A couple of weeks ago, I was debating between a few restaurants I wanted to try and at the same time celebrating a special occasion, and I can't be happier with my selection, Sérêvène located within the Greystone Hotel in South Beach. Sérêvène is a Japanese/French fusion restaurant with a reduced but well curated menu. They held a 1 star Michelin in 2024 and while they don't have one in 2025, everything from service to presentation and quality of the food was characteristic of a Michelin one. I loved my experience and I will be sharing some of the highlights. A dinner without a cocktail is not a proper dinner, so I started with a Novela, a tequila based cocktail with grapefruit and jalapeño; sort of a stronger Paloma without the bubbling. Well executed! For appetizers, I had the beef tartare and the lobster and prawn spring rolls. The beef tartare was one of my favorites of the night, however I gotta say serving it with Lays' chips is not a good fit for this nice dish. It could be innovative, but it's cheap. A premium bread or some sort of better chips, would have made this dish a 5+ starts dish in my opinion. As for the lobster and prawn spring rolls, they were ok, I would go for the green curry or sashimi next time as they looked delicious For the main course, I went for the lamb shank and the salmon welly. They were both delicious but the lamb was next level flavorful with meat coming off the bone so nicely. If you like Indian flavors and spicy food, this dish is for you. The Welly was almost as delicious as the lamb. I loved the concept. My only issue with it, is that the salmon naturally breaks/flakes so easily so it got a bit messy when slicing pieces off. Other than that, it was spot on flavor. Have you ever had foei gras in dessert? Sounds weird but it is so creamy. Their foei gras and donette dessert was one of the best desserts I have had lately at a restaurant. It was some sort of soft, creamy and light at the same time, like a light cheesecake. Just delicious. I also appreciate chef Osvaldo Olvera for stopping by, introducing himself and asking for feedback about the experience. All in all, a nice experience.

According to my husband probably the best meal he's had all year and we eat out a lot in NYC. Serevene and its Chopped chef winner deserves a Michelin star. We loved everything we had from the birds nest to lobster pasta, lamb shank and foie gras crème brûlée. I can't believe this place isn't packed every night. Truly a hidden gem in South beach

If you're up for a quiet, relaxing and romantic dinner, this spot is perfect to check out. It's located inside Hotel Greystone in Miami Beach. We made a reservation for our group of 4 people, which I recommend in case the restaurant gets packed quickly (especially on a weekend). - Beef Tartare (4/5): I learned that I am not a fan of beef tartare, but it was a good first experience. They brought out the plate of beef surrounded by the minced vegetables and seasonings. We took our pictures and our server mixed up the beef tartare until everything was evenly incorporated. I thought it was interesting that they recommended the Lays potato chips to eat with the beef, but they were not wrong about it being a great combination. I think I just couldn't get over the fact that the beef was raw (I know, what did I expect? LOL), which didn't allow me to enjoy it as much as everyone else did. - Lobster Uni Alfredo (5/5): So delicious! It's plated really nicely when it comes out and our server helped us mix all of the ingredients so that it's evenly distributed. The caviar and lobster were so fresh and paired so well with the alfredo sauce. - Fois Gras Donettes (4/5): I think this is a hit or miss for some people. However, personally, I don't really like associating sweet flavors with my savory ones. I know it says red cherry bordeaux reduction, but it was sweeter than I had hoped and my taste buds were a little bit confused. But despite that, the dish itself was still good. - Foie Crème Brulée (5/5): This dessert pretty good and I loved the concept of it. When it came out of the kitchen there was a fluffy ball of cotton candy on top of the creme and berries, which our server melted with a blow torch, creating the caramelized sugar in crème brulée. - Pour Le Chocolat (5/5): I love me a melty, ooey gooey chocolate cake and this hits all the right spots. First of all, presentation was beautiful. Too beautiful that I did not want to destroy it. But once I dug in, I couldn't stop. It was warm and sweet, making every bite delectable. This was my favorite dish along with the lobster uni alfredo! Everything exceeded my expectations, from the food, the service, the ambiance, and even the pricing! When we went, there was a happy hour going on where the entrees from $20-$29 would all be $20. The beef tartare is normally $27 and foie gras donettes are $28, but they both came out to $20 each. Our server was fantastic and made our experience so memorable. Thank you so much for such a great experience Sérêvène!

