0/10 would not recommend, unfortunately. I booked an appt on a Friday to have a gel manicure and french tip pedicure. When I arrived for my appt I was barely greeted, and there seemed to be confusion on the services I requested. The girl who seemed like she was in charge barely made eye contact, and there was very little interaction with customers other than those she seemed to know personally. When I called to request the appt I was told someone would be able to work on both my feet and hands simultaneously, but the one girl who was available didn't appear interested and so I had to wait until another nail tech was done to receive service, and unfortunately she seemed to be overworked as well. The lady performing my pedicure did not do a thorough job, and my manicure obviously did not have enough time to cure--something I realized once I arrived at my car to find a few of my nails appearing matte rather than with the appropriate coat. After my services were performed, I stood and waited for someone to check me out for at least a few minutes before anyone even looked up, and could have walked out without payment if I was a less conscientious individual. Due to a lack of time and heading out for a trip, I didn't have time to return to ask them to redo the gel, and sure enough by Monday morning both my thumb "gel" nails had peeled off, and by Thursday two other fingers on each hand have began peeling as well. I will be returning to request some level of refund for services as I paid $85 for the services!! I wanted to give them a chance as they are not too far, but due to the poor customer service and low quality product I will never frequent them again, unfortunately. read more

This is my second time at Serene Nail Salon, and I'm extremely happy with the work! I had a dip manicure with Anna and today had that removed and had a gel manicure with Abigail and couldn't be happier! The reason why I will continue to return to this salon is their hygienic practices, both times they have opened tools from sanitation packets and learned that they DO NOT reuse the pumice stones between customers - which I can't believe so many salons do!yuck! Opened and Abby's personality has changed within the past 2 months very rude You asked for something and she always says there's no time the reception at the desk is not friendly, doesn't smile? It seems like only some employees are working everybody else's.watching the nail salon has really changed. It's not a friendly nail salon anymore. Abby does not make you feel welcome. Her personality is completely different not welcoming. 4 of my family, members would go, but we all felt the same vibe within the past 2 months. We have gone in there. This was my first time coming here and I genuinely had a terrible experience, I would recommend everyone I know to go ANYWHERE but here. I asked for a new set with a simple French tip. It took 3 separate nail techs to attempt it and none of them could do it. THREE nail techs could not do French tip. How insane. Then I settled for a basic pink instead because I was bothered about how long it was taking to do French tips... this whole service took 2.5 hours. When I went to check out the cashier apologized about my experience and was very nice about it and offered to have them fixed. I had already been there for 2.5 hours so I declined the offer and then I did express that I am not one to complain but that I am extremely disappointed with this service. Then one of the girls that attempted the French tips came over and was trying to argue that they look fine. They do not. If you don't want to waste your time and money, don't come here. Shoutout to the two nice girls. The rest of you need to be retrained and fix your French tips + attitude. Oh and the pink I settled for also looks like a 4 year old painted it. This has been a fabulous from start to finish. The woman on the phone was happy and so inviting. I was grateful they got me in as a walk-in for a pedicure I did the organic volcano pedicure, involves multiple steps of skin and foot care with a massage in the legs. I opted in for "17" in the pastels pink gel polish and it came out very clean and professional. The salon staff offered me a complimentary coffee, it was so yummy!! I love the atmosphere. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I know what to look for. This salon is very clean. I can tell they follow state board protocol. Which I greatly appreciate! I just moved to the highland area, Everything was good until I notice the small lady using the same sanding band and tools on multiple people. Definitely not sanitary. I came here to get a pedicure. I got the $50 pedicure because I figured I had a coupon from when the nail salon grand opening for $10 off service for hair or nail service so I decided to add on gel to my pedicure that was an additional $15 so 65 and when I went to go pay, the owner of the nail salon said that she couldn't accept the coupon even though there was no expiration date on the coupon for $10 off And all she said was so sorry we've been open for four months. That coupon is no longer valid, even though there was an NOT AN expiration I myself have worked in customer service before, and I find this very unprofessional for them to not accept that coupon when they are the one who handed it out I won't be coming back here. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job but the owner not accepting the coupon is ridiculous there should have been an expiration dated if it only had a certain amount of time. read more

so i went here because of the good reviews, so i decided to go for short white french tips but as the lady was doing my nails i notice that none of my nails had an apex it was complete flat and barley any acrylic application was added. she didn't prep my nails at all, she didn't cut my cuticles and she gave me ring of fire she kept filing a lot on my natural nail. the french tips she had to redo them because they weren't turning out right and even then it didn't look right but i just let her do them to be nice and they look super bulky from the ends but they look okay! they just don't have any apex at all to the nail so i know there gonna easily snap off and the french tips make the nails look bulky but its whatever i ended up paying 65$ for them. and ALSO the owner will always try to look for ways to throw some shade at you or for they can be correct! and there not god forbid a girl says the honest truth read more

I visited the nail salon portion of this beauty salon to get a gel pedicure. Excellent customer service, no line, and very clean. They had posters on their walls about how they keep their jet tubs sanitary which I thought was a great transparent business practice. The prices were very comparable to other nail salons in the region if not cheaper. Before applying the gel color I chose for my pedi, they tested the color on my hand so I can be sure I liked the color. I didn't even have to ask. The pedicurist also offered to apply a little acrylic to one of my broken nails to make it look even with the other toe without me even asking. I really appreciated the care their staff showed.
