I've had good experiences in this store but not this time. Didn't get any acknowledgment when I walked in. I was looking for a hair product and no one came over nor was there any staff I could see to ask. I finally just left, didn't even bother getting my birthday gift. The staff is pleasant but the store is messy, dirty and unorganized. The perfume section had empty bottles, missing spray nozzles and mislabeled. I'm surprised by the uncleanliness since it's in the mall. read more

Walked into Sephora and of course spent more money than I should have but it's always a pleasant experience. The advisors are very friendly, knowledgeable, beautiful makeup, and helpful. On this day, I am so glad I went into the store because if you spent up to $75 -- you can receive a free skincare consultation and facial! The type of day I had... I eagerly hopped on the opportunity! Ladies, we love our makeup but we have to keep our skin nurtured! I sound like an ad but it's true lol. Shoutout to Ashley from skincare (all the way in the back of the store)! She was so amazing, knowledgeable about skincare, and absolutely hilarious! I enjoyed my mini facial and she made sure to label the samples with instructions to use at home! LOVED IT!!! read more

Whenever I go into Sephora, I usually expect to not receive help because the associates are running around the store but one of the associates noticed me within 5 minutes of coming into the store and asked if I needed help - I didn't even see her! She set me up with one of the nicest people I met unfortunately I forgot her name. This woman was with me for at least 30 minutes matching different foundations and giving me blush suggestions. She never once made me feel bad about my skin and wrote everything I tried, on my sample bag. She gave me blush recommendations from the Sephora brand that she tried and loved because I never tried a peachy blush so I didn't want to splurge too much money. I really liked my experience with her and will probably come to this location more often than my local mall. The one thing I didn't like is the store is a bit smaller than the other Sephora's I've been to and some items are directly facing outward towards the aisle so it can be hard moving around people. read more

I can only imagine that this is heaven for make-up wearers. I recently visited Sephora because I was in need of make up for an upcoming event, as well as some lessons on how to apply it. I know I looked like a fish out of water when I first entered the store, and luckily one of the sales girls, Anna, came right up to me. I think she could tell how clueless I was. She started off by getting my skin color IQ, and grabbing a bunch of products based off of that. As she applied the products she gave me step by step instructions, so I could attempt to recreate it at home. I was pretty picky on what I wanted to use on my face, and Anna was very accommodating and patient with me. She was very helpful, and got me exactly what I needed. The products here are pricey- more than what you would pay at Utla or the drug store- but the service was well worth the markup. read more

The sole reason for my visit to sephora is for my favorite lip glass which I have to replace every few months. Each time I visit the store is well organized and stocked. My favorite part about sephora is the associates greet you and ask if they can assist you but are never overbearing. That is more than I can say about every other make up store where the associates hawk you until you buy or run out. Sephora keep stocking my favorite lip gloss and keep your helpful and not overbearing employees and I will continue to give you my business. read more

When the employee came to the door after acknowledging my knock, she replied in a sarcastic tone that they would be open in a few minutes. The staff continued on with their team meeting. This is the most convenient Sephora location for me so I had planned to purchase some items here but the salespeople were rude and arrogant; therefore, I won't be shopping at this location anymore. I love Sephora but corporate needs to re-train their people and learn how to properly execute 'customer service.' I was trying on samples of lip sticks and lip glosses, to figure out which colors looked best and the salespeople, who were assisting their 'select' clientele, would not even say 'excuse me' as they reached for makeup samples in front of me; just basically push others out of their way and act like you didn't exist. These so-called salespeople don't even acknowledge other customers while they walk the floor or help their 'select' clientele. I've shopped here numerous times in the past but I guess I'm not worthy of the salespeople's attention. read more

I used to think all Sephoras were the same. Oh how foolish I was! Cherry Hill Sephora was like an alternate universe where EVERY person was uber-helpful, knowledgeable of their product line, and approachable. They fielded all of my vague questions like "I read in Lucky magazine about this thing..." with genuine interest, gave an excellent makeup tutorial, and weren't stingy with samples of things I might also like. Seriously, way to go ladies (and I think I spotted a gent). This location also carries the Nude Skincare line which is beyond amazing. read more

