Love this Sephora location! I do most of my Sephora shopping online, but when I am in the mood I will make my way over to Town Square. I always appreciate their selection and the store is beautifully setup. That being said I left a 2 star review as the customer service experience I had was very unpleasant. It is hard being critical on a company when just one employee ruins my experience, but I feel it should be shared. I was in the skin care section when a representative came over and asked what skin care I use. I told her Paula's Choice, to which she replied "We don't carry that, I think you can find that in the cheap section of Ulta." All of the other representatives were pleasant and helpful, it's a shame this one employee ruined my experience and day! read more

i love this location .. the staff is friendly and knowledgable !!!! today i came here looking for the "laura mercier " tinted oil free moisturizer which i saw on sephora app was the best rated and most natural look which i wanted !! since ive never used a foundation or anything i needed help figuring out which color would match my skin the best it was my first time lol ... a girl names "sarah " helped me and she knew exactly which one is closest to the color of my skin and tried it on me and bam it was exactly my skin tone!!! she was quick and knew her stuff.. she made it so easy for me.... i then decided to walk around and see what else id find lol and of course i found a few more things. this location is always fully stocked and i always find what i need!! ps. (and this is for sephora not based on staff or store) the only thing that disappoints me is the free samples they have and insider points gifts :-( they are terrible!!! for example, its always a really sucky item in a small bag usually a cream of some sort with no directions and packaged by sephora staff and looks really cheap and not cute which is really not nice since a free sample should be something awesome to try for promo!!! like online!!!! and since i usually order online and get great samples (at least two of my choice to choose from like 8 different ones in a cute packaging such as perfume samples or small lipsticks ) and bonus small sized items for free to try .... in store it should be the same!!!! it shows customer appreciation much better than a small bag with cream in a plastic container. i hope sephora improves this im sure all customer would really appreciate it ,,, so most of the time i prefer to order online :-( and would love it to be the same in store since i enjoying going to the store walking around and trying stuff on !!! read more

This is my least favorite Sephora location. I am a VIB Rouge which means I spend $1000 or more per year at Sephora. I was followed around this store and watched like a hawk. The store associates didn't even ask me if I needed help. I wouldn't shop at this location again. The cashier Jessica was rude as well. She was condescending and didn't answer my questions about skincare products. I prefer Summerlin or Fashion show the employees there are so much more polite and helpful! Decided to come down to sephora for some goodies on a Friday afternoon before my hubby got home..brought the kids and found parking relatively quickly after a small loop around TS. Once parked we headed around the corner to sephora, and I notice an Arab(? )man standing outside near the kiosk and bench area before you get to the door. He seemed to notice us too and started walking briskly towards Sephora's double doors,face frowned up. He opened them and then let them shut just as my children and I hit the doors so I had to struggle to open them . I watch him go in and he appeared to approach an associate...I kept thinking ugh how rude and wondering why he had such a bad vibe and secondly why was he in there? ...Just as I get in the associate decides to help us open the other door a bit too late but I am still in a good mood...she asks me if I need help finding anything and due to the fact that I have two small children with me at all times and I have change in the parking meter and a full bladder, I tell her yes. The item is not carried there, so I say, is there anything comparable because we drove far and she kinda has us held up still at the front door...she calls another associate over to help me. She helps me and we check out and I keep thinking, am I not allowed to browse?? I am a big time makeup shopper online for the convenience aspect of it and I'm reminded why by this trip...I left, a bit disappointed at my shopping experience but glad to get out of there..of course I had to do a loop around to check if the weird Arab looking man was still standing outside looking as if he was looking for someone, and he was still there!! note to management, allow people to shop and browse-not everyone is a shoplifter and not everyone will be as kind as me after you ruin their shopping experience!!! I can appreciate a place that helps people feel better about themselves...This store is pretty big but at the same time full of stuff. Not very happy with their service. I was using a makeup remover tester to clean makeup off my hand, and was told to use the generic remover for that. What is the tester for? Everyone here was really nice and helpful. I went for a makeup class, and just kinda browsed around while I was waiting for the class to take place. Looked like everything in here was $20.00 and up. $20.00 lipstick, $20.00 plus eyeliner, $20.00 plus lipstick. So we did our foundation course, it was fun playing in makeup, moisturizers, and primers. I got my IQ color match. I really liked the foundation I got matched with it was $44.00 Makeup forever by Becca, so if I got the primer, moisturizer, and concealer, I'm going to have to go and get a payday loan! Really love this place! I used to go to the Sephora at Planet Hollywood during college. I'm so happy they have added another location. Parking is much easier at the Town Square location. They have everything! I think I could lose an entire afternoon walking around sampling everything! My husband and I were planning on going out on Friday night so I decided to get my make up done. I normally get my make up done at Fashion Show Mall at one of the department stores. I've been there upwards of an hour and a half getting my make up done. The woman that did my make up at Sephora...40 minutes tops! That included her writing everything down for me and getting the products I wanted to buy. And I loved how I looked! Her name was Maria....very sweet woman and very fun to talk to! I wanted fake eyelashes. I wish they could just put them on for you but there's a store policy that states they can just help you do it. Overall, it went well and now I know how to do the eyelashes myself. In the future, I'm definitely going back here and having Maria do my make up! Don't forget to ask for their "Beauty Insider Sephora" card...earn points for rewards when you buy makeup. read more

