and when I got home I was thinking that because I didn't speak to the manager, he could get away with doing this to someone else, so I'm sending this message.
