I love Mediterranean food so I was looking forward to lunch at Sequim Kabob House. Sadly, the food did not have the authentic flavors I've enjoyed elsewhere, both internationally and in other parts of the US. We shared the chicken kabob plate and the lamb shawarma. The food is not bad and the portions were large and filling, but flavor is lacking. Bland. The lamb was tender though not off the spit style. Hummus did not taste like traditional hummus, not sure the product included usual ingredients like garbanzo beans, sesame paste, olive oil, garlic, lemon. The two ladies behind the counter were working very hard, but couldn't keep up with the busy lunch rush on a Saturday.

Chicken and beef schwarmas, four salad sampler, pita bread for dipping, hot complementary tea. Yum

Heard it was under new ownership and decided to try it out--so glad we did! We ordered the chicken and beef schwarmas, four salad sampler w pita bites, and complementary hot tea. We totally enjoyed the entire meal! The sandwiches were delicious, sauces so yummy and we will definitely be eating this again soon. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. This place is a nice little spot in the heart of downtown Sequim. Try it you won't be sorry!

This is a restaurant located in downtown Sequim. I came here for lunch to try their Gyro Sandwich. Their staff is friendly and getting my food to go was pretty quick, although there was only one other customer in the restaurant besides me. Although I didn't try their desserts, they had them in a display by the register and their baklava looked tasty! The bread the sandwich comes in was soft and lightly toasted on their panini grill, which was nice. They do give you A LOT of meat in your sandwich, so if that's you're thing, you're in for a treat. My biggest issue was that there was A LOT of tzatziki sauce in my gyro and not enough lettuce and tomatoes, which would be better more spread out on the sandwich, too. Based on preference, I like when there's a little more crunchy, warm bits of meat in my sandwich but it was mostly medium-soft meat that was lukewarm. I think if I go back, I'll probably opt for a gyro salad instead.

I looked at the menu on the counter, made my selections, and ordered. Then he said, "Just so you know, those aren't the prices". Then he showed me a different copy of the same menu with higher prices written almost illegibly in sharpie. I kind of felt on the spot, but I decided that if I was going to pay more, I wouldn't experiment with something new and just got a gyro. I had looked at the menu online before I went as well, and those prices were lower, too. The gyro was $10 instead of $7.99 online, $6.99 on the first counter menu, and the item I was going to try would have been $13 instead of $9.99. That being said, the gyro was large and good. The meat and onions were especially flavorful. I think it's okay to charge $10 for it, but they really need to work on their clarity.

My wife and I hadn't been up to Sequim from Bremerton, WA for a few years, but headed up there to…read morethe local garden show and a chance to hear gardener extraordinaire Ciscoe Morris speak. Had a great time and we stopped here for dinner on a Sunday around 4:30 before heading back home. This great looking restaurant didn't exist last time we were in Sequim. It's right next door to the attractive Holiday Inn Express. Because I had a bit of a drive ahead of me, we ordered no beer or wine, just stuck with ice cold water. My wife ordered the Chicken Caesar Melt ($15.39), marinated grilled chicken breast with Caesar dressing, lettuce, tomato, and Swiss & jack cheeses on sourdough bread grilled with a Parmesan crust. Came with a choice of sides and she had the onion rings. I had Mikey's Homemade Chicken Pot Pie ($17.99), which also came with choice of sides. I had the green beans and bacon, which was very flavorful, but the beans were cooked to death...soft and mushy 50's style; probably wouldn't order them again. Except for the beans, we both thought our food choices were excellent. My wife asked for tartar sauce for her rings and it definitely was not our preferred style...too sweet. Just give us dill relish, mayo and a little onion...no sugar or other sweetener please. Lots of young people working here...all very polite, well-spoken and cordial. Our server did a great job! We would gladly return.

The food came out really quick and the coffee Refills were very plentiful. The staff worked really well together. The portions were very big and everything was very tasty. I liked that they had their own hot sauces that you could choose from and a cool little mini gift shop if you wanted to buy their famous bear mugs. The menus are on a newspaper, so that was pretty unique to see. Overall, I was quite impressed with the service and the food being on a holiday.