Excellent customer service here! Decided it was time to learn how to pencil in my eyebrows without looking like Tammy Faye Bakker. After 37 years you would think this wouldn't be hard but this required the assistance of the talented ladies at Sephora. It was a busy Saturday afternoon but I was promptly greeted and shown the various eyebrow pencils needed to make some sexy brows possible. After a brief demonstration I made my way up to the counter. That's when I realized I left my 20% off coupon at home and deleted the email off my phone. The lady behind the register went out of her way to find me another 20% off coupon. She went in the back and emerged victorious with a shiny new coupon. She didn't have to waste 5 minutes hunting for a coupon that I forgot. This is MY SEPHORA ! I live in Southern Las Vegas so has always been the most convenient location for me. I struggle with foundations and I often have to return things several times. Anytime I come into this store, everyone is always willing to help me. I've even had team members take me around the store to different brand displays and help me pick things that could work for me. I had the best experience possible here. I believe the one who helped me is Lala. She helped me and my friend navigate through different shades that would suit us while making great conversation with us at the same time. Usually my experience walking into a Sephora is dissatisfying when it comes to the guest service I am given, not with Lala. I love this place. Any time I need make-up, this is the first place I think of because of its selection as well as super-helpful staff and Sephora Beauty Insider gifts! The store has so much to offer and the associates have just as much information to help you out with! It can definitely be intimidating with the huge size of the store, but fret not - employees are great at what they do. Though I've been here several times, the last visit was in mid-December to pick up a Christmas gift. We got a Too Faced palette and some brushes as a first timer's make-up kit and everything was so easy to find and the lady who checked us out even said it was going to be a great gift for what we needed it for. Sephora is like a puppy store. I want to take everything home with me! This location at Town Square is particularly great because of its size and accessibility. It's got a parking garage and metered parking right next to it, so you can get in and out if need be. But for those of you who like to browse and sample, the employees here are helpful but not bothersome. Sephora is pretty pricey, so you have a few options to ease any buyers remorse. If you don't like your purchase, bring it back and return it. To prevent the extra trip, ask for a sample. You can ask a salesperson for a sample of (almost) anything in the store. My suggestion: join the Beauty Insiders. It's their free loyalty program that includes special discounts, offers, and free gifts BOTH online and in stores. You earn points for purchases that you can redeem for deluxe samples that are ever changing. And if you spend enough, you earn the status of VIB (very important beauty insider) that comes with enhanced perks. read more

I came in here to get some foundation since I was out. The Bare Escentuals loose mineral foundation is pretty awesome but I saw they had new pressed powder. I asked one of the makeup girls to help me with finding the right color and she used this IQ computer thing to determine the right color. When she put it on in the store, it looked great! I got home and within a couple of days of using it, it was obviously too light for my skin. I went back in and talked to them and they were so awesome. Another girl did the IQ thing again and we went outside in the sunlight so she could apply three different brands. We found the one that best matched my skin tone, and they traded the original one I had purchased, which I was grateful for. Yeah it was a hassle to have to go back and exchange it, but they could've been complete jerks and refused a refund on an open and used product, without a receipt! But they seemed more than happy to fix the mistake and never made me feel like they doubted my word on what happened. I was very pleased with the customer service and I love my new foundation. read more

This is my favorite Sephora location in Vegas thus far. Maybe a lot of the reason has to be how conveniently close you can actually park to just step foot into the store. I'm almost always lucky to find a sweet spot in the neighboring garage or a parallel spot just outside the doors. ANYWAY LOL. Everyone here loves their job (and at all the other locations to be honest) and that's something Sephora does different in the game. I've changed my makeup routine differently just by going up to an associate, telling them my skin conditions and basically saying "pick something that would work best for me". Almost all the time, they would always know automatically without any second of hesitation or doubt- and that's an opinion I would rather trust above anything else. To this day, I still thank this location for introducing me to the products I use today. Other than the amazing staff, the Beauty Insider card is hard to pass up as well- Especially when you're almost walking out a free sample that can last you awhile before you decide to purchase an actual size of the product. I'll almost always come back to this location (unless they're out of the Makeup Forever's Duomat in 202) which is about 50% of the time. But that's understandable. read more