I usually shop online but have gone into the store twice in the last couple of weeks. First time- was told they didn't carry what I was looking for (CT eyeshadow). So I went to Nordstrom and bought it. They were also out of the BB foundation I wanted. They didn't have a perfume I was looking for that is sold online. This week I went back. The indeed did have the CT eyeshadow I was looking for, on an end with other random cult items. The didn't have yet another perfume I was looking for (Moschino) or a Dior foundation they sell online. Most times I've been to Sephora I always feel a little uncomfortable and intimidated by employees. but today I stopped in to look for sunscreen for my face & a women named Carly helped me. For a good almost half hour she walked me back and forth from products she recommended for my skin type and from experience. She was so helpful. I wish I could put into words how much she helped me today. I've been soo stressed about my skin and she made me feel so comfortable about my skin issues and tried to find the best solution that would work for me, I am so excited to try the products she recommended. I typically don't bother reviewing chain type establishments, since you pretty much know right off the bat what you are in for. But I feel this Sephora is really exceptional. I don't know how they do it, but everything you could possibly need (and tons of stuff you didn't know you needed!) can be found at this one location. Sephora has all the tops brands, Urban Decay being my personal favorite, as well as their own more affordable brand which is every bit as good as the more expensive ones. Sephora is one of those stores that thoughtfully hires their staff, and for that reason the customer service is awesome. The girls that work here can always offer me their expert opinion and always find time for a quick demo on how to use the products. Also, as a side note it definitely pays to join their rewards club! Do I like to smell good? Do you like the smell of a good cologne? Stepped into Sephora with my daughter today. I used to enjoy coming in here a long time ago but cant seem to make it to the mall as much (that might change soon). Sephora sakes and main customers are of tge female persuasion. Make up, eye liner, eye shadow, perfumes, it is strictly a beauty oasis for women. Cant be mad at that at all. But as my daughter pressed on witb picking up a few items for her outing, I went and checked out mens fragrances. OMG...Michael Kors...im getting that...CK...im getting that. This is one of the most clean, most helpful and overall best Sephora locations I've been to and, trust me, I've been to a lot. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and always have great products to show. I usually find salespeople a little bit annoying, but I always talk to people at Sephora - they are very nice and personable. If one of them comes up to you, ask them about what they recommend that day because there are always great new products or sales that they can show you. A lot of my concerns have been about the correct creams and moisturizers for my face (problem skin!), and the salespeople there are always very helpful and give great recommendations depending on what my face's problem-of-the-week is. The best part is, I feel that they really do recommend what they believe is best, and not just what they are told to push that week. I've also had a lot of questions about other makeup products and I've always been shown a few different options that I can choose from. My only quibble is that they always seem to be out of the point products at the register, but that isn't the store's problem. read more

Honestly, one of best experiences I have had at a Sephora. All thanks to Tori! Honestly, the mall was busy and packed and I forgot all of my makeup in North Jersey. I dragged my boyfriend to the mall to see if i could something anything done on my face. I ran in to get lashes and asked if I could get them applied. Tori was extremely friendly and kind. She was so helpful, I think she could see the desperate on my face. She even did my eyebrows!!! I loved my face for the wedding! It was so beautiful. Tori was a life-saver. I thought that one of the make up artists who attempted to match my skin tone for a foundation was very arrogant. She was very immature. She was listening to my conversation and corrected how I pronounced "Stilla" and pointed out where to find Still eyeliner when I did not ask for her help. My friend and I was just conversing about why we didn't like Stilla Smudge Proof stick. If she listened correctly, she would have known that we do not like the product. And don't jump into our conversation, if you weren't asked for help.... that it's non of your business, and help was not requested. And when she was trying on my foundation, she kept PUTTING FOUNDATION on my hair to my face. She did it twice to both side of my face. Her remarks was--- your hair wouldn't get off your face. Excuse me.... if you knew how to use a brush, you would see why it's getting on my face. If you didn't scream and say hiii to an employee across the store, you would have paid attention to my face. What a make up artist would have done was removing pieces of hair off my face, rather than testing foundation on top of my hair. That was VERY RUDE. Pieces of hair that she put foundation on was literally 4-5 inches long on the side of my ears. And my forehead is clearly 2-3 shades darker than my face. She said it's normal- I get it---- "SUN HITS THE FOREHEAD FIRST" But if you choose a color that makes me look like a ghost compared to my forehead, I have the right to say I don't like it. But her advice was to contour my forehead more... Let's talk about common sense... if my forehead is darker than my face--- would it make sense to contour my forehead darker? Wouldn't that just make my face lighter than my forehead? What would make sense is to find a median color to my forehead and cheeks & neck. Sephora--- please hire employees who are a bit more mature. And when interview--- you should really see how they talk before hire. And if you are brushing foundation on someone's hair--- regardless if you have the perfect product or not- the guest will not want to by that particular product with bad service. Fyi- I ended up going for a different shade----- because her PERSONALITY was arrogant and immature. Why didn't she use her hand to remove the pieces of hair off my face? SHE LITERALLY BRUSHED MY HAIR ACROSS MY FACE. If my hair was long enough the pieces of hair would have hit my NOSE. Why did she continue to put foundation on my hair? She must have been a bully in school, to treat customers like that. And if you come off arrogant like a know it all--- you will get a review like this. SEPHORA- PLEASE DO BETTER. This is my Sephora of choice. The staff here is very knowledgable and friendly, and always willing to help. I come here a lot so it seems they know me now, so they say hello and just let me browse until I need them. They are great with giving out samples of things you want to try or might like, and aren't pushy with trying to make you purchase. I brought a TEMPTU kit for $300 including the airpods, but I went back and forth for quite a while. JoJo kept letting me test it and play around with it, never minding one bit. The selection here is pretty great, and the return policy is, as always, fabulous. You won't regret this trip! read more

