They are very unprofessional. I live in a subdivision that has very narrow roads. They said and blocked the roads, and one of the cars to drive into the bushes to get around them. They were not working at a house at this location the driver of the truck road out of our neighborhood in the middle of the road and he drove 2 miles an hour.

Two weeks ago I started seeking price quotes to pump my 1000 gal septic tank. When I contacted septic blue I was quoted 3 times from the female rep answering their phone they charge $149. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After listening to here full routine speel she asked me, a retired , disabled educator if I had any further questions, to which I immediately replied YES! Did I hear you correctly and understand you say multiple times " you will pump my septic for $150?? Her reply : Yes, pump and inspect your tank"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].; to which I scheduled the appointment for the following Tuesday! Upon arrival the technician quickly responded to my quoted price saying " she should have never said that" and continued to add all other possible additional costs NEVER mentioned in my initial scheduling phone conversation"!! After 10 minutes, the tec informed me of multiple ozempic type diabetic pens floating on the surface asking me if I flushed them down the toilet to which I indicated never! Ans found it suspicious after ten years of ownership of this property something like that would be floating in a house I'm the only one living in!! After signing a handful of releases never given the opportunity to read each, I was forced to pay $465 because of the content would have to be disposed of at a different facility. After speaking to other companies they said that was nonsense!! I was LIED to for profit, and immediately asked for a $200 refund which was quickly denied, forcing me to pay bill and hold off on my monthly needed meds! Today I looked at their website that states and shows their charge for first time customer is $295! ANOTHER lie quoting me $149 ( which is only for repeat, regular customers which I am not)! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A COMPANY WHO PREY ON SENIORS TO BELIEVE ALL THEIR LIES & DISCEPTIONS! And contact FTC, BBB , investigative news teams, as as Attorney General, and finally file papers in small claims for their bait and switch platform.

Received a flyer in the mail from Septic Blue to have tank pumped for $149.00 up to a 1000 gallon tank. Waited a month and a half for the appointment already had dirt moved and everything ready so all they had to do was pump. Nope. Got told by Dallas Cooper that he is highly trained and can't just pump out the septic tank that they don't do that, they don't pump tanks. As he was trying to upcharge for everything he saw. I was told there was no way he could pump the tank because they don't just pump tanks and definitely no where near the $149.00 and that I was a cheapskate for even mentioning. Don't waste your time or energy on these guys.

every year I hire a new company to come out and "fix" the problem, and every year they would just pump my tank and tell me "I was good to go".

I had them come out to pump my 1,000 gallon tank and was quoted 485 over the phone. The reason I…read morecalled them was because my bathroom had smelled a bit like sewer the last two days and then the morning I called them, the shower wasn't draining as quickly as it had. The last time we had the tank pump was 5 years ago so I figured that's what it needed. They have this bait and switch scam where they tell you it's going to be $485 to pump it but then they show up and they tell you there's an over full fee of $200 and if you happen to have any Kleenex or wipes in your septic system they charge you another $150 trash fee. So by the time you get your septic tank cleaned out it could cost you almost $1,000! They advertise $485 to get you in the door but then they jack up the price with extras. You're better off just to pay a competitor $600 and not get up charged at all. They will do everything for $600 and not add on charges. Ridiculous things. There are a lot of septic tank companies in the Atlanta and Douglasville area. Before hiring this company, please get a few estimates and don't fall for there their price. Gimmick to get them on your property. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Has there ever been a routine? $485 pumping? I can almost guarantee the answer to that question is no. You use the $485 to get people to let you come on to their property. Once you're on their property you have a $285 cancellation fee if they reject your up charges and high pricing. You've got this scam really well figured out and I hope future customers understand what you're doing. It's very obvious. In the future I will just go with the middle priced septic guy and if they try to up charge me with trash fees or digging fees or over full fees I will tell them no thank you and call the next person. I think it's very shady what you're doing with this bait and switch pricing tactic. The only reason you gave me a $50 discount is because I told you that I would have to get some more price quotes from other companies before I committed to the high price with the upcharges. Only then did you quickly offer me a $50 discount. I knew if I didn't accept the offer and turned him away, I would end up paying your $285 cancellation fee. So yeah you guys are cheesy as heck and it's really sad. You should be reported to the better Business bureau and probably criminally as well.

These guys are thieves. They came to my house and couldn't find the septic tank. I had to call the…read moreprevious owner to locate it for them. After that, they still claimed they couldn't find the tank and wanted to charge $475 to use a camera to probe it. Then they asked for $1,000 more to move dirt out of the way, saying they had to hand-dig because there was a cable underneath. Their prices are outrageous and completely overcharged. They showed no real knowledge and kept adding extra charges for small things. They charge me $285.00 for cancelation.

The actual business is not the one in Duluth, it is the one in Buford. Going to the website they've…read moreonly been in business three years at this location. if that is accurate the original service may have been from the one in Duluth. Five years ago, we bought our house and had it pumped just for peace of mind for moving in. We were getting an odor in our house now five years later, so of course I called them again. Upon inspection, they said there was damage to the tank and that was why we were getting the odor, and said it would be $3500 to repair. We would need to pump the tank either before or after. So I told him to go ahead and just pump it. They were here about 15 minutes pumping and charged me $450 which is their standard rate apparently. They cannot access the second lid and according to AI a septic company should pump out of both lids when they do a pumping job for 1000+ tank. Anyway, after the job was done, I paid them, actually before the job was done. I then had a Plummer inspect and said everything was in working mortar and then we located the source of the smell, which was a cut drain pipe from some flooring we had redone, and the drain pipe was never capped so the fumes were coming straight in from the septic tank into our laundry room. After a five dollar tap was put on the smell was eliminated. I then called Pumpco back again telling them that I thought it was unfair to spend 15 minutes for $450. His response was that they don't pump for less than $450, despite the fact that they did five years ago only charged me 200+ dollars because the tank didn't really need pumping. He also told me that you only have to access one lid to be able to pump a septic tank. Upon saying that I wasn't really talking to a reasonable person that was worried about future business, despite the fact that I'd love him a very positive view five years ago, it was obvious just take the money and run. I don't even need a new septic repair either as they were trying to get 3500 more dollars out of me. Originally I called about the odor, and was told they would give a free inspection. I said I would be more than happy to tip the workers for their time and had $40 in my pocket ready to do so. What I got was a whole different experience. I'm not saying they're an accurate about being able to pump from one tank instead of both lids, which one was inaccessible. So make your own decisions. I'm just sharing this so that you can be aware. Just be cautious. In my mind, for 20 minutes of time and hooking up a hose to a tank shouldn't have cost me more than 200- $250. That's just my opinion and that's all it is. And it's just a two person home and probably didn't need it anyway.