This is where I go to get my orgasm, and sometimes my super orgasm. Seriously, Nars Orgasm and Super Orgasm are my illuminators of choice and Sephora carries the entire Nars line. They also carry Laura Mercier, Stila, Benefit, Make Up For Ever, Shiseido and every other high end line you can imagine. I love the Sephora brand of brushes - very soft and luxurious. This location is better than the Planet Hollywood or Venetian ones because you don't have to park and walk a mile to get to the store. It's also larger, definitely larger than the baby Sephora in the Meadows Mall in Penney's. The girls in here are extremely generous with samples -- if you see something you want, let them know and they'll scoop some into a little container for you to take home and use for a while before purchasing. read more

The Town Square location is my favorite Sephora because it has the largest selection, its well organized, and the staff is nice. That being said they are nit always the best at color matching. (They always want to put me in foundations or BB creams that are not right for me. To dark or wrong undertone. Not all black skin tones are created equal.) Anyways, I Love Sephora because they have NARS. Not a lot of places have NARS and I love NARS blush, primer, and tinted moisturizer. Sephora is also great because they will sample products out to you so you can see if you like a product. Overall, Sephora has a great selection and lots of options for make-up, hair care, skin care, and perfume. They even have a mens section so the boys don't feel left out. Btw- Sephora does have rewards program called Beauty insiders. Based on points you get free premium samples, a bday free sample, and if you reach 300pt then you get VIB status (Very important Beauty Insider.) I am fairly new to using make-up for the face. Although I am well-versed on eye make-up. Every time I go into a store to find products that I might like, I am always timid and uncomfortable because of how particular I am. I have sensitive skin, a dark tone with reddish undertones, and I know exactly what looks I like. It doesn't help that make-up associates tend to be vultures when it comes to newbies and I always end up going home with items I specifically stated I did not like. So, when I came into Sephora last night, I was prepared to have an uncomfortable experience. I was wrong. Elisa, the sales associate who assisted me, was very personable. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. She showed me several products and helped me test them. When I seemed uneasy about anything, she was quick to garner my feedback in order to move to a more appropriate product. Elisa went above and beyond by showing me the proper way of applying the bronzer, blush, and highlighter. (I was looking for a contouring set). She even suggested the best brush without my having to ask---not in a sales-y way, but like advice your best friend would give you. After we found the best match for my skin, she gave me a sample of her favorite scrub (Since I have sensitive skin, testing a product is essential so as to avoid a break out or major irritation). The best part of the whole thing? After we found my contouring set, she asked if I needed anything else and after hearing that I wanted to continue browsing for other goodies, she left me alone. But not without assuring me that she would be available for any other questions I had or products I wanted to try out. And you know what? Because she made me so comfortable and I didn't feel pressured: I walked over to the brush display and bought the brush too. read more

In the back there was three employees standing together and when I asked for help it was like dealing with some Heathers. I have good skin which I invest a lot of research and money in maintaining. When I mentioned I wanted to look up reviews on the only product one of then pointed out the employee took me to their touch screen and left me to my own devices. I took this opportunity to ask about brow products as I've tried so many and I'm still not happy with my brows. We talked about different brands and shades & she invited me to a "mini makeover" to test them out. I didn't know about this service or that it was free. Score! I was able to determine the best product and best color for my brows and she even gave me awesome tips on how to apply. I'm able to get the shape right every time in half the time now. This is the worst Sephora customer service location. I've been going here for years and it just so bad now that I will never step foot in the door here. I am VIB status and I was looking to get matched for a new foundation because I wanted to see what shade I would be. The white male who was asked to help me was the most rudest and condescending person I have ever encountered in a beauty industry. I explained I was looking to try a different foundation because I wanted something new to try. He goes on an tells me there could be something wrong with my skin and I would need to fix it first. Mind you I have near perfect skin and no acne. I was already fed up with his rude and snarky comments. Got away from him, not sure what customer service he passed but he is clearly in the wrong field. I was trying to search for other things on my list and half of them were out of stock as usual.All sales associates were too busy chatting with each other versus helping customers. After reading other people reviews and hearing about them being racially profiled makes me sick. I wondered why they send that "email about changing"couple months ago. I love the Sephora at this location! It's so much better than fighting the crowds on the strip. I needed to stop by to get some necessities for a trip I will be taking soon. I already knew what I wanted so there was no need for help this time. I walked straight to their Benefit section and found the Erase Paste it works like magic! Then I went in line and was looking at all of their last minute impulse buys by the register and I was happy to find Rosebud Salve in a tube! It's so much easier to apply then the one in the tin ...perfect for traveling!
