My husband booked this new location for a romantic night out for us on a Friday night of my milestone birthday. While we were warmly greeted and I was wished a happy birthday, we were told we had about 1hr and a half to eat and if they needed our table, they would basically ask us to leave at that time but if they didn't we could stay. Nothing on their website indicates this policy, nor when we made the reservations, and I was about to leave but we decided to give the place a try since it wasn't super crowded. To be honest- we might have ordered more if we weren't feeling rushed. I can't remember the last time I had a time limit on dinner without an ALYE or drink component. We ordered a tiramisu to go ($13) when we got home, we discovered it was a very small portion, but it was very good. Service was just ok, waitstaff was attentive. Ginger spritz was good and a decent size pour. The food was good but not super special - my pasta alla vongole was a bit too spicy. Portions seemed smaller than some other restaurants I've been to on the area, although filling.

The food service and ambiance was so good. I took my family here after trying the food and drinks out with my girlfriend. The pizza was so so, could have used more cheese and tomato but the escarole salad with avocado and warm shrimp and beans was so tasty and balanced (large portion) My server recommended the fafalle bow goes limoncello who's was so light and tasty plus penne vodka, so yummy. The pasta dishes are on the small portion side but quite delicious. We all loved the ambiance and great service. This will be our neighborhood Italian go to place, yum!

I enjoyed the lasagna but the service/hospitality was not great at all. We came at 6:30 and the restaurant was pretty quiet but were immediately told we only had the table for an hour and a half. The restaurant did get busier as the night went on but it didn't make us want to have more than one drink. We did end up bringing home a piece of tiramisu which was decent. Wouldn't rush back here- you can get better Italian food for the price elsewhere in midtown East.

This drink tasted so delicious. They have other mock drinks if you're not an alcoholic drinker.

I ordered the FARFALLE AL LIMONCELLO from this location when I walked by searching for place for lunch. Although my order was extremely delicious, the portion was small and very pricey. My coworker and I decided to come in for a dining experience. We were greeted right away with a friendly face and after verifying our reservation, we were seated right away. The atmosphere is bright and beautiful with lots of wine bottles in the decor. The service is amazing - the servers were very attentive to our needs. Most importantly, the dishes were delicious and the portions were great. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu!

    Ravioli con salvia

Service was slow and inattentive even though the restaurant was not particularly. The Ravioli Salvia is supposed to be a signature dish. Pasta was undercooked and cold and the brown butter was greasy and not done correctly. Overall not worth the money and time.

Lasagna BurrataPizza and Pasta Vongole !

Serafina was fabulous on all fronts. Beef Carpaccio w truffle was super Calamari was perfect ! We had the lasagna, Pasta Vongole, and best was our thin crispy hot burrata pizza w prosciutto ;-) Service was fantastic as Arturo walked us thru his faves. The pistachio crepe CAKE was our first ever and boy was it AMAZING . Our family really enjoyed Serafina we had a very nice dinner.

As I walked in and saw just how swanky this place is I panicked - there was no way we could just walk in here without a reservation, right? But the hostess was, thankfully, so down to earth. I was straight up like hey I totally messed up and thought we could just walk in here, she was like you know what, let me see what we have. Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

There's also seating on the second floor, perfect for couples or small groups. I tried two of their cocktails when I went. The first was the Eastern Julep, a delicious twist on a classic. The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. I'll definitely be back for happy hour or dinner with friends!

