WOW! Beautiful store + friendly staff! Brand new Sephora experience! LOVE IT!

This is officially my go-to location for beauty services!!! Yesterday was my second time coming to this location, and I was SOOO happy with my make up!! I came to get my make up done for my 30th birthday brunch at bagatelle, and I was SO nervous because it was 95 degrees and humid. I tend to sweat a lot anyways, let alone when it's that hot and humid, so I pretty much walked in accepting that my make up would last for a few good pictures and then be gone (but oh well!) WELL! I was wrong! Sumyia did such an amazing job. My appointment was at 11:30; and I showed her 1-2 photos of ideas and she instantly clicked with what I wanted. She really took her time, and wasn't going to let me leave unless it was perfect! I'm going to follow the same routine she did because my make up stayed flawless until midnight when I finally went home, without any touch ups or added setting powder!! Thank you thank you thank you! I got SO many compliments on my make up! I also need to Mention I was at this location 2 weeks ago with another make up artist, Briana, she also did an amazing job! Was a more subtle look that I asked for but she chose great tones and I loved the overall finish!! She did my friends makeup yesterday for my birthday and it looked great! This sephora is probably one of the friendliest I have ever been to! They helped me find exactly what I needed and made the visit very easy and fast. I knew exactly what I wanted but they also had recommendations of cheaper alternatives and no sephora ever helps me save money! I loved it! And the location is great! read more

Love that Sephora treats their customers fairly. Whenever I make a purchase I end up finding was not right for me, Sephora makes returning it quick and easy. Whenever I am in need of some sort of cosmetic, I always make sure to stop at Sephora before any cosmetic counter, for I find Sephora trips are always most helpful and enlightening. read more

Everytime I go there , most of the staff is so stuck up and not helpful. Their is probably one or two staff that's nice but I guess they think they should only cater to a certain kind of people , meanwhile my money is the same color green just like the next person. read more

Ask for David! He took the time to do my makeup no strings attached (all though I ended up wanting to buy it all) Took me from Jackie to Marilyn in 10 mins! I'm typically a MAC girl but David's excellent customer will get me back to Sephora for sure. read more

I'm a huge fan of this location. Even when this location knew they didn't have the right product in what in what I need. They knew which location did. The staff I have to applaud for being stylishly sweet! I think people do need realize.. A lot of beauty products take time to go go through. This location is first rate. Horrible service, very snobby manager, staff is under complete control of her (at least the one I had experience with) and is not able to make a step without her permission, I requested a mini makeover and the manager said they have nothing available (I saw at least two staff people standing doing nothing and when they were almost about to help me she whispered something with an anger to their earpieces and they just said they cannot do it. Different story from Uptown on 42nd where staff was so friendly I ended spending much more money as they were very educated, helpful and fun to learn from. About a week ago,I visited there and got really disappointed. As some people mentioned before ,there was no "proper" check out counter. I was served by a male sales clerk for checking out,and his attitude toward me was terribly rude. Actually I `ve got the eye disease so there is a difficulty to read or use small devices in a gloomy place especially after dark. Therefore it took a while to enter my email address with the very small device which he gave me. I asked him for doing it instead of me,but he was like "Ah," with a big sigh. Finally we made it but he seemed like he wanted to get rid of me, `cause I was a dull customer for him. He did not want to give me a bag ,no comment about the reciept, when I asked him for samples, he said "Everything here to be given as the samples. What do you want?" then I answered " I want skincare items please." he said "Go and get it at the skincare area!!!". I was so sad and humiliated by his words and attitude. The reason why It took a while to finish my check-out was just because of my disease. I should`ve said "Sorry, I`ve got an eye disease." to him ? I don`t think so. There are lots of people who are fighting their own diseases everyday without saying it loud. I am the one of them. I never wanted speciall treatment , all I asked for was just normal kindness. People should respect and help each other. I might have appeared 100% healthy to him, but unfortunately I wasn`t. I still have very bad feeling ,that`s a great pity. read more

In terms of product selection it's fine, it's not as large as compared to the one on Lexington which is fine. I like how everything is organized. However the reason it gets such a poor review is because of the service. They were at first very friendly all of them asking me if I needed help and I appreciated that, but, I told each one of them that came up to me "No thank you, I'm just browsing." And yet almost every single employee stalked me in the somewhat small store and hovered around me as if they thought I was about to steal something. Every time I picked up something someone would be behind me, or someone would be watching me from basically a foot away and I couldn't shop. It only got more uncomfortable when I was trying a foundation on myself and the girl who was watching me and circling me around the booth was telling me she could match me to which I replied "It's okay" and then her and another employee exchanged looks at each other that made me feel uncomfortable not to mention that then they turned their backs at me and looked like they were whispering about me. The overall experience there was terrible, I couldn't shop comfortably because I felt like I was being constantly watched by the employees so I left empty-handed when I truly did want to buy something. I can understand that perhaps they were trying to be helpful but it didn't come off as that at all. read more

So I hardly ever write reviews but this experience at sephora gave me faith in the customer service industry. Every employee looked like they loved their job. It was amazing. I was asked by multiple employees if i was finding everything alright. I went o this particular sephora because of the good reviews and the fact it's a little out of the way of tourists. They had a special going on 15% off everything if you're a beauty member. I walked out with so many goodies & with a good feeling in my heart. Jolynda was the best sales employee, she made sure I got the best of every thing and even gave me multiple samples of things I wanted to try later in the future. I did end up becoming a VIB Rouge beauty insider (this is a true makeup addict), a little embarrassing, but everyone was so congratulatory & of course I now get all the perks other shoppers won't get. ;) I will definitely come to this sephora for EVERYTHING. read more

It was okay until something that I didn't understand happen. I didn't get anything in this store but I've been shopping in Sephora for years like any of us. I asked one of sales person if they can give me their tiniest shopping bag, since I had to put a small item to drop it off at my friends place... she bluntly said,"no you can't have it unless you buy a product" seriously??? First of I'm in brand marketing. That little shopping bag that cost pretty much nothing for them since they are printing millions of them, that's the cheapest brand marketing they've got. And some stupid sales person says no for an opportunity that another customer is walking with their branded bag??? For what? To save a dime? How dumb do you have to be to understand the concept? I'm sure corporate will not agree with their sales person. I can't relate to any business especially like Sephora where you pay full price and expected to have such a stupid employees.. They should really train people better. Oh well I rather go to department stores get what I need. Better service, same price and I'm sure they have no problem giving out their tiniest shopping bag without a purchase! read more

Went into Sephora after a long day at work and could not have left with a bigger smile on my face because of Ray in fragrances. He is Extremely knowledgeable funny and could not be more genuine and welcoming! Any questions about fragrance or just in need of a mood boost go to Ray he is a star ! read more

Great little store. One of the guys who worked there, Kevin, recommended the perfect lip product (I am so bad with makeup, I didn't even know what I was looking for) and he even took the time to make me over right before a date that evening. Loved it! read more

The employees here are incredibly nice and helpful. This is my favorite Sephora because of that. I go out of my way to come to this one.
