It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. It's practically gone now. It would also crease my eye makeup. I've also dealt with acne around my cheeks for about two years, so there was some scarring. After getting microdermabrasion after a few sessions, they've been reduced significantly. Adora is also very nice and professional. I've enjoyed my experience at Hi Skin because of their service. I would say the only downside to my experience was that I had to attend one more session (to fulfill three total sessions) before quitting my membership due to moving states. I think it's important to do research or read anything before making a commitment. It is a pricy and upscale experience, so be sure to be knowledgeable about what you are getting into. I still use the skincare line recommended by Dana, because the product itself has delivered désirable results. The facials are in the same room as other clients, so it's not exactly a private service, however, each client has their own esthetician.

The products are good quality, though to me they do seem a bit high-priced compared to others I have found that seem to work just as well. I will concede I may be a bit more budget-sensitive than the type of customer Skoah is really aiming for. The two main reasons I cancelled my membership are because I felt I was ready for a change regarding my skin care routine and the membership model didn't work for me anymore at this point in time.
