You get soup ((3 choices), two appetizers, either pork fried rice or chicken chow Melin. We chose chow Melin and it was delicious! Our main dishes we chose lemongrass chicken and general Tso chicken. Customer service through the roof! My new favorite place for won ton soup. I have cancer and not much tastes good these days. When I tasted this soup it was as if the angels all started singing. The exterior of the building is misleading. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and they have plenty of seating. I would like to highlight their large booths and tables-great for big parties. The menu has many options. We ordered the Hot Garlic mix (beef, chicken, shrimp). It was very flavorful and not too spicy. It came with soup and rice choice of brown, fried, or steamed. Fresh Wok is probably my favorite spot for Chinese food in Port Angeles. The food is good and the service is friendly. Portions are generous - you definitely won't leave hungry! The place has your typical Chinese restaurant ambiance, but I normally get my order to go. One slight downside is the combo orders that come with soup do not include the soup if you get it to go. read more

Visiting from San Diego, CA and OMG literally the best Chinese food we've ever had. The hot and sour soup is super flavorful. Our entrees AMAZING. The waitress was super sweet!! Friendly staff and large portions. However, the food isn't good. My Mongolian beef (supposedly spicy) had zero hot chilis or spice. The only pepper I could find appeared to be sliced red bell pepper, and the beef tasted old and was kinda sinewy and fatty. It honestly was like Safeway level quality as if it had been sitting for a day or so. The restaurant is decorated very on par with the theme. It is spacious and has plenty of parking, and indoor seating. We were immediately greeted by a lovely server who explained the menu to us. We told her we had just finished two long hikes and were very hungry. She suggested a family meal since it came with plenty of food. We ordered family B which came with 2 cups of soup, 2 eggrolls/bbq pork, bbq pork fried rice, mongolian beef, and general tso chicken. Both entrees are labeled spicy but our kids (ages 1, 6, and 8) ate them just fine. The food was plentiful, delicious, and we were filled to the brim. Even had plenty of extras for the next day. Huge generous portions! I loved the crispiness of the honey walnut shrimp, and the snow white delight came with a ton of veggies. Most meals also come with complimentary soup! We all didn't love the pork fried rice though, and preferred the steamed rice instead. We arrived right before closing, but they never once made us feel rushed to leave. read more