Did you know this is where the Beecher's used to be?! RIP, I miss their Mac n cheese.... the vibe is completely different now (think extravagant Mediterranean vibes, it's very instagram-mable with the beautiful bar area). I had made a reservation for 5:30 (again, life with a baby is very different)- we arrived early but the staff were very gracious and were able to get us seated. They seated us in a side alcove area where they had cushioned seating, which was very helpful. What we Ordered: Drinks: Barlume Spritz and Hibiscus Mule (N/A cocktail)- drinks were good, nothing too special but we appreciated the cute stirrers Appetizer: Halloumi- grilled halloumi with roasted eggplant puree. The saltiness of the halloumi went so well with the creaminess of the eggplant. (Baby liked the eggplant puree too hah) Entrees: Lobster Arrabiatta and Duck Ragu and Truffle Pizza. My husband got the lobster arrabiatta and was raving about how delicious it was. He said it was the perfect level of spice. My duck ragu was served with busiate (a corkscrew shaped pasta) which I thought 'trapped' the sauce perfectly so you get a nice saucy bite each time. Pasta was perfectly al dente- my one gripe is that I felt the duck ragu was a bit too salty, which even managed to overpower the tomato flavor. We shared the truffle pizza, which came topped off with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. I liked the porcini mushrooms on the pizza, this was a first for me. For dessert (which we had to gobble down quickly because baby was starting to get fussy) we got the pistachio cake. SAVE SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH FOR THIS ONE!!! This was my favorite in the whole meal, the kataifi gives it that wonderful crumbliness and it went soooo well with the mango sorbet that's served with it. Recommend for a nice dinner with friends or a cool place to grab drinks! 4.5 stars

The place was very busy and loud. After a while the bar tender finally acknowledged me. In the mean time I've made my selection. Cabernet Sauvignon, Garlic Shrimp, Seared Skirt Steak. The shrimps arrived first, cooked properly and quite tasty. The skirt steak was next. Although tasty it was on the chewy side. Compared to other Tapas bars, it's OK, I would return

It's a small area with the tables pretty close together. We were given a table in the far corner, which was perfect for comfort and looking out at the restaurant. Two of us each ordered a glass of house wine, which were "ok." We opted for the Boqueria Experience, which is $65 per person and includes a variety of chef-selected tapas, a paella and an order of the restaurant's special JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA, which is described on the charcuterie menu as aged 48 months, with deep marbling, rich and nutty flavor. We enjoyed most of the tapas, including the potatoes, the beef/lamb balls, the salad and bruschetta. The croquettes were "ok" with the heavy aeoli masking some of the flavor. The seafood paella was good and was different from ones I've had in the past, with the caramelized layer on the bottom. Yum. Honestly, none of us was a big fan of the Jamon Iberico de Bellota. I'm sure it's special and luxurious, but we found it not to have much flavor. Frankly, it was a big disappointment for us. The service was beyond excellent. We were very pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, the superb water service and the general enthusiasm and pleasantness of the Staff. We will come back and try different items on the ala carte menu. I thought there would be more seafood and meat tapas offerings in the "Experience". Instead, it was a lot of cheese, vegetables, dates and bread. Although $65 per person likely was a good value for what we got, I think the tapas items were heavy on the lower cost tapas and that it wasn't a true top-of-the-line "Experience". A seafood dish or even a chicken dish (chicken wings) instead of one of the two croquette offerings would have helped.

We had a nice table tucked in to a corner where we had a view of the kitchen and could sit next to each other on the bench seat. Our primary server, Luis, was helpful and lovely. Shoutout to Chris who not only tended bar but worked the floor and to the lovely hostess whose name I wish I had gotten. But really the whole staff was just A+++. We shared the crispy artichokes (outstanding) and the cacio e Pepe arancini (where the fried parsley was especially unique and delicious) to start. I had the eggplant parmesan which reminded me of an eggplant dish I had in Venice -- but better. My husband had the ricotta cavatelli which was also great. For dessert I had the olive oil cake accompanied by lemon curd and --wait for it -- rosemary gelato. I was skeptical about this gelato, but it turned out to be a wonderfully fantastic surprise! My husband had the Apple Crostata which was also fantastic. The limoncello was a perfect way to end the meal. I was told by my husband that I can't shave off a star for Chef Tom not being there himself. So, I won't. Fair enough. But I'm still hoping I catch him another time.