Opened in 2020 as the signature Restaurant inside Michelin-key Hotel Greystone Sérêvène by Pawan Pinisetti sees the "Chopped" champion embrace his philosophy of "simplicity done right" though Japanese ideals and French technique. Once a fixture in Las Vegas, but now creating some of the most exciting Food on South Beach, Chef Pinisetti's first solo Restaurant features an a la carte menu tapping into everything from years with Joël Robuchon to his Indian heritage while staff from diverse backgrounds attend to every detail of the guest's experience. A chic space with soft lighting, everything from living walls to custom stemware an intentional choice, it should come as no surprise that Cocktails build backwards from the kitchen whether one chooses an aromatic "A-POTH-E-CAR-Y" or Dessert-friendly "TRITON'S CAKE." More than just a Chef, Pawan's role as managing director at Greystone seeing him involved in every aspect of the establishment including sourcing, Appetizers feature a who's who of top purveyors ranging from Creekstone Farms for Beef Tartare to New Zealand's Ora King Salmon served Sashimi-style with Soy and Balsamic. As personal a menu as one will find in Miami, "#PORKISMYFAVORITEVEGETABLE" used to describe faultless Suckling Pig with Sauces and King's Hawaiian Rolls, an ode to the "Chef of the Century" arrives in a small crock loaded with Butter while Caviar "Push Pops" are an upgrade on the usual "bump." Always a minimalist in terms of plating, Sérêvène's commitment to being nut-free seeing a Wild Mushroom coaxed to maximum flavor by way of Soy "Beurre Noisette," Lobster fares well whether as crunchy Spring Rolls or atop housemade Bucatini with Caviar adding a textural element. Comforting yet elegant with "QUAIL EGG GHEE ROASTI," but growing in opulence by way of Donuts beneath Foie Gras, Dessert takes on both ends of the spectrum by way of classic Chocolate Fondant and tableside-torched Duck Liver Creme Brulee.

A hidden gem! I've been here several times and each time has been absolutely fantastic! The service is on point- knowledgeable and kind. The ambiance is wonderful (there's also a piano bar that has a swanky vibe to it upstairs). My absolute favorites: hen of the woods & the lobster pasta with caviar. 10/10! The table side beef tartar is absolutely phenomenal too! On my last visit we ordered a few additional items I don't recall what they were but everything was so delicious and tasty! Great job Chef!

Not a hidden gem but a hidden treasure this fine dining establishment is. Went for Miami Spice and couldn't believe where it was located since I've driven by numerous times and hung out at Sweet Liberty which is literally across the street, same block. It's a gorgeous space inside the Greystone hotel and easy to miss if you're just driving by. Chef Pinisetti is cooking some exceptionally delicious food in this joint so let's talk about it. After sipping on a nice glass of Chardonnay this is what I ordered off of the MS menu... ORA KING SASHIMI: beautifully plated dish and presentation off the charts, it was both pretty and delicious. That salmon was fresh and high quality. The crunch from those pebbles made the difference, not sure what those were. This is a very light appetizer so I ordered something else not on MS menu. DIVER'S SCALLOPS: when I tell you this was one of the best scallops dish I've tasted anywhere. Flawlessly cooked, tasty and the sauce in the side, finger licking goodness. LOBSTER UNI ALFREDO: this is the absolute BEST and MOST delicious Alfredo dish I have EVER tried in my life. Presentation is top notch as they mix all the components in front of you. I can literally bathe in the creamiest, most flavorful Alfredo sauce in the planet and the caviar elevates it to beyond perfection. So good I didn't care they're skimping on the lobster because it's not even necessary. Of course lobster was perfectly cooked but the pasta and Alfredo sauce taste like none other. FOIE GRAS CRÈME BRÛLÉE: also a hit as far as presentation and taste. Brought to me like cotton candy and then torched, this is not you're ordinary crème brûlée but lighter than most and unique in flavor. Last but certainly not least, the service was top notch all thanks to Cameron. Professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, helpful and attentive is just scratching the surface. He even introduced me to the Chef for a brief moment and had a short conversation about all the magic happening back there in the kitchen. I was also informed they will book musicians for live entertainment in November and I believe that'll attract more clientele. I can say this is without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I've had this year and now one of my favorite fine dining restaurants in Miami.

Tucked inside the Hotel Greystone on Collins lies the French / Japanese inspired restaurant, serevene.... Very interesting to say the least (for Miami) - I would say more French in preparation which I wasn't expecting. Anyways, Chef P came from a Vegas background running the culinary scene out there with all the MGM spots, thinking this may allude to the style of dishes you would try here. I liked everything we ordered, each dish played off each other nicely... Ora king sashimi was a great pallet cleanser, miatake mushrooms were a touch richer, chicken yakitori was juicy - not greasy. Wasn't a huge fan of the cup the "sweet pea cappuccino" was served in. Being that this is "izakaya" style, this was a bit hard to share(I would have preferred a wider mouth). The scallops were surprisingly my favorite. Wow. The poularde was absolutely incredible as well, very creative, highly recommended both. I would def go back and try the uni lobster Alfredo. Service was attentive and not over bearing. Chef P came out and butchered the chicken for us which was nice, you don't typically get that kind of service in Miami. The music was odd and too loud at first (literally dubstep was playing lol) eventually it chilled out. Overall, it would I go back? Yes, it was different.. I'm intrigued to give it another try.

Went during our mini moon and had the best experience with our server Fabio. We went on the earlier end at 7:30 (early for Miami) so there weren't too many other tables there but the vibe inside is really cute with good music. We tried a couple of dishes to share and recommend all of them! The beef tartar was delicious and mixed table side - comes with baked lays chips which is the perfect match. The lobster pasta also mixed table side was delicious.

Sérêvène is a Japanese & French restaurant located inside the Greystone Hotel. Everything we ordered that night was really good. But the highlight for me was the Foie Gras Hot Pocket. A must get if you dine here (hopefully it doesn't leave the menu) . Service was also top notch, our waiter checked on us frequently and took the time to explain menu items. Chef also came out to greet us. Highly recommend checking this place out. Great ambience as well.

