Amazing customer service! I called Sephora after a horrible experience at Ulta on Lake Woodlands to see if they had a specific product in stock. They took the time to look and held it at the counter for me! When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by multiple employees and checked out very quickly! I like their product range, but honestly, there's way too much foot traffic here. I got to try a fair amount of products, but many of the testers were missing (read stolen), or messy from people touching them constantly. I was offered help, which I'll give them credit for, but I was really disappointed by the unkempt store. There's a difference between busy and unclean. Save yourself and go to the sephora in J.C. Penney, which is much nicer. read more

At some point in my life, I started to really love makeup. And if you want the best of the best brands out there, Sephora is a great place to go. They have a wide collection of different makeup lines, and while it's crowded in terms of aisles and lots of people (hey, what do you expect?) this is where I love to go to shop. The employees are always so pleasant and friendly to me, and they really make sure you're taken care of and have what you need. read more

8/11/17: My friend and I were not greeted by the employees, all in a huddle to the right, when we walked in. Not only that, I had an employee start walking our direction and we made eye contact, he walked away because I didn't look like I "belonged". Plenty of employees walked right by us and only one employee in the perfume isle acknowledged our existence. Needless to say, if I ever became interested in caking my face in make-up I would never shop here. read more

no ma'am! i am an avid sephora shopper... and they literally roll out the red carpet for me every sephora i go because i shop a lot, i'm a rewards member with a gazillion points... so i am new to town and walk in because i need an eyebrow pencil from anastasia. let me also say this... the SMALLEST sephora i have ever been in. it took me a few to find the anastasia section... and a bunch of bored girls just trying on makeup and talking about channing tatum's wiener. i find anastasia, but i don't find the pencil i need in blonde. ask someone if they can help me... get a loud huff and puff and rolling of the eyes and looked thru the drawers and she literally TOSSED the pencil at me! i was in shock! i wanted to look at other new products, but decided against it. there better be another sephora around these here parts in texas. or i guess i'm going to ulta. at least i know i'm going to have to find it myself at ulta ;) read more

She seemed like she didn't even want to help me, she had a long face and went i asked for a sample she said idk if we have that I'm just going to give you a sample of something else.. ok? when I came in I spent 10 min waiting for someone to help me. I saw many workers standing talking and walking around but no one came up to me and asked me if I needed help. After 15 minuets of waiting I asked one of the ladies to match a foundation to me. She didn't seem too happy to help me. Wasn't too interested in talking. She ended up giving me a color way too light and it looks awful so not only did I waste $40 but I also had to deal with some pretty bad customer service. So I really dislike this location due to all the pretentious workers. read more

I went in around the beginning of January, and the staff was really rude. I work in retail as well, so I understand what reasonable expectations are. I had to flag down someone to help me, and once I did get someone to help me, they acted as though they were better than me. The only person who was of any help was the cashier. She was sweet and asked if anyone helped me. I told her not voluntarily. She was saddened by that and gave me some samples to try and make up for it. I have been back recently since the horrible outing, and nothing has changed. Unless you are one of the "beautiful people" don't waste your time going into this store. The employees were altogether rude and were not very helpful with anything that was needed. I was not greeted kindly at all and felt judged but a few of the women employees. I am not impressed with the new way this Sephora has organized their staff. They seem to have new rules or something because some of the things I witnessed in there yesterday stood out to me in a bad way. I was going to purchase the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. Before doing so, however, I opened the palette I picked up to ensure that none of the eye shadows were broken/had been touched. If I'm going to drop $50 on some eye shadow, I don't want to get home and it not be in perfect condition. Upon opening it, a staff member proceeded to confront me: saying quite rudely "we don't open those...if you would like to look at the palette, it's right here in front of you" (gesturing to the display). I explained to her I wasn't messing with it that I was about to purchase it. She didn't even listen and she repeated herself again. "Yeah but we don't open those. Sorry". I then put the palette back and walked away, not even wanting the item anymore. On my way out, another customer asked a nearby staff member if they were familiar with a certain product and gestured to the one in front of her. The staff member said "yes I'm very familiar with it". The customer said okay can you come over here, I have a few questions about it only for the staff member to respond "well...I can't come over there". The customer responded "oh is that your section or something? I guess I'll just come to you then." You could tell she was put off as well by the staff member not being able to simply cross the isle to help out a potential buyer. Horrible customer service... I will probably just be giving my money from now on to the always friendly Sephora in JcPenney in the same mall. read more

I am a VIP rouge customer who went to this location with a 20 percent off reward coupon. I told the associate about my coupon and that I needed to ring my two transactions individually, so I could get a gift receipt. She rang up my first purchase and THEN told me that my coupon was one time use. This could have been communicated in advance. In the past year, I have spent over two thousand dollars with this company and would warn others to use a different location if you want decent customer service. read more
