After checking out their Yelp page and seeing all of the rave reviews (especially those from my fellow Elites), I felt comfortable that I was in the right hands. I booked this appointment on Classpass after a few months of strengthening my nails back up with regular manicures and missing my long acrylics. Booking via the Classpass app was incredibly smooth and there were a number of spots available that worked with my schedule. Located in Buckhead in a small plaza on a busy street, you'd really miss it if you blinked. I didn't check into parking around the back but upfront, it's pretty limited but they have about 4 tight spots right out front. I snagged one that I was able to drive right into vs. needing to parallel park (tysm) so it turned out to be a prime spot for me. I arrived just a few minutes prior to my appointment and when I entered the salon, I was greeted by a number of happy faces and friendly greetings. There were 4 or 5 customers being serviced at the time and I was quickly seated and prepped for my appointment. I was lucky enough to be paired with Nick and, wow. What a gem! The next time that I return, I HAVE to make my appointment with Nick, and Nick only. He was sooo friendly and sweet! I am (surprisingly) not super chatty on a regular day but he brought it out of me, lol. I swear he knows my life story now. He asked me so many questions about myself and told me about him, it was like chatting with an old friend. Nick was also incredibly patient as I figured out the length and style I wanted to go with and my gel removal. I decided to go with a natural tone and was being super indecisive on how to go about it, but Nick recommended the best process to get the shade I was envisioning. It ended up perfecttttt. Since it was my first experience with gel, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to come back today for an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, today's experience was much worse. Before he even put the tips on, he asked me at least five different times what color I wanted. I explained each time that I was still deciding because I wanted to look through the color book first. Instead of giving me a chance to choose, I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. The nail tech was also on the phone during my service, and I felt like I didn't have his full attention. I asked for a simple, short, super square acrylic set, but my nails ended up rounded, uneven, and sloppy. I also requested a simple two-color design using a pastel yellow and pink. Instead, he used a neon yellow instead of the pastel shade I had chosen and never gave me the opportunity to choose the pink shade I wanted. As soon as he applied the colors, I politely told him I didn't like them. He huffed, walked away with a visible attitude, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply speaking up about something I hadn't asked for. At that point, I didn't want to argue, so I kindly asked him to just do white instead. Overall, I left disappointed. I expect to be able to take my time choosing my colors, have my requests listened to, and be treated respectfully if I ask for a correction. Between feeling rushed, the poor communication, the attitude when I spoke up, and the uneven quality of the nails, this experience fell far below my expectations. All is well (seriously lol) I tried a few places when I first moved to Atlanta. When I found nail lab I found home. 5 star every time I go. Quality control, cleanliness, friendliness and professional. Unfortunately my workplace does not allow anything on the nails just an fyi my work does not involve contact with people. nor does it produce anything for human consumption or would affect anyone. So I slip in nude colors and sometimes gel extensions. I like to think of it as my workplace is keeping me on a nail budget lol

My nails just don't have that fresh look after like day 3 and I'm over it. This was my first time at this place and i had a flight to catch that day so i left here and went about my day. Later that day i realized on a few of my nails the acrylic wasn't brought all the way to the edge of my nails. It's not even 7 days later and i already look like I need a fill. This is not normal!!! And it seems like everywhere I go I run into this. I'm so sick of spending over $100 on wack nails that don't even last!!!
