IRBIS responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry. Scheduling an estimate with them was quick and easy. I was pleased to learn that they were using the ServiceTitan app which notified me when the technician was on his way and allowed me to track his location and estimated time of arrival in real time. However, I do wonder a bit about the extent to which ServiceTitan is driving their (and other contractors') service pricing. Bek (IRBIS plumbing tech) came out to provide the estimate. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. After asking a few questions while he inspected the site conditions, it became clear that he had prior experience with undermount sink installations, which is what I was looking for. During the estimate he recommended that I replace my existing lift rod lever popup, which requires disassembling the popup assembly beneath the sink to clear clogged hair and sludge (which I had done the prior week), to a push (click-clack) pop up. The push pop-up would be easier to maintain since you can simply remove the top cap to clear hair clogs. The estimate took less than a half hour. Bek processed the estimate for the project which I received while he was still at the job site. I had other plumbing subcontractors bid on the project but decided to go with IRBIS for this project due to Bek's experience with undermount sink installations and IRBIS's 1-year warranty on the work. I agreed to the digital estimate (via digital authorization) and Bek returned two days later with his colleague Azat to remove the cracked sink and install the new sink and pop-up. Bek & Azat were professional, courteous, and worked efficiently together. They put booties on before entering the property (Thank You!!), then removed the old sink, installed my owner-supplied replacement sink, replaced my existing lever pop-up with a new push pop-up that matched the finish of my existing faucet, and finally tested for leaks. They left the work area clean and hauled away the old sink. They completed the installation in an hour. The finished installation looks excellent, is easier to maintain, and is leak free so far. The quality of the Bek & Azat's workmanship, communication, and professionalism were outstanding. The one thing prospective customers should be aware of is the pricing. I agreed to pay $983 for a straightforward under mount sink replacement using a sink that I purchased and supplied for the job. There were no unique factors identified during the estimate visit that suggested the job would be anything other than a straightforward removal and replacement for a technician with prior experience removing and installing undermount sinks. My particular situation involved a new tenant who had just moved into the rental unit two days prior, so getting the work completed quickly and efficiently was worth paying a premium. Whether that premium represents good value for others will depend on each customer's unique priorities. Therefore, I would encourage prospective customers to discuss pricing upfront to ensure it aligns with your expectations and budget. My overall experience with IRBIS for this job was excellent given my priorities. Bek and Azat represented IRBIS exceptionally well. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer service made the entire process smooth from start to finish, and I would confidently trust them with future plumbing projects if the price is right for the job.

Michael came out to my house and walked me through the pros and cons of a heat pump HVAC. For my home, the extra money made no sense. I really do not need central AC. We then talked about a new Carrier, high-efficency furnace. That was exactly what I needed. I also opted for the Ecobee Smart, wi-fi enabled thermostat. I am extremely happy with everything. The price was right. The installation was flawless. The post-intall QA walkghrough, by Johnny, went really well. ThenI worked with the folks that checked all the boxes post-intalleation. HERS test was easy with a pass.. Today, we passed the inspection, in under 5 minute. Every person I dealt with was amiable and professiona. The office staff always very nice. Michael Calvey was a joy to talk to. Thank you to Johnny, the project manager, and the folks from HOPSTER that facilitated the post-installation test and inspectioin. From start to finish I met with Michael on February 12th. The 16th the new furnace was intalled. February 17th Johnny did the QA walkthrough. February 18th HOPSTER did their pre-test and inspection walkthrough. The HERS test was done February 23rd. March 5th the city inspection was complete. I will continue to use Calvey for annual maintenance

Ely has done work for us in the past too and I've found him reliable. Thanks, Ely!

He does great work and charges what I think are very reasonable prices for the level of skill and quality involved. The first call was at my mother-in-law's house, where Eli diagnosed a broken compressor in her refrigerator that had stopped cooling. He did a great job working with my mother-in-law whose first language is not English. She was very happy. A few days later, he came to our house after some interior lights stopped working following a deep cleaning. He fixed the lights, then went well beyond that. Our freezer door hinge wiring harness had snapped nearly every wire inside, which had also taken out the ice maker. I'd honestly written the ice maker off after a few failed attempts to repair it myself, but Eli came in and showed it could absolutely be fixed, and done right. He patiently soldered and extended close to ten broken wires, heat-sealing and re-sheathing each one so the same failure wouldn't happen again. His fix also cost much less than replacing the whole door which was what I thought was going to have to be done. Finally, when we noticed water pooling under the refrigerator a few days later, Eli came back and dug into the back of the unit to clear a clogged compressor drain. He cleaned everything out in the process and helped put everything back together perfectly. It's more than just his expertise that I appreciated. Eli is friendly, honest, easy to work with, and a just a nice guy. He also took the time to engage with our three-and-a-half-year-old son, who was glued to every step of the repairs at our house, and made him feel like part of the project. Ever since, our son has been busy "fixing" everything in the house with his own toy tools. I'm really happy to have found Eli and SmartFix. He's the first person I'll be calling for any future appliance work at our home. Thank you, Eli!

I immediately flipped the laptop over, shut it down, and left it upside down while I ran to the store for rubbing alcohol. I carefully wiped down the keyboard and called this place as soon as they reopened on the 26th. For context, Apple told me the computer would likely never work again and tried to sell me a new one. This shop was reassuring on the phone and accepted the drop-off right after the holiday break. The employee we spoke with (may have been the owner considering how competent and dedicated he was) was extremely kind at drop off. I had my computer back within 48 hours, before New Year's Eve, after a deep internal clean. They confirmed the cleaning was successful, that there was no risk of corrosion over time, and no expected shortening of the computer's lifespan. I paid under $100 and walked away with a perfectly functioning MacBook. Nearly two weeks later, there's no sign at all that anything was ever spilled. So grateful to everyone at Quick Fix!