Sephora is a fun colorful store. It is big and they have so many things to just check out. Not a big makeup person, but I tried mineral makeup before and got it here back in the day. I got a pearl blue green nail polish which was very pricey but it really lasts on your nails very long and didn't chip off easily. I even found a urban decay pearlish eyeshadow palette here and it was really nice. read more

I think I am in this store at least once every week and I live about 25 minutes away from here (and also have a closer Sephora in the Deptford mall). Every person here is knowledgeable and very helpful. They openly give out samples and know who to turn to if they can't readily help you. They don't give you a problem with returns or exchanges either. There's always something new here and this store actually has a little of everything you may have seen on the website and want to try. I'm in love with this place!!!!! (The main store not the one inside the JCP)I am new to make up at the age of 29. I have become obsessed!!! I do tons of research and reading but I can alway count on the ladies at this location to give me good advice, they are very helpful. This store is always busy but they always manage to to find time. This place is make up heaven!! There's just one thing that I do not like and that's the temperature in the store. Holy cow it's freaking HOT in there. I always leave the store with sweat. I cannot spend much time in there because of the temperature. SEPHORA please turn down the heat a bit or get better bulbs for the lights!!!! Please!!! I had a "makeover" by Lorraine and she did a fantastic job. She asked me lots of questions to be sure she gave me what I wanted, though I'm not sure I was helpful by saying whatever so many times. I left with new techniques, new products, and lots of compliments. Scott helped me check out and even reminded me about the coupon in my email for $20 off my purchase. Ok a few weeks ago I go in there looking for brush cleaning pad product for a lady friend of mine. I'm a guy so I think some salesperson in the store will help me quickly. Nope, she just breezes past me so I wait in line at the register. I ask the person at the register and she says they don't carry that brand. So I am waiting for the well what can you sell me that's similar. Nothing. Finally I ask do you sell anything like what I am looking for? That's the problem right there. She had the opportunity to sell me something, anything and yet I had to initiate the conversation. I was a man with a credit card and she barely even tried to help. She finally mentioned a similar product but never shows me or gets me any help from the sales floor. I did not feel welcomed or valued. Since I honestly don't have any idea what this looks like etc., I leave. Teach your sales people to sell and be nice. Maybe I'm just expecting too much these days. My skin is very sensitive and I'm always very particular with what's going on my face. Sephora seems to have updated its staff with a more friendly & customer service oriented group of sales associates. The 3 past times that I have gone, I have actually been asked if I needed help looking for something, been offered samples of products I have been interested in (without asking), & have been given a smile & wonderful customer service. Before these visits, it would be a miracle if I even received a "Hello" or a "Do you need help looking for anything?". This review is about five months overdue! As we all know Sephora is great because of their return policy. You can damn near use a whole bottle of something and return it if you are not satisfied. The part that irks me about most Sephora's is that most people shamelessly know much of nothing about every single product in the store. The makeup portion of the store is like that here. This store shines in the back where the face car stuff is at. I needed a new facial care routine and found Luna. She was amazing because of her patience and knowledge of the many lines carried. Stopped by Sephora on my way to an event. Made the appt. on line for a makeup application. Met with JoJo and had a fantastic experience. We chatted - stuck to a level of make up I was personally was comfortable with. She never tried to sell me on being more made up then I wanted to be. Got me some freebies, gave advice and was extremely professional. Can't wait to head back to her and highly recommend. read more
