Each place we visited she had already set up appointments, had the phone numbers, and handled all of the talking. She never once pressured us on anything, and it was obvious she cared about getting us to see the most places possible so that we could make the right decision. She even said to us that we didn't, and probably shouldn't make a decision on any of these places, but that her goal was to show us the possibilities and get familiar with the areas and what to expect. In fact, most of the places were new for her to see so she was really into discovering them as well! The best part was she asked a lot of the questions that we wanted to ask and she adapted her questions as she noticed the types we asked. She also was super frank with her opinions after we saw each place, telling us if she thought something was expensive, cheap, a good deal, or missing things that she would consider good to have. In the end, we ended up going with a place we didn't see with Lynda, but turned out to be across from a complex we did visit together. Have you believe he will return 2. To show he was there (your word against his, he knows) -Whatever money you gave him he'll already have deposited in his bank (this guy does not delay with money). At this point he already got what he wanted and he'll then make every excuse to never return. You will be left trying to make sense of the situation, indefinitely. Louie is a true active scammer in the San Jose area who repeatedly has run off with people's money without delivering the work agreed upon. With a little research I've discovered Louie has gone through a few business-name and phone number changes in his time. Anything to do with "Louie M." and "Junk Hauling" in the bay area should entirely be avoided. Just another note, his voice mail box is always full which is used as a tactic so you give up hope of ever getting in contact with him quicker Our Police report has been approved and we will be prosecuting to the full extent of the law. BEFORE I said anything more Louie said not a problem and asked when I am looking to have this done and what I needed (junk removal, garage clean up, demolition) I told him I had shed tear down, 2 car garage clean up and small clean up in my backyard but I also told him I live in Sacramento... fearing that Louie would not travel I paused- he said Ms. Gonzales 7 day hauling will travel and he and his son would be on it right away and could schedule me for Saturday or Sunday because of the distance he preferred the weekend which worked better for me because of work. We talked price and he asked for a small $150 deposit upfront and everything was good to go, he was fair against other businesses and quotes plus he was willing to travel. Today is Sunday... Louie and his son did a great job, the family factor in their business and communication with Customers is key in how they operate. What looked like days worth of work and demolition Louie and Anthony had done in 4 hours!!!!! They work quick and SMART making everything seamless for the customer. My price quote never changed, everything was done as he explained and Louie cleaned up along the way keeping everything nice without chaos considering the amount of junk I had. I strongly recommend this family business, price is fair yet competitive and he goes out of his way to do the right thing and move to the next job! I'm hiring the Moreno's for my next clean up.

Only found one place that would replace it for $30 plus $10 shipping! I also needed my mower sharpened. 10 years ago I could get it done for $30 at S&W on Stevens Creek but they are gone now. I'd paid $60 at Gardenland (a fine place by the way) but the place that had the handle would also sharpen the mower for $85. For some reason I agreed to this deal even though it would be a week-and-a-half to get my mower back. Monday I came to my senses, picked up my mower from Milpitas and made my way over to Valley Saw. They are located near 101 and 280, and keep a supply of used mowers from which they can get parts to fix your mower. I came in and met Dale, and had a very pleasant time learning about my mower while he chose and installed just the part I needed to fix my mower handle. The part was rusted in places, but sturdy and fit exactly, and Dale charged me an incredibly small amount for the replacement. I told him after I mowed my lawn I'd return and leave the mower Monday for his inexpensive two-day turnaround mower sharpening service! Dale showed me how to tell the blades needed sharpening (blade doesn't touch bar, blade edges rounded). He showed me how eventually the sharpenings wear down the blades. I suppose they can then be replaced or *then* I can get a new mower. We observed that no two sides on my mower were alike, what with all my stepdad's "custom" repairs. Like at my Honda car repair shop (W&K automotive) it's great to talk with the guy who does the work. Valley Saw sharpens and reconditions saws and pruning tools like loppers, and sells sharpened and reconditioned push mowers for $40. They had four lined up in the showroom, and all looked pretty good.