My first time at Fresh Wok would have been fine if not for the snotty waiter. He seemed almost annoyed when I came in, which is understandable since if it weren't for me he would've had the whole place to himself. I wanted to get one of the combinations, but it turned out that you can't pick the flavor of chicken wings in a combination, so I chose to get the butter garlic wings instead of a combo, and also got the hot cinnamon donuts. When the wings arrived, they had vegetables on them, including bell peppers. I told him that I wish I had known it comes with bell peppers. I said, "I know you're not going to change your menu just for me, but you guys might want to consider putting a description of the chicken wings on the menu sometime, because when people think of chicken wings, they don't think of them being topped with bell peppers". He replied in a snotty tone, "Well, that's Chinese style. This is a Chinese restaurant, and most dishes are going to have vegetables on them". After I had had a few minutes to think it over and knew I could respond calmly, I walked over to him and told him, "I don't want to make a big thing about this, but a lot of menus have descriptions on them to help people know about dishes. It's not such a weird suggestion. You're attitude was uncalled for. Telling me I'm in a Chinese restaurant when I clearly know that, was just snotty and unnecessary." He was calm about it when he said, "Okay, that's fine". Not "Sorry about that". "Okay, that's fine". It could have been worse, but it wasn't great. When I was done, I asked for two small to-go boxes and received one medium size box that I couldn't really close and still keep my chicken and donuts separate. I asked for two boxes twice, but to be fair, I'm pretty sure he didn't hear me, since he started talking while I was asking for them. He did try to be pleasant to me when I was paying the check, but I felt like he'd had his chance to make things right with me, and he didn't use that chance. Making small talk is not a substitute for an apology. I actually liked the onions that came on the butter garlic chicken wings, and if I were ever going to come to Fresh Wok again, I would absolutely get the butter garlic chicken wings again and just ask for no bell peppers. Good old take out Chinese when you are in a hotel can be quite the convenience, especially when the food is halfway decent of course. We ordered chow mein and mapo tofu. It was enough to feed a family of 6 for starters. They dressed the tofu up with veggies and basil of all things, in mapo tofu? Well it worked just the same and was a nice touch. Visited this place after going to Olympic Park. We had a huge group of 10 for Dinner. Service was quick and fast and we were always refilled with water and tea throughout service. Hot & Sour soup was very delicious and tasted better than most Chinese restaurants we go to. The wonton soup was also hot and warming to have. Portion sizes are huge if you can handle it and after a long hike, it's guaranteed to fill you up. Sweet & Sour Chicken was very crunchy and sweet, just how I like it. Came here after a long hike in Ozette. I was pretty hungry and I was hoping for it to be good. It wasn't terrible, but it was very disappointing. I got the Honey Walnut Prawns, Sweet Pork, Pork Fried Rice, the Lo Mein, and the Cream Cheese Wontons. The Lo Mein tasted like it was boxed. The fried rice didn't even taste like fried rice. The prawns were severely over-breaded. The sweet pork was meh. The wontons were fine but there was something weird that I couldn't quite place my finger on. But none of it was really gross or inedible. The prawns were the highlight even though they weren't great. The honey sauce was very nice and even though the tempura breading was overdone, it was still good breading. Also they gave me WAY to much Lo Mein. An absolutely absurd amount. I get nervous ordering at restaurants, and explaining my dietary preferences for a range of reasons but I felt at ease with the waitress that took my order. She offered to get me a different sauce for my vegetable spring rolls, she explained what she would ask for the kitchen to be left out (broth, and add ins) and it really made me feel confident that she understood what I needed. The meal was great. Huge proportions that allowed me to eat it for leftovers which took the stress off of ordering one less meal while visiting. I was very pleased with my experience overall. We were in the mood for noodles and ended up here. The reason this did not get five stars is simply that we waited A LONG time for a carry out order. So this is not a quick-grab-dinner-stop. Not. At. All. But, I can say, after a VERY long wait on a Monday night, we were pretty pleased with our order. I wanted to get some things that we hadn't tried before. We tried both the vegetable and chicken fried rice. They are both really good. Our kids loved them too. We also tried the Szechwan Beef which was really flavorful. My favorite had to be a noodle dish which I can't find on their online menu, but it was a very thin noodle with chicken, prawns, and pork and a yellow spicy curry flavor. It was really good. I shy away from spicy foods, but this was so good. Last thing to note: We have a family of 6 at home and this was enough food for 3 meals. The portions are very large. I am a fan. read more

I'll start by saying that the service was good. The food on the other hand was something to be desired. I ordered the Mu Shu Vegetable and Fresh Spring Rolls. There for a grand total of three vegetables in the Mu Shu - cabbage, white onion and bamboo shoots. That's it. More of a variety of vegetables would have been nice. As for the Fresh Spring Rolls, I thought I was ordering the veggie and tofu variety but ended up with prawns and vegetables. That aside, the one that I got was 80% iceberg lettuce and nearly 2 inches in diameter. Really?!? That's by far the worst spring roll I have ever come across. Hey, I'm on a mission to support local asian take out during pandumbic, and saw the reviews on here and anticipated a pretty good meal. Sadly, I was mistaken, this place was grim. The cream cheese wontons were lackluster and the orange chicken was inedible, mushy and drowning in some sort of neon orange goop that was like melted candy. The orange peels were weird, and the whole dish was just gross. I love orange chicken of all kinds, and have happily downed some pretty greasy delightful cheap versions and enjoyed for what they were. This was pretty disappointing. :( Bummer. read more

Went on vacation headed to Forks WA. When I walked in hosts and cooks were wearing masks for Covid - 19. The establishment is not open on the inside for dining but do to-go orders via the phone or in person. I was impressed by the Chinese food! I was wondering why it was a little on the pricey side, but it's because they give you a lot of food. Seriously. A lot. I should have took a photo. So we had leftovers for two days. Orange chicken was delicious, but the ribs were too dry, so I didn't eat them much unfortunately. The pork fried rice is good and so is the chow mein.