Ten stars!! Happened to pass here whilst strolling the neighborhood on a recent weekend visit. The menu had options for my friend and I who are pescatarians so we made an early Rez for a Saturday evening and wowza. Gorgeous dining room, we were seated in a large comfy booth. Our waiter Fabio was phenomenal! He kindly explained the menu and let us order a la carte in addition to the fixed menu. Gave us good cocktail intel and was such a smiling friendly face. Perfect plates for sharing, the whole dinner from start to finish was completely enjoyable with no moments of meh whatsoever. It was remarkable and hope to come back someday!

Serevene is located inside Hotel Greystone in Miami Beach. What an extraordinary dining experience! From the ambiance, to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, to the delicious flavors from each uniquely crafted dish - I cannot give enough praise to this restaurant. To say I was wowed is an understatement. Izakaya style cuisine inspired by French and Japanese flare. Definitely a great restaurant for sharing and exploring delicious dishes. I would recommend the restaurant for any and all occasions! A special date night, a celebration (birthday with friends or anniversary) or even a girls night out. Chef Pawan himself came by our table to introduced several dishes and presented them. The Director of Food and Beverage, Fred, also came by to introduce himself and presented us our tasty dessert. Their contributions really elevated our dining expedience and we were all extremely impressed! I am still dreaming of the foie gras we had and absolutely loved the beef tartare. I look forward to coming back next time I visit Miami!!

I looked over at the rest of my party and told them that we had to eat there. We made our way to the host and ask for seating inside... well, I was wearing a ball cap, so I wasn't allowed to dine inside, but the roadside seating was offered... hey, I understand rules of apparel, but when you are appealing to "World Cup" fans... you could do worse than someone wearing just a ball cap. I understand that rules are rules, so I was satisfied with where we were seated at... besides, I was excited with the great smells that were emanating from inside of the restaurant. As I began to look at the menu, I will admit that I was a little shocked with the prices of the cuisine, but I got to thinking that this could be a high end joint, I was ok with it. I was financially prepared. A female server came over to our table and asked to take our drink order. I guess I must have offended her when she offered to serve us Aqua Panna water in the liter bottle for $12.00 a bottle, and my response was that my country raising refused to let me pay $12.00 a bottle for water, especially when you can order a case of it off of Amazon for $36.00 for a case of twelve bottles. I decided that I would settle for a good old southern staple of "sweet tea" to drink, which was seconded by another person in my group, while the third person decided to have a Sprite. Our server left us to go and fill our drink order and finally made her way back to us after about 15 minutes of being gone to advise us, that the "bar" informed her that they no longer had any sweet tea for the night. The time was 9:30pm and they were open for business till 12:00am, so I was a bit set back by this, but I wanted a steak. I ended up ordering a plain old tap water to drink because, well, I was not going to pay $12 for a bottle of water... I was not dying of thirst yet. So we ended up getting a lemonade brought to the table, a glass of water, and an eight ounce glass bottle of Sprite, at $5.00 a bottle. We got our drinks, so now let's talk about our food. I ordered a 14 ounce New York Strip steak, medium well... I'm getting older and don't digest uncooked food so well anymore, sadly. The rest of my party ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and the third finished off with the chicken parm plate. Our sides that we ordered were roasted brussel sprouts, and a loaded baked potato without chives. Now comes the good part... if you are still here, you are going to find out if they can cook a good steak or not... Well, we got our food after another lengthy wait. Now let me tell you, the guy who brought our food gave me one of the most beautiful cuts of steak that I think I have ever seen. It was definitely a New York Strip. I could already tell from the juices running in my plate that my steak was definitely undercooked. I looked over at my party's food and see the chicken parm, and I'm telling it looked and smelled great. The filet mignon smelled great but it appeared to be over cooked. From what I could tell, it looked like the cook got the order backwards. We cut into the respective steaks and my suspicion was right, the Filet Mignon was over cooked and the New York Strip was way undercooked. At this time, it is getting late. It is after 10pm and I had just finished a six hundred mile drive, I would have eaten my shoe if it was served right. I cut into my steak and began eating it. There was no flavor on the meat at all, I guess they don't use seasoning, other than the grilled garlic clove, that is to be used when eating the steak. I did get to taste the filet mignon, and it had way more flavor thank New York Strip. Sadly, I must have drawn the short straw on this meal. I was hungry and I was refusing to let a $70 steak go to waste, so I ate the entire cut of this steak. To bring this to a close I want to address the billing. They added a service charge to the receipt, which is something I have been used to if there was a large party, but for them to serve three people, I felt we should have been the once's to decide on the amount of the tip we leave our serve. This is to keep the server honest and make sure they take of the customer. The odd thing is I usually tip over 20 percent because I have family who are part of hospitality business. They make their living on tips. This night it didn't total up to what normally give... I was not inclined to give it either. I understand the goal is to make money, but I am a believer in taking care of your customer...Maybe it was the way I was dressed, or how I sounded with my southern draw, I feel like this restaurant really misread me and my group
