Everyone at Serenity is amazing. Even if I moved across country, I would fly back just to go to them. I have a serious fear of the dentist and have severe anxiety in general and they are all so comforting from the minute you walk in. I would HIGHLY recommend Serenity to any and all of my friends and family. They have heated massage chairs that take your mind off of everything. They don't judge at all! It was a great experience and I am so glad we found them. My husband needed full implants and they have taken such great care of him, calling to check on him, making time for him when he felt like his temporary dentures didn't fit right, staying late to see him after work, and so much more. I needed work done because after years of seeing other dentists, my teeth are not as good as they should be and they made me feel like it was not the end of the world and worked out a plan to get me back to a healthy smile. I was very sad when I got a phone call telling me that an appointment that I had was cancelled that was scheduled for December, 2020. During my prior time at Serenity, I had dental coverage with my employer and asked Serenity if they take Medicare, after I retire and they said that there would be "no problem". At the time, I recently retired in February, 2021 and I advised them that I now had Medicare and a United Healthcare plan. My family and I had been patients to Serenity for quite some time and I was confused as to why I was no longer welcomed. I was told it was because of Covid, but other patients were being seen. I really liked Serenity. There was never ever a problem and all the bills were paid. They are good people and do a great job. I just left there feeling discarded and shown the door. If you are searching for a dentist, Dr. Gregg Taormina is just what you are looking for. Like many, a dental visit isn't at the top of the list. It does help when they make it simple to set up a time that was just right for me, greeted with smiles and a warm welcome right from the start. I felt very relaxed in the waiting room. Their dental assistants always are so nice and patient with me especially since I am not the best at xray time, but they make it easier! Dr. Gregg is one of the nicest you will meet. He is outstanding and very skilled. He turned me back into a person that enjoys smiling for pictures something I never liked. From implants to veneers to a simple cavity he is great. As a new patient, they made me feel so welcome! I have pretty terrible anxiety when it comes to dental work, but the hygienist, Tiffany, made me feel extremely comfortable and confident. They make sure to let you know what they're doing every step of the way. I came to their office during crunch time in an effort to find more affordable dental work before my insurance coverage ends, and they're working with me to make sure I get my work done well and in time! After very bad experiences with more than one dentist in the Pocono Area, I was referred to Serenity! What more can I say other than AWESOME SAUUUUCE! Dr. Taormino and ALL of the staff are very welcoming(your name is displayed on a monogrammed blackboard), friendly and informative! The office is very well kept, quiet and always CLEAN! My children's exams were COMPLETELY done, no half behind cleanings or xrays, everything was explained BEFORE procedures were performed and none of my children complained of any discomfort or "tooth chippings" after their cleanings or dental work! As much as we all don't like going to the dentist, Serenity makes it pleasant... The office staff is wonderful..Dr. Taormina, is gentle,thorough and professional.
